We have a new font on the signage in front of the globe

This looks great. Honestly, if this is the direction Dreamworld is headed (back to their beginnings), I think they've turned a corner and I have some hope for the future of Motocoaster and Sky Voyager.

All absolutely good points. They may also want to do something with it but aren't able to allocate the funds to it yet. If they have a good summer, or their mid-year review shows a better than expected result, they may be able to allocate additional funds to a retheme. This may be why gold coaster was such a short notice period - they may not have known it was able to fit in the budget until the last minute. I agree this ride needs change (not removal) but with so much going on across the entire park - Tiger Island redevelopment, Rivertown, extensions to Ocean Parade, the Flyer in Main Street, the ongoing works in 'Dreamland' and the recent work on GD and the Train, if you add that to the retheme of Gold Coaster, install of Taipan, the removal of log ride, TOT, Wipeout and Buzzsaw, there is very little of the pre-TRRR park (outside of the wildlife area) that remains untouched. It's clear they're working their way down the list, so i'm happy to be patient.

I bet Dreamworld has something up their sleeve, Dreamworld likes to drip feed us the big master plan. I would not be surprised if we get more announcements next year.

Demolition has begun. While it's sad to see the original tavern be demolished, I am not sad to see the ruined version of it go. We sort of already knew this because of the site plan, but it won't be long before the entire area from MDMC to the Restaurant will be flattened out. Because of its positioning in the park and the dence vegetation surrounding it, a part from peaking over the fence, there aren't many locations in the pakr to watch construction. Which could suck for getting photo updates, but will help with the surprise and big reveal of the land (something we don't get often).
