  1. sarcasm is the lowest form of humour, appart from that this is still a waste of space
  2. Although I cannot confirm this without the parks location, i am fairly sure that that actually isn't a space shot. I'd say it is actually an S&S Power Combo Ride. Space Shot and Turbo Drop merged into one ride.
  3. the log ride might be old, but its good to stay with a classic style of ride gives the park some herritage, but it is not decrepit or unsafe. Recently underwent a massive refit and reconstruction. and you get drenched and when its hot that is a good thing The lake reservoir is used to they can drain water rides for maintence over night. the water is stored there
  4. nick colours are always flourescent orange also you guys have a great christmas
  5. Yup was a 6230i, won't be using it for much longer, getting a jasjam. Also the umbrella is just so a OP can get a bit of shade, i don't think the 61m tower looks like a cafe. I am quite happy with it overall.
  6. Hey guys was at movieworld today, I am quite sure you guys a being a little harsh. It is a flat ride, and generally a flatride doesn't have to have a huge amount of themeing, it is already in a very batman area. In a themepark where land is at a premium, minimalism can be quite useful, less structures, also gives visitors a better view of the ride. It is more than suffient for a small footrpint ride. I was quite happy with it. Also when you see it in person you will see it produces a bit more fog than you think. If that really is your main concern...
  7. superman escape has its own website!!! http://www.supermanescape.com.au/
  8. The Wipe Out undergoes a regular maintainence program, recently went under a massive overhaul maintainence. I wouldn't be concered about its safety i don't think it is possible for the restraints to fail or for someone to fall through, push the restraints really quite tight some say a bit too tight, but i like the security because i like riding it hands and legs free instead of holding on. hanging loose rocks. as far as replacing it with a top spin i couldn't possibly understand why you'd want to do that capacity is too large 40 is plenty during quiet times you can sometimes barely get minimum load (20 people) let alone get the minimun required load for a top spin. Not to mention the Vekoma Wipeout has the ability to oppose its engines so the carriage can move angularly. a top spin doesn't have this ability so the ride would possibly be a little bit more boring. I love the wipe out i couldn't imagine why they would ever want to remove a popular ride like that
  9. i've been told they are going to shut down the looney tunes ride soonish anyway
  10. a proper indoor darkride rollercoaster is what the park really does lack, movieworld has the scoobydoo (MACK) and thats an awesome dark ride. I'd hope they'd work on a major attraction.
  11. a thrill lift and tilt coaster would be cool, or a B&M diving coaster would be something not seen here before. or even a hydraulic launch gigacoaster or hypercoaster would be cool although awefully expensive.
  12. I've heard rumour about there being a possible Bolliger & Mabillard. they are quite different to intamin and vekoma. I tend to think that vekomas rides are too rough and shakey and make them not fun to ride. if it is a vekoma hopefully they have improved their smoothness
