  1. No I have never had my thongs stolen. And besides I don't buy thongs from the super-market, I buy em from either the surf shop or the motorbike shop and pay about $20, and when I go to wet n wild I usualy go with parents and get them to hold it. BUT im going next year with friends and no parents, so you know what I will do? Just not wear them because I honestly dont think the ground gets that hot.
  2. Just like Swanny said there still isnt much room for an indoor launch. I think they should use the other side of batman ride que for que line of spaceshot, but then it may get confusing. You know what I think would look good, a figure of batman standing up the top of the tower staring down at the que line or the water fountain with his cape flapping in the wind and the batman logo on all 4 sides of the tower up the top, or is that not possible? What ever the theming is I reckon it will be good. And someone said that theming is supposed to be really good for this ride.
  3. Wow... The time has seriously just gone so quick. Only seemed like the otherday when the area was being prepared and no machinery was there! YAY! I have read many times about the Waves being surfable... do you think that they would have special surfing events for the public at night? Like a surfest or surfing competition, because that would be so awesomely awesome if they did!
  4. Its not the only swinging inverter ship like that, although it is still extremly unique. There are only two like that, one in Paramounts Wonderland Canada, and the other one was in Canadas wonderland sister park, Wonderland Sydney. Gazza you say how they are similar, when there are very different. ONE: your not enclose by ugly steel frames, TWO: Bounty's works on the momentum of the counter weight, I know the ones at the shows do, but they dont rely on the weight as much and also when the ship gets stuck upside down the engines stall and braking mechanism (dont know exactly what it is) is engaged with Bounty's when it stops upside down.. it is actually still moving and there are no brakes or anything stoping it, its just the weights momentum slowing it RIGHT down up the down, and THREE: The Swinging Inverter Ships at the shows dont provide as much thrills and aren't as big as Bounty's. Hehe... THANKYOU I had to add this in to that I forgot all about... restraints are different and are more secure... and well I think I would trust bounty's more than what I would a Ranger ship.
  5. Hiding my mothers cup? Why if I did that she would just get another one from the cupboard like anyone else, although, putting someones bike behind the bush is hilarious Talking about the H20 zone... the ground there is extremly slippery, has anyone else noticed? I thought because of being a water park OHS laws would state that they needed that none slip concrete. Anyway, just leave your thongs at the bottom of the slide, they get stollen, EH who cares, go to Big-W or some place like that, or your local grociers and get a new pair for like $4
  6. Your not talking about the steel colour are you? Because when I went there they were black as well, but that was just because the steel was untreated... and you could still see quiet well all the welding points. Is it an actual powder/wet/dry paint coat, or is it just bare steel?
  7. Aww the height isn't scary at all. Just sit there and laugh at the others who are pooing themself Why not even scar them? Aww BD your holding on you can't hold on
  8. Go to there website. Its on the data park data base. It is like a maze. But no ordinary maze. You walk through obstacles, pelt big balls at your friends, walk across a bottomless room, walk in a room with wabbly walls and floor, half these hands and things prode you while walking through a dark hallway.... its excellent. Next time your there, GO TO INFINITY!
  9. You will be fine. The claw is just a good laugh, and you can really feel those g's as you rush back through the station. I really do think though that you should do the GD and TOT. They make look and sound scary but there not. Just be grateful you don't have to ride with me, because I LOVE scaring the scared and nervous ones, hehe espicially on the GD. The trick to the GD drop is look straight ahead at the horizon, no where below it though, if its your first time and you look down you may get vertigo (no joke) but that rarely happens. And if you wanna know when your going to drop, just listen because when your up the top your still moving up slowly and you can hear the pulleys working in the tower, listen for this "winding" noise to stop, then when you hear it stop, hold on, because you know your going to drop. As for the TOT its very tame. Just sit back and relax, your belly will not drop from the free fall, its the launch that will get you, and heck, wave to the people looking up at you. Just don't sit on the side seat if it your first go. Hope that helps.
  10. Sorry to bring up old thread. Thats because Putt Putt ROCKS! Lol, I love putt putt. Infinity has changed there maze again as well, like they always do, so its good, its never always the same. Lol I remember I "fell" off the bridge.. I WAS STANDING ON THIN AIR! Snow world no longer is open is it? I went there in like 97, it was alright, not the best. Was cold, there were a few ice slides, ice sculptures, and man made snow, that was it. Ripley's is awesome, no matter how many times you go there. I can't believe no one has mentioned Time Zone! Time Zone is so cool. I love it, and it is quite large. And on the plus side you have bowling and target range next door. Surfer's Paradise is my bit of heaven
  11. BTTF: the ride has gotten terrible lately! The dry ice machines are broken, not all 7 stages are open, theming has broken away. Word is that it is closing down, petitions are going around to re-amp the ride and not to close it. And aparently a simpsons ride is supposed to go there, but makes no sense, simpsons is fox. Sorry that was off topic. My friend was going to record it on dvd for me, but his dish got blown off his roof the other day and they waiting for a new one. Hey tony, record it and send it to me, lol. Hey, not long till I move to QLD either, haha, you gotta get me a job. Anyway talk to you on messenger.
  12. Phaw all these ideas being generated. Some sounds hard, some easy. Lol they are all so great... apart from home and away and neighbours.. yuck. I don't have any ideas because you guys have said all the good ones, lol. Keep up the great work! P.S Nice avator aidan, lol the picture looks familiar, hehe.
  13. I didn't like the idea of it when I first herd of it, but I guess it should be good. It will all get more exciting when construction begins.
  14. White water world was open to the public today. It was a media day, you had to RSVP but 12 am last night. The guests had to wear hard hats and safety vests, they had access to all areas of the park, pump rooms, pools, staff rec. rooms. Wish I could of gone.
  15. I think I went on the ride when I was 6, wait the ride is at disneyland right?
  16. I didn't think they would be able to do that. Like, wouldn't the noise spook the tigers?
  17. hey netball courts are exciting... well for the specators...
  18. Good stuff. I love watching these things on discovery channel. I have watched some other one, but on the tycoon of a theme park. Was good, so was this, thanks for links.
  19. When I was there ( a few weeks ago) they had signage all around blue lagoon saying something along the lines of blue lagoon is permanently (sorry for incorrect spelling) closed and making way for a, and i quote, AN EXCITING NEW ATTRACTION, but hey, they probly just saying that. Yeah the slab was does when I was there and some workers were around the base of the mountain.
  20. Ohhhh front cariage... me drowling, hehe. Does anyones feet come off the floor in the front carriage?
  21. Why not a flying coaster? It would be what people are wanting, an Australian first.
  22. Someone mention before in another thread ferris wheels make them sick... my friends get sick in them. anyway don't wanna get in an argument.
  23. I want to be back on S.E so much! I dream about it, lol no joke! Ohhh I love that ride, espicially the airtime in the front carriage.
  24. I agree, tear drop loops are getting pretty.. um.. boring? Although I love the HUGE loops, don't know why. Inversions rock, but not all coasters need them. SE is a major coaster, and I think it a good ride. Anyway, the mine ride has no inversions, lol. I just want to know what it is!
  25. Matt, talk 2 me on msn dude. Yeah tony went for a job interview today and showed me brochures they gave him.
