@Slick If you were running DW you would send it broke in a week. Sometimes sacrifices must be made and a wire fence at the back of a park is one of them. I had no problem if SW went with a shed because of budget restraints but I had an issue with the colour smacking you in the face.

@jozIt wouldn’t surprise me if the problems are out of managements hands. I have a few theories. 1. The company that purchased VR had a shocking year and lost a lot of money so maybe they have been told to rein in the spending. 2. VR had major staffing issues over Christmas and maybe this hasn't been 100% sorted. 3. Covid.

Also people think surfmist is white but it it's actually a really light grey that looks white. During certain sun conditions you can see the grey in it. This makes surfmist a colour. @rappa It's just a running commentary and not final thoughts and not something anybody is willing to die on their sword for.

I don't know where you got that from but with colorbond that isn't true. The only thing from the model that has 100% come to pass. 2 white boxes🤣

also what @Gazza said. Theme parks are treated differently from anything else as they have their own planning scheme.

Long answer. No Special Development Approval would be required from council for SW to build Leviathan so council wouldn't have any involvement with the approval.. Short answer No.

@Gazzaand it's obvious they're trying to make the shed not stand out with it's white fascia & gutter but the contrast against the coaster makes it stick out. It's one of those comical moments because when they designed the sheds it was purposely made all white so not to stand out but they stuck it against a brown backdrop which now naturally draws your eyes towards it….. It’s no different to adding contrasting colours for a feature wall of a room. The only problem is they have made the shed the feature wall. I hope I have jumped the gun on this one.😀

Limited colours means good luck finding a non-common colour. Still plenty of colours to choose from but you have to stick to what everyone else is doing, so it's whites, greys & browns. I wouldn't have a metal shed in any colour. A white shed is what you to do if you’re a theme park based on movies and want to mimic a sound stage. Village is confused on which park Leviathan is being built in.

I'm probably jumping the gun on my thoughts but if you wanted to blend in the shed, why would you go surfmist as a colour?

@rappaI was talking about WWF when I said shipping delays. Building material shortage in Australia has very little to do with shipping delays. A building boom stared a few years ago in America and it didn’t have an impact on Australia because we were going through a building slump. We are now going through our own building boom but America has drained the market of materials. We are currently getting the leftovers on what America isn’t taking.

@themagicianI don't know if this happened with Buzzsaw. River rapids was a family ride & Buzzsaw is far from a family ride. Families who rode the River rapids are unlikely to jump on Buzzsaw. Because it makes people poop their pants. GD has to be one of the most intimidating ride to get on. The real questions on everybody’s lips, if I ride the Skyloop coaster at Gumbuya World and I have previous ridden it at DW is it a new credit?

Quality over quantity is the way to go.

@Gazza Superman is still my fav ride in Australia. (The pacing is on point). And changed it up by adding a backward launch and spinning seat. I've noticed you haven't talked about the spinning seat which seems strange considering you're more of a thrill junky.
