You should never be allowed into DW again. Just saying. @Mc coaster You can vomit all you want and Skeet don't give a flying flock of sheep. It's people like @Andrewh that forces DW to put a roofs on Log rides. @Andrewh still doesn't get it as long as he displays his trophy photo in his profile. -

The Financial Review is reporting alarm bells are ringing as Goldman Sachs is set to defend Ardent. Ardent has engaged Goldman Sachsâ investment bankers to pore over the companyâs share register and are seeking to identify who was willing to pay a 20 per cent premium for its shares. For Ardent to employ Goldman Sachs, defiantly has them concerned.

OR You could sleep in your car and jump the fence, then you can go to the Grafton Aquatic Centre. The Water slide at Grafton Aquatic Centre is a huge attraction for families throughout the valley as well as visitors from afar. On the weekends and school holidays there are 2 slide sessions per day. Session times are 11am-12.30pm and 2pm-4pm. Cost for the slide is $3.00/day/person, entry not included.

Ardent Leisure Group was fast out of the gates on Tuesday morning, after a buyer paid a 20 per cent premium to snap up a 4 per cent stake in the company. The Ardent Leisure share price is one of the top performers today, itâs up 16%. Why Is The Ardent Share Price Jumping? According to reporting by the Australian Financial Review, a large investor has bought 4% of the company at a price 20% higher than where the shares were previously trading. The trade at $1.20 per share supposedly was handled by UBS and was worth a total of almost $23 million shares. Who knows why the trade was done at such a large price? Perhaps the buyer will soon be launching a takeover bid? Or maybe an investor simply wanted a piece of Ardent Leisure this week no matter how much it had to pay. At this higher price I donât think the Ardent Leisure share price is a buy, but it will be interesting to see if anything happens with this mystery buyer. A potential takeover or positive news in the near future could explain why such a large trade was done, however the circumstances remain unclear.

Urban myth or fact? -
The new NCC 2019 had nothing to do with SV delays. I'll put in context. Imagine youâre building a house and you get the building approvals and the builder builds the house. Sometime from the start of the building process and until you get a final inspection a new NCC comes out. Say the new NCC requires 4mm glass instead of the 3mm glass that was approved to be installed when you received your building approvals. Does anybody believe they would tell you to replace every window in your house? The answer is no and thatâs because the NCC isnât retrospective. The day the plans are approved is stuck for ever.((98% of the time)) Up to the current NCC a new NCC came out every year since 1998 right up to 2016. Itâs crazy talk to believe or think that the NCC requires every building ever built to comply to every new change. Hereâs the but. BUT The Queensland Government has the power to overwrite the NCC. (more or less) and the power to add to it. The last version of the NCC was 2016 The GrenFell Tower fire happened in 2017. The new version is NCC 2019 from the 1st of May. The theme parks removed the items before the new version of the NCC came out. After the fire and it was apparent there was a problem the Queensland Government did an audit on all of its buildings. After the QLD Government realised how widespread the problem was the QLD Gov legislated that all private/public structures go through a 3-stage review on cladding items that might be a fire risk. If the states waited for the NCC to do their own changes to the building code, then it wouldâve only been done a few months ago. In a matter of fact, by QLD law, the unsafe cladding doesnât have to be replaced unto May 2021. While state authorities grappled with problematic cladding, some property developers and owners took pre-emptive action to replace the cladding that they know, or suspect, falls foul of the new standards. I'm not going to say anymore on the matter because I'm putting myself to sleep.

I'll fight you big ears.
-
Yes, they are cracking down on it BUT the NCC isn't retrospective. If they have been asked to remove it as you say that direction comes from the Queensland Government or WPHSQ. There is also a possibility the parks did it on their own merit.
-
The NCC cannot force you to update your existing structure to the current standards. If they did nearly every structure in Australia, more than 10 years old would require changes.

Why not 3?

That is not what was said.

NEWS FLASH! Voicing an opinion is not hating. Hating has become a lazy copout internet word. Iâve previously stated DW hosting a family Halloween night is great but un-carved pumpkins and hay belong on the farm. Skeet would be happy if during the event kids got a chance to carve the pumpkins or if DW had an artist walking around the park and the kids could watch some pumpkins getting carved. Sorry but a pumpkin doing nothing belongs in my belly with my Sunday roast.đˇ

Matches the non-carved pumpkins nicely donât you think. TOP DEFINITION halfass Dreamworld attempt at theming. Something done poorly, a bad job, a rushed task the person could have done better at. I told him to clean his room and he did a halfass job! Dreamworld purchased thousands of pumpkins and didnât carve them. Dreamworld hangs random lights on train station for no apparent reason.

I wish DW would ditch the shade too but it's going to take a while to get all the dumb out of DW.
