  1. Hatched area looks to be dark part of the coaster
  2. Measuring wheel is the name on the tip of your tounge. I thought the most exciting thing since DCR was the village key. //s I'm a bit disappointed you're not getting us back door photos at Thorpe Park @Andrewh
  3. That would have been the perfect option for DW but because I believe this has been designed backwards, I don't believe it will be to the same standard. Hopefully I'm wrong.
  4. It was always going to have a floor over the pool but because the architect purposely left it of the drawings, shows the intent, the floor isn't the focal point. The original construction drawings differ from what has been built on site.
  5. Oh sorry it's missing something, this is one of the plans where DW calls it a pool. Why have a 700mm deep pool if you can't see it? You don't need a pool to be 700 deep for water fountains.🤷‍♂️ Also nowhere in the tender documents is there any information about the water fountains. That is why, I believe the water feature/fountains to be an afterthought, or should I say DW viewed theme park nutters like us asking for it. Maybe the whole floor system has changed from the original tender to accommodate the water feature and DW are no longer going with the mesh decking. But for people who don't know what I'm talking about and until DW proves me wrong (again) with a whole new floor system, this is what the floor will look like according to the tender documents. Sub-floor Mesh decking fixed to the top of the sub-floor.
  6. The first concept DW rushed out the door, also shows no buildings. The original Architectural drawings show it open. It's very clear, it was DW's intent for you to see the water. But as I said,
  7. Definitely not Disney but this is DW's centrepiece.
  8. So, if you're worried about people falling in, you can have retractable fencing like Vortex does?
  9. No it is not. Vortex fence is from bad design decisions and has nothing to do with pool fencing. The depth of the water triggers if you need a pool fence or not and Vortex's doesn't require it. Mid cross rails make it a climbable fence. (non-pool fence complaint) Gap under fence makes it not a compliant pool fence. You can reach the water before reaching the fence. The flyer will also have a fence around it, to keep people out of the ride envelope.
  10. 100% but I'm not talking about hiding the steel. The steel will be hiding the water below. People who think Flyer will be surrounded with a beautiful pond will be disappointed. The only water that will be visible, will be a small section around the globe.
  11. Oh boy, you have eaten desert before eating your vegetables.
  12. Going to be very hard to see the water under your feet with all that steelworks unless they add some lights in the water. Maybe the engineer didn't get the brief that the water was to be seen.
  13. Zombies can't keep a job because they keep losing their head.
  14. @STRAWS Dapto added nothing to the conversation and just and just did his standard keyboard warrior, manbaby remark. I didn't move no goal post as I addressed @ShakeShack comment and didn't say Shake was wrong. All I have done is add to the conversation. Even though more actors may have been added, DCeased still sucks, and I told @ShakeShackwhy it still sucks.
  15. Do you care to elaborate how the goal post have been moved in this case or are you just sooking again?
  16. No goal post have been moved. All I'm saying is adding more actors would do nothing to fix the issues. @Brad2912went the second week and he said, DCeased sucked. One person said that and everybody else disagrees with the one person, I believe.
  17. It doesn't matter how many extra actors they add to DCeased. The lighting sucked and the oversized rooms, created no atmosphere. Plus no real thought or direction went into the actors.
  18. It wouldn't surprise me if Flash doesn't open but MW use it as a carrot to increase attendance.
  19. @REGIEyou can see it spinning at the start of this video.
  20. With demolition about to start and building approvals lodged and approved, I wonder when we will see DW take delivery of the coaster.
  21. ?🤷 Vekoma Mine Train At this point I think everyone is talking about completely different things.🤣
  22. I watched the video now, and I can't see what the train is. Is there another video? I said- For some reason, @DaptoFunlandGuyposted a Zamperla coaster when I was talking about a Vekoma Mine Train. A different coaster. Anyway, I'll move on. Tell me about it.
  23. I already said, I hadn't seen any videos on it. (probably because I don't waste my time watching TV) All I had to go on was DW's original announcement, DW posted.
  24. Nothing that concerns you. Nothing in the original concept or announcement mentioned mine cart. The concept and announcement both showed a Vekoma family coaster and not a Vekoma mine train. The testing of the new element was done with a Vekoma family train and not a Vekoma mine train. I'm just trying to work out if Jungle Rush ia a Vekoma family train themed mine cart or a Vekoma mine train.
