  1. What would a recording of it do anyway to help DW? By what I have read, they are not looking at going after DW for the idiot ending up in the water but for how long he spent in the water before help arrived. That’s what I’m getting from it anyway.
  2. I agree. 99.9% of them are very poor. Why would I go to a Facebook page and go through 100 pages to find out what time DW is open today. 99.9% of these sites are just stealing each other’s photos. Theme Park Girl's photos must be real good because I think every site I visited has one of her photos. The news is never their own. The shit that is super stupid when you see a photo posted of a pizza. “Buy this pizza it only cost $8.00” Pages acting like they are the park or are trying to help the parks sell a pizza are dumb, stupid & funny. @joz I am withdrawing from negotiations for my company to purchases your “Theme Parks a Go-Go” After many years of research my company has found that “Go-Go to a Theme Park” would be a better option. I wish you well and encourage you to visit us one day.
  3. Hi Michelle. It is yet to be confirmed, but we believe that the ride may have two different cycles, one where it spins 360 degrees, and one that spins 150 degrees. Stay tuned for more details. @themagician where did you get that info from?
  4. I think the colour of the seats is strange. Maybe they are just bare while they connect them. Hopefully they are going to dress them up.
  5. I think your right. I feel left out now.
  6. The approval is for movie world and not the studios. I think they will use it for events but I can't see why they wouldn't rent it to the studios too.
  7. I wasn't having a go at you @Theme Park Girl the truth be know, I didn't even know you have created one. The main reason I think they fail is people don't realise how much work goes into them so people give up on them. The other main reason they fail is because most of them are the same.
  8. I don't waste my time of the shitty web sites. To put it better, I don’t waste my time shitty facebook pages. I swear at least 5 new Facebook page pop up a week. I reckon half of them come from people on this site. Facebook news pages suck. I don’t know why people keep creating them. I have been on this site for 10 years now and would have seen over 100 new pages created but I can't remember one that has lasted.
  9. This is a new "CATERING SHED" Application Number: BLD201606818 Description: CATERING SHED Code: BUILDING Class: RETAIL/DINING/SERVICES Work: CONSTRUCT Lodged: 24/05/2016
  10. I thought the same as you too. When I saw the photo of the ride I thought the circle was an extra and was hoping they would not include it in the MW ride. The angle of the top mount and what it is connecting is what has changed my mind. I also believe the reason why it will be constructed latter is to allow ease of build around the motor & gearbox area. I like what they have done with the arms so far and think it already looks better than the one in the photo. As long as the keep it going throughout the rest of the ride I think MW might have pulled it off. For other people who don't follow me or haven't seen the connection points I am talking about. 1. Connection to column 2. Bracing connection point back to main column. 3. Blue arrows is the twist and loads getting put back into the foundation.
  11. It's a bit hard to go off a picture at the moment and I'm no engineer. To me it looks like the circle is used to help transfer some of the load down the centre column. Also it also looks like it braces the top of the motor by locking it into the bottom of the column.
  12. If you look at the bottom half of the pole on each side you can see where something will connect. If you look at the top, it looks like something will connect there also.
  13. Did I quote you? Good reason to become part of the crew @Wyncenuros I can edit all day. I saw a concrete truck on the way to work. The back of the truck was mixing 1 part cement, 1 part sand and 2 part gravel. It was heading to Movie World.
  14. When did your friend see it driving down the road? Was it yesterday or 18 months ago?
  15. I'm with you Brad. I would rather see DW not spend money on it. It was crap. It was rough and short. The first half of the ride, nothing happens. It only had a couple of small drops then it takes a few sharp corners at the end. At least when it first opened the first part of the ride did something. (But that track is long gone) It reminds me of the motor coaster except in reverse. The motor coaster starts with a small punch then after that you just what to get off.
  16. Roller Coasters can be found at carnivals. Big ones too. Olympia That would mean next year Movie World are getting another carnival ride.
  17. They seem to be having a few problems installing the ride. When the tower went up I saw them lifting the motors up. The next day the motors where sitting in the pit and sat there for weeks. The arms where being installed yesterday and now the arm is back down on the ground. Is it really a carnival ride like people have said because to me you can erect a carnival ride in a couple of days? I do like the effort move world have put into the colours.
  18. I hope we do get a second train and maybe with all the bad reviews MW received at Christmas, just maybe MW are trying to do something about it.
  19. need I say more. I think I forgot to say thank you. "Thank you"
  20. That's not what we wanted. We wanted 2016 Movie World.
  21. @Spottyare you saying that a full train and a half built train was on track at the same time? (sorry I'm a bit slow & I don't mean the half train was moving around on track) I believe what you are saying. I can only see enough wheels for one train in the photos. I think we need a 2016 Movie World topic like the DW one. But as @AlexBpointed out I am too lazy to create.
