I thought the same as you too. When I saw the photo of the ride I thought the circle was an extra and was hoping they would not include it in the MW ride. The angle of the top mount and what it is connecting is what has changed my mind. I also believe the reason why it will be constructed latter is to allow ease of build around the motor & gearbox area. I like what they have done with the arms so far and think it already looks better than the one in the photo. As long as the keep it going throughout the rest of the ride I think MW might have pulled it off. For other people who don't follow me or haven't seen the connection points I am talking about. 1. Connection to column 2. Bracing connection point back to main column. 3. Blue arrows is the twist and loads getting put back into the foundation.

Eureka Mountain Mine Ride reopening discussion
New display name replied to rappa's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I'm with you Brad. I would rather see DW not spend money on it. It was crap. It was rough and short. The first half of the ride, nothing happens. It only had a couple of small drops then it takes a few sharp corners at the end. At least when it first opened the first part of the ride did something. (But that track is long gone) It reminds me of the motor coaster except in reverse. The motor coaster starts with a small punch then after that you just what to get off. -
They seem to be having a few problems installing the ride. When the tower went up I saw them lifting the motors up. The next day the motors where sitting in the pit and sat there for weeks. The arms where being installed yesterday and now the arm is back down on the ground. Is it really a carnival ride like people have said because to me you can erect a carnival ride in a couple of days? I do like the effort move world have put into the colours.

need I say more. I think I forgot to say thank you. "Thank you"

That's not what we wanted. We wanted 2016 Movie World.

@Spottyare you saying that a full train and a half built train was on track at the same time? (sorry I'm a bit slow & I don't mean the half train was moving around on track) I believe what you are saying. I can only see enough wheels for one train in the photos. I think we need a 2016 Movie World topic like the DW one. But as @AlexBpointed out I am too lazy to create.

I did see them pull the trains apart and I'm with Alexb. It’s normally practice for the parks to send the parts out to get them refurbished. The wheel system was still sitting in the park the other day and I believe idiot facebook page had a photo of it. Side note idiot facebook did not say new trains he said new seats.

Yes it is true I am lazy but it would only take 1 person to do it and your 831 would be no more. I know at least 3 that would. If we has a system that for every 10 likes you could only do 1 unlike would protect your 831 likes but if you really say a dumb ass comment then I have a dislike to smack you with.

Nope POP did now. To be fair I was asking for everybody to dislike the post. Just wanted to prove the dislike think does not really work because it will be abused by all. POP is going to get a dislike no matter what his say which is funny but really screws the whole system up. If I cared about the like system I could dislike other people’s post just to move me up. I think a like should be worth more than a dislike. If I had a fight with AlexB I could go back to everything he has said and dislike all his post. I don’t think I’m mature enough to control myself.

I have grabbed some of the comment people are leaving about the accident. “These rides are also not safe in India” “Secondly, Trials are done only to find these issues which happened as before they go to public, in any case, rail, fun ride of anything, in Trial runs, they are pushed to their limit and in cases beyond limit to that edge line to make sure all is ok and working as desired. This accident is the very reason for which trials are done to avoid public loss. The workers are those men who build and possible was supposed to operate the machine so they knew what they are doing. I would credit the builder for proper trial run to break the machine and save possible accident on actual public operation.” “Why is no one wearing over-the-shoulder safety belt? Management should install safety belts” “It was not employees who took part in the trial, it was all poor teens from nearby area” I like the one where it was ok because nobody from the public was hurt. Sounds like India don’t have any test dummies for the testing of rides so they get people off the street.

I don't think you are understanding what I'm getting at. I do like the idea and think it was a great idea to incorporate the stairs. It would not have cost them anymore money to get it right. I’m would be pretty sure the brief/idea would have been to make the stairs look like a fire escape to a building. I think they forgot about the doors. Which is what makes it look worst. A door to god. A door to a window. They might be applying a sticker over the doors latter on to match them in. It’s like the big downpipe coming out of the tree. I hoping there is more to come on this too and they will be turning it into the trunk of the tree. I’m only being picky because MW went to so much trouble to do it right and I believe they have been left down.
