  1. I think people might need to lower their expectations if they believe if they believe Jungle Rush will be as intense as Leviathan from what we have seen. The height of the first hill looks similar to a Vekoma Family Boomerang which has a top speed of 58kph. In comparison Leviathan has a top speed of 80kph. I think this JR will sit somewhere between 60kph & 70kph. DW’s press release said - “experience to everyone from younger generations to grandma and grandad”.
  2. The lighting package on Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris Wheel is great.
  3. By the look of the track, the coaster will have a few snappy elements.
  4. The location of the Southern Star doomed it from the start. As long as the purchase of the wheel, is viable theme park attraction and not reliant on a up-charge to operate, I can't see many issues. For example, if the Dreamworld markets were to close, the Dreamworld Flyer would still make sense for the park.
  5. I could be wrong but it looks like they are holding off on installing the last bit of track while they need crane access.
  6. I like you your idea and MW should try and minimise the amount of time the ride is closed again. That is good news and hopefully we find out about the best Aussie ride, SM.
  7. I can't remember MW ever doing a stage fit-out, can you? DW did it with the kids zone but I don't recall MW doing one.
  8. I want to get a new pass but in my book, Rivals has to go down again to finish its maintenance and SM is about to get a fit-out. 🤷‍♂️
  9. Does this mean SM will go down again this year for the fit-out or did MW tell us about the fit-out to pump up their own tyres because MW was getting bashed by customers?
  10. That's great news @themagician The conspiracy theorist within me always wonders, how the broken part, turns up the week before school holidays. 🤔 But that is for another day. Today I am just happy, MW are testing the best ride in Australia.
  11. No, If you do a google search for PICO. Results: 1. PICO GLOBAL 2. PICO (financial company) 3. PICO (a leading VR company (so they say))ny 4. PICO Australia 5. PICO TECHNOLOGY I have to go down to result 16 before I see Pico Play. Parkz forums reaches further then just enthusiast, who know these things and the non-enthusiast would have trouble if they wanted to know who PICO are but would have no problems finding out what you were talking about if you just said Vekoma with google. Case closed. //s
  12. My plan was to make you cry @Ashley Jeffery and it worked.
  13. I didn't ask who Pico Play was, I asked who Pico was. Turns out, they are they same thing.
  14. @themagicianThere are many places you could install the thing, but just to mention a few- 1. close to the future broadwater boardwalk. 2.On top of the back of house buildings. 3. Current management parking spot. Where the current monorail station is at the front of the park.
  15. During the day, the wheel would run as a standard attraction for park guest.. At night it would operate as a rotating restaurant. The food would be made within one of the existing kitchens and delivered to the wheel. I'll leave what food SW serve up to the park. SW could have a set menu or like what was done in Europe during Covid, on a big wheel, where each gondola had an Ipad in it for food ordering. Can we not do both.
  16. The ride definitely lost its charm, when it was moved to the swamp. On the bright side, no more contracting the ross river virus after a ride.
