My day at Dreamworld on Saturday
stardust replied to JD_bunnies_supporter's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Yeah seriously, WnW is bigger but WWW is way funner, and you actually get to go on more because it's less busy. I agree with you about the log ride/rapids! Although I like the rapids heaps -
Ooh it's hot!! Roller coaster reminded me of ABC so it's cool. Not a fan of parkZ (z) though but meh ^^

Time for Dreamworld to bring in Mr Fix It

I went on Saturday and I was on the ToT when it broke!! We launched and it slowed and we kind of went a bit up, then fell back, then slowly moved back. They relaunched straight away and it went higher than usual. I've seen this happen quite a bit. The log ride is pathetic it needs re-theming. More turbulence on the rapids!! -
Me too... it didn't really hurt me, seriously the pain isn't that bad!
-
You know where the emus are? They have extended across the river, so you walk across and the cars are there. It is by an orchid with like sheep. But anyway, nice scenery but its fenced and the track is flat and they can see you so you can't stop so, boring?

How much do you weigh? no offense meant. But they hurt... but not so much you scream in pain. :S

I took the general one I was the 3rd motorbike from the front, on the left A few points: -Your legs don't really cramp up you just feel uncomfortable because you can't move them. I sat way too far fowards and I have long legs so it was very tight but not crampy. Not fat btw, my bmi says i'm underweight - I think it is a really fun ride, nothing on the thrill of the GD but still fun -I thought they themed it well but they had 1 train not on and the people did look panicky and confused -Churros were you 3rd, I was 4th I would have seen you -this guy who said "We were the first to go on the public opening on sunday at 10:00am. The cornering was awesome and gave you a chance to relax around the fast speeds without falling off. BRAD, 24, QLD " might be lying, it opened WAY after 10am -

When I went today the mine ride area has a gift shop in there looking pretty established but we did ask the people and whoever said above is correct, they are aiming to have it open by the end of the year. The people seemed to think that was unlikely though.

Omg I rode it today!! I was on the 4th ride of the day, once we got to line up it took 10 minutes, quick as and with only 1 train running but they didn't open it til 10:40 because of problems or something. Good how they have separate lines for sidecares/front/middle seats. It is so exciting though it does hurt your legs. The second half is basically like the rugrats rollercoaster though. -

Omg sorry i don't mean that! I meant I didn't think the reason was because the rain hurt, but more for safety!! That's why I said they run the claw in the rain and that hurts. -

Sorry if this has been posted. Ladies and Gentlemen Start Your Engines! Dreamworld is “Doohan” it like it’s never been done before and is getting set to take motobike racing to the skies. In September 2007, Dreamworld will launch the hottest thrill ride to hit the coast this decade pushing adrenaline junkies to a brand new level. Five time, 500cc World Champion and World Record Holder, Mick Doohan will launch his very own thrill ride at Dreamworld this year allowing guests to get behind the handlebars on a circuit that has to be seen to be believed. “I’m extremely proud to be associated with a great Australian icon working on a venture that celebrates and pays respect to a great Australian sport and its achievements,” Mick Doohan said. Mick Doohan’s Motocoaster features a fast, fluid track with breath taking changes in elevation, high speed corners and plenty of quick left handers. It’s a motorbike rollercoaster, the first of its kind in Australia and the only motocoaster in the world featuring life-size replicas of 500cc racing bikes. Get ready for hard acceleration as Dreamworld blasts further up the thrill ride ladder with Mick Doohan’s massive Motocoaster this September. -

Okai thanks for the answer 5 words hehehehe -
Bananas!!! I loved that show! Anyway saying rustic aussie makes me think of how travis (bb) is the typical aussie bloke. so then if people say something is aussie i go off it. i voted i do not mind. though I have been to disneyland and they had different worlds as well, forestly, kiddy, spacey, different areas. i do prefer that. but i don't want a run down park.
