  1. Hey dreamworld_ride_op, do you have red hair? Because when me and my friend go to DW, always we see a girl with red hair operating rides. And it would be funny if it was you. I have a question, do the people that do the slimetime shows and the other 1, do they operate rides as well or do they just do shows?
  2. Woah at the GD Dreamworld ride op.. do you know if DW are planning on using the island for anything? near the new coaster etc
  3. Yeah... wish they'd fix the chairlift, it was scary! hehe
  4. But it said , a yr to DW and 3:30 off peak to WWW. thats a reason I got my year pass!
  5. Good in summer! I think cuz the drop is the best bit, the ride around is dead boring and not themed.
  6. It is depressing to read that like, DW is fine to me, now I will notice faults. I know it no differently I moved here in 2003. It seems good to me. Mainly.disneyland has a more special feel though.
  7. It is actually a good bargain! Think: (in terms of adults) $185 for a 1 year pass to DW. $254 for a TWO year pass to DW and WWW. So in you do $254 - $185 you get $69. That means if you pay for 1 regular year @ DW, you then get 2 free years at WWW and a $69 extra year at DW. Pretty cheap compared to the year pass, and entry to MW is $64 for only 1 day. MW is $80 you say (and it is actually $99 I just checked) ... If we include Wnw for them.. then 2 years would be $198. + for 2 years annual pass to Wnw as well it would be an extra... $198 as well. So that is $396 for them. $254 for DW. Bargain.. I think so Ps all prices gathered from the sites http://www.wetnwild.com.au/tickets/tickets.cfm#3 http://www.movieworld.com.au/tickets/tickets.cfm
  8. OO how cool! Yeah stuff like this is awesome! In england we went to this place which was themed and has indoor pools and slides and huge adventure layground and fake ski/ taboggan slopes
  9. Hey we actually did this for physics, the time is: 2.92 seconds Could be slightly over though lol Need angles as well?
  10. When does the GD run with 6 people? It's always both sides when I see it
  11. Well... I don't know why people think DW lines are so bad. I went with school 2 weeks ago, got on TOT first go, like 20 people in the line. Giant drop was a 10 minute wait. Cyclone we got on 2nd go. Rapids was a 5 minute wait, at around 12-1 it was a 10 minute wait. Longest line was log ride which was about 12 minutes. At chrsitmas is the busiest time but not that bad. The rest of the year is fine! OO I'm quoted, *famous* hahaha
  12. River rapids was closed early 2007 (march?) for annual mantainence. Dunno bout the other times.
  13. What is rocky hollow? I like the animal place. And nick IS good. Ocean parade is old but good. The gold rush would be awesome but needs another ride now eureka is gone.
  14. Even if the claw was only 6 million, it is still a good ride with good capacity. I say that and I don't even like the claw it makes me sick! (well it's ok , i did my first time last week haha) Dreamworld is my fave park, not just thrill rides, not just boring rides aka sea world, but all rides. they have BB. bad things though, closure of rides with no replacement. and theming. such as the log ride. it needs themeing!
  15. OO cool haha travis! That would be cool to have those tix did u buy em?
  16. Well I don't know if it is true that is what he said. And I said people online think that is really bad, and he said yeah it's a shame it was a good ride etc.
  17. I heard from dreamworld staff they are aiming for a october opening.
  18. OOOOOOo I have news! I talked to the big brother security guard... he said the ride is a fire hazard, and that they are still undecided what to do with it but it will not re open 98% sure.
  19. Nice pics! I won't bother with my camera tomorrow then
