The train line could go underground? So they think they would rebuild the line? (or the rise the land around it?
-
Disney's train has ALWAYS been a loop around the park. Not a GOVT. owned train that would go straight thru the park? The Queensland Govt. would have to have access to the line 24/7 and I can't see disney having a 10 metre gap on both sides of the track, along with enough head room to support power lines. Also, don't forgot, big cranes need to go in to build the upgrade that's headed for the GC line, and Disney would need to have nothing on the top of the line. Also, who the hell is SoulVision? I did a Google search and nothing came up. EDIT: Also, I found it funny that you managed to understand WWW_WORKER's post...haha you're very smart. It takes me about 5min mostly to work out when one sentence ends and begins.

Aren't we getting a little ahead of our selfs?
-
I was told not to say parks, though it wasn't Disney. And I'm not saying what I heard was correct, but what the person told me was that Disney was not going into Australia within 5-10 years.
-
I'm not real sure though got the idea that it was a large US group. It can't see Disney setting up in Australia in the near future. Sorry, I just can't...
-
I've heard from people that there's talk of a new park, though it's not Disney. I'd watch out for a different US company thinking of setting up here.
-
No...Wild West burgers is the most pricey I've found.
-
Oh, then that's a idea

I agree with Gazza on this one. I wouldn't like to see three Batman's, or three Shreks. And yeah, everyone would want to get photos. In an evacuation, I couldn't see a giant Shrek being much help... Also, wouldn't their vision be impaired with the costumes? If so, that's a problem in its own... EDIT: I think he is saying that because LW is themed to a car chase.
-
Yeah, It's another media "beat-up". It's not going to happen anytime soon. Don't believe anything until Disney release the information officially.
-
A stunt show like L,M,A stunt show would be good if they just added a story line to it and cut out the "filming" bit.
-
Let's look at the cost of the new show. I believe they will be totally re-building the area to cope with heavy moto-stunts. I would personally like the area to be themed like the stunt show in Paris, but with a totally new story line.
-
If that happens, I ask them to wash their hands, put on a fresh pair of gloves and start again. If they don't, I walk away. Back on topic: I think there's always going to be mixed feelings about this, but, Dreamworld's food is far from good in my eyes and something needs to change. Hey...I didn't see one fresh fruit store at Dreamworld? Don't they sell them like Movie World?
-
Though I don't want to get into a debate about fast food, I just want to say that you can't fat count every day, and I'd much rather have some fat that's in fresh rolls, rather then Deep fried stuff. Hey, Subway is MUCH better then the deep fried chips and fish and Dreamworld. And those Chicken drumsticks...ew The food at Dreamworld is, IMO, is not much better then the EKKA's food.
-
Well, I guess we need to agree-to-disagree on the Maccas idea. What about a subway or even a Subway style place owned by Dreamworld with FRESH food and prices that aren't through the roof. Though I'd rather pay a few extra bucks for some fresh food.
-
I agree that all theme parks are pricey, but Movie World's food also seemed a lot better quality then Dreamworld's and I wasn't left with a sick feeling in my gut. Also, I know maccas may be worse then theme park food, but I don't get the sick feeling after maccas that I had when I went to Dreamworld. I'd happlly pay a few bucks more for some GOOD food. (though I don't want the all-you-can-eat because a lot of food and rides don't mix)
-
Yeah, When I went to Dreamworld I thought how silly the prices were. The food is also crappy deep-fried stuff too which doesn't taste good. I think they should do what the US parks do and open a Maccas or even better, Subway - though I cannot see them doing this.

I do agree with you there. I cannot believe my eyes when I read it but it's on their site so we know it's true. About the hippos... I think people would visit them because they're weird and different. I know I'd look at them because I've never seen them before. -
Isn't that like a stool in the sun?

Yep. Did the old owners release this much information about future rides? -

He grabbed the un-edited copy from me off msn. The information can be found on WVTP's website. -

I've got a HUGE picture of Disneyland map. It's about 1 metre by 1 metre. I think it's the map from 1992. It's very cool. Though nothing to do with themeing. Not really anything to do with themeing, but just shows the classic themes of the maps.
