Why not a B&M stand up similar to Riddlers, except with better capacity.
-
I can't be bothered with a quote tag, but this Goboi person said that parks around Sydney have never been up to scratch. Thats a lie, Wonderland was lots popular when it first opened and for a long time after that.

A dueling woodie. Not to unsimilar (I don't think thats a word) to Collosus at SFMM. I've always loved the look of that ride...

What would you like to see happen to the Bush Beast?
Nebuchanezzar replied to Wonderbuzz's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Not only that but the fact that you'd have to carefully unscrew every bolt holding all that wood and metal together, stick it on a truck and move it up there, screw it all back in and make sure it holds. And in the end, that'd be too expensive I reckon. -
Argh! none of that answers my main question! The plant life and buildings as in building buildings in RCT3! Whats it like?
-
Well perhaps it is just the pictures that I've been looking at but in all of these pics I see, I can only Identify one type of tree that they have been using for every picture I see. There is no other plantlife. And there is also a lack of buildings and original queue areas. It almost looks like its RCT1 in 3D, hardly any options for good themeing. Is there any idea if there will be better opportunities for themeing in the final version?

Why not just shove in a Moveit32 somewhere in Dreamworld. Stick it in Ocean Parade and name it the Water Spout, Hurricane or something unoriginal.

Well, heres my plan. Go visit B&M and get em to design a Kumba-Esque ride to fit into the Thunderbolts old place, perhaps a bit bigger (the bigger the better after all). Colour it Turquoise & Red, just like Kumba, or another colour combo like that. Of course this Kumba-esque ride will employ the same style of trains as Kumba, none of that floorless coaster bull crap here thanks. Next, once its done, don't strcitly 'theme' it, rather landscape it. Landscape it so its almost like a terrain coaster (not an intensive landscaping like Nemesis, that'd cost too much) and the lower sections go inbetween grass covered hills with some palm trees and maybe some Pines, iuno, I'll leave it up to them. As for the name, beats me. Latin sounds cool, name it something Latin.

What to do with the Bush Beast. Hell, why not sell off buts of timber to amusement junkies for a high price. And then sell the rest to normal people for a lower price. That way they can rip us off... And here I was thinking that over-use of capitol letters was a big no-no here... -
New Coaster Topples Dragster's Crown

Oooh, Imagine a camelback (inversion) that big. Ahh heavenly. -
lol. Virgin on prom night. On the height issue, my point was that no-one complained about the Big Dippers height, it was the noisyness of it that offended the jerk residents. I've never heard how noisy it is in the wet, but as for the screaming teens, then surely they could petition for every ride there to be shut down, cause people scream on all the rides dont they?
-
Excellent. I have 4 Hyper Railsa roller coasters that I'll upload later. Sure some of the transitions are a tad bumpy (I made it so the bumpiness is almost unoticeable), but everything else is good. I also tend to go a little overboard with the thickness of the supports...X style, if you know what I mean (support City)
-
Ooooh I wanted to smash that stupid siren up good when I went there. Pity I didnt have some sort of smashing utensil.
-
Indeed. I doubt that any people who are eager to say peoples "Privates swinging around" will see much. Sure they'll have big lights, but It'll still be night time. I wouldnt get your hopes up.

New Coaster Topples Dragster's Crown

I don't think theres any limits. As long as the ascent isn't too, er rapid (as in too many G's) or the launch isn't too fast (as in Linear G's) then they can go as high and fast that they want. Atmosphere permitting. -
Complaints? what for? its not as noisy as the Ranger that they have now, the size isn't an issue (cause the Big Dipper was way bigger, bulkier and what not than Bounty's Revenge).
-
Indeed it would. They could hide it behind another little area I guess, but why bother when there are so many other better looking (and fun) rides aout there.
-
Yeah, all the residents should be hung drawn and quartered, or something to make them be quiet. Whoa, if thats true they must be pretty darn annoyed. To march all the way down there from their fancy apartment complexes, into Luna Park where the noise must be a lot louder than up in their rooms, and then go and make even more noise by yelling at the friendly operators. Seems a bit ironic eh? And lastly, its not an Immelan turn, its an Immelmann turn, named after the WWI or WWII pilot, or sometime around then, who supposedly invented this type of move I beleive.

Whinge whinge whinge. All you do is whinge. If a Six Flags theme park opened here (which I doubt) and it had tonnes of brilliantly designed rides in it, all you'd do is whinge. It is your right to whinge, but by god, be thankful that you got some nice theme parks up there in Queensland. All I got down here in Sydney is Luna Park. And all them peoples in N.Z. have is, well, I dunno, I dont take much notice of what they have over there.
-
Or perhaps have queue guarders everywhere, It'd be a low paying job, but whenever they see someone jump the queue, they can make a lot of noise, and attempt to pull em out. If they're bad mannered disobediant teenagers, they can have a nightstick and beat the people that disobey their orders. Or something of that nature anyway.
-
"This ride can be extreme - it can pull twice the force of gravity, like a jet fighter experience" Yeah right buddy. 2G's? try a couple more, then your on track.
-
What were the problems with the Flying Dutchmans? They seem to be operating nicely now arent they? And also, let it be known that I dont hate Vekoma, I mean, any roller coaster/ride better than no roller coaster/ride.
-
Sure, Vekoma could do well, if they changed their designs (which I heard they had), but how do you explain the widespread idea that Vekomas rides are rough, and unreliable. That cant all be drawn down to lack of care on behalf of hundreds of theme parks worldwide can it?
-
The Space Probe, nah, it;d get in their way. I have a question, whats an "Imellan Turn"? It sounds like a retarded version of an Immleman. What is it?
-
Yeah, I understand that much, as you'd expect, I aint that dumb. But the track up there must stil be pretty heavy, and it looks as if it has a bulky catwalk on it as well, the supports just dont look like they do it justice. Nice explanation though.
