Hi guys, I just thought it would be interesting to find out peoples opinions on where the Aqualoop will be placed. Some options in the poll might not be even available for the size of the area or landscaping (the hill behind bucanneer bay) but I put them in anyway. Also if you would like me to add another possibility, feel free to ask. Cheers

I reckon the new website looks awesome. Absolutely a huge improvement on the old one. I think myfun will have to redesign theirs to keep up.

Thats fair enough, I know you would have put it in your post if you thought it was important, just adding further information to the topic.

I actually just read that this morning on TPR. Should be an exciting coaster with lots of theming . Also I don't think you mentioned that it is being branded as a world first psychoaster, which affects you emotionally as well as physically. Th13teen should also be a contendor with saw:the ride. 2010 should be an interesting year.

Hey guys, I thought I should give you a review of my experience at the park last night. First of all I got there at 5:40 and the gates were already open. As soon as I got in I headed to Superman (of course). There was about a fifteen minute queue which wasn't too bad. By the time I got to the gates just about to board the queue had filled up so much that it was using pretty much all of the switchbacks and I would guess that it would be over an hour wait. By the way they only had one train running. After that we headed to the batwing. By this time the park was dark and had all the effects running. There was a lot of smoke machines through the park and heaps of smoke filled the park, almost to the point that you ran into garden beads and people. Anyway I waited about 35mins at the batwing and it was great in the dark. Next was the lethal weapon which took 45mins and was incredible. There was no lights on so you could barely even see the track. By this time it was just after 8:00. Since we wanted to check out the Bloody moto x show at 8:30, we went to a maze to fill in some time. We went to the Fun House first, which had a 20min queue. I have to say there was absolutely nothing scary about this maze. It was still enjoyable because it had cool things in there such as SPOILER ALERT There was a bubble machine that produced so many bubbles that you had to walk through that your clothes and shoes were soaked, had pool noodles stuck to the roof to walk through. Two big air bags that you had to kind of climb through (definitely not for the claustrophobic) and of course strobe lights. Then we checked out moto x, which was absolutely insane. If you haven't seen freestyle motocross before I definitely recommend it. These guys did incerdible stunts. After that we did the other three mazes. The Bedlam manor had a 25min queue and had some really good theming inside, but was really short and seemed lame because it wasn't scary at all. Then we did the Zombie Kill Zone which you have to pay an extra 5 dollars for. It is like laser skirmish where the humans verse movie world staff that are zombies. The game lasted for fifteen minutes and was probably worth the five dollars. After that we went to Dragon Alley which didn't disappoint. The queue was massive in the earlier evening but was a walk on by the time we got there. This maze was truly scary because it was very dark, had fake snakes on the walls that touched your legs and arms, things coming off the roof, loud bangs, bodybags, freaky looking guys, many things coming off the walls that you could barely see, but felt them, strobe lights and gory things on the walls. I would have not wanted to do this going at the front. I would completely crap myself. Overall the night was well worth the ten dollars. The atmosphere was great and the queues weren't too big. Like other people said that the only bad thing was the lack of actors on the street and the ones that were there only stood there and had no expressions on there face instead of actually scaring people. Sorry about the long post, just thought I'd give you an in depth review of the mazes and queue times Cheers Intamin

I went to whitewater world today and when I was driving home at about 5:30, I decided to check out what Movieworld looked like. When I was there I saw the main entrance, which looked quite good and there was a couple of smoke machines there. They had projectors on the roof of main street and bats and spiders everywhere. I also managed to pick up a park map. I am going next week by the way, that's why I did this mainly. They opened the gates at 5:45, so remember to get there early if your going. In the map it shows all the mazes that are there which include Fun House, Dragon Alley, Bedlam Manor and Zombie kill zone. There are the two lives shows Bloody Moto X and Les damned De Burlesque and a movie where Shrek 4d is called nightmare house. On the map it doesn't label any of the WB kids zone attractions, so I assume they won't be open. I hope this clears a few things up about the nights, I hope you enjoy it if you are going. Please Note: The guy I got the map off said it may change in the later weeks because this is their first night they may want to redo some things. Intamin

Did any of the rides or attractions at any park in Australia close yesterday because of the sand storm; especially in LPS? By the way I'm going to Dreamworld today, but it already looks like it's cleared up.

So did they say that it is going to be on the Gold Coast? I didn't quite understand

Hi guys. I would just like to hear your opinions of what you believe is the best ride in the world. Please state why you like it the most. I personally have not been to any parks overseas, so my favourite ride would have to be Giant Drop because of the exhillerating drop and the superman escape because of the epic launch and airtime hills. Cheers

I really liked it. Definitely Wild West Falls is the best one for me. I know its hard to do in rct3 but superman escape didn't look that good in my opinion. Overall well done.

Yesterday I went to Dreamworld and went to the motocoaster first. I looked over at the TOT track and the car was stopped right at the end of the track before it goes up the tower. Some engineers got on the track and had a steel wire with a hook attached. They had trouble attaching it, but finally put it on. Then they slowly pulled (not by hand) it back to the station at about 3km/h. It did not have a test run until 12:30 and wasn't open until just after 1:00. Apart from that it was a very good day at Dreamworld. No other rides broke down and there wasn't many queues for school holidays. P.S. Motocoaster had two trains, Giant Drop had two sides, and AVPX had two briefing rooms running (although it took about 35mins still)

I reckon the track looks good. I hope this is the new number one coaster. Giga coasters are the best. INTAMIN RULES

Thats awesome. I like the scenry inside the building. I'm a rct3 fan but I can't do sweet things like you do. Keep doing what your doing, I enjoy seeing your park updates. Would you be able to zoom out so we can see the whole park. I'd like to see all your rides in one shot.

Cedar Point is the best!! Has the second best roller coaster in the world, second fastest and all in between It is rated the number 1 theme park for a very good reason Don't get me wrong I still love SFMM American themeparks rock.

wheres the thread

Can someone post some photos please

A wood coaster would be too much like the cyclone e.g rickety and big dips, just without the drop.
-
If you were CEO of Dreamworld what roller coaster and which thrill ride would you put in. Explain why. Personnaly I would add a good coaster such as an Intamin/B&M. Something tall and fast. At least something to compare with Superman Escape. I would also put in an intamin bungee tower.
