Here's another coaster that just opened. Its a Zierer family coaster called Polar X-Plorer at Legoland Billund. It features a vertical drop track section like Thirteen and Verbolten. Looks pretty fun!

Surely a bit of leg pain isn't as bad as getting brain damage from the old restraints?

Arkham Asylum: Shock Therapy (Lethal Weapon Retheme)

I agree, rides shouldn't be painful whatsoever. -
This really does remind me of Nemesis: Sub Terra...
-
It could be a dark ride based around prehistoric sea creatures.
-
This is a bit out there and is just a strange idea, but what if it had something to do with Sea Viper, maybe this is the Sea Viper's egg, and the ride can be to do with that? It sounds stupid, but a similar thing was done in Alton Towers with the Nemesis: Sub Terra dark ride which was based around the egg of "Nemesis" (one of their coasters themed to some monster). Like I said, just an idea.

I think they kind of stuffed up by having Shockwave in both thrill and family, it was likely an accident IMO. Its most definitely a family ride though.

Shambhala is testing. It seems slow but hopefully itll "break in" and get faster.
-
That sure is interesting. It's hard to imagine what type of launch coaster it'll be with a giant loop like that. Maybe an Intamin accelerator/blitz coaster? Or possibly a Premier launcher.

I havent had any audio on any of my 4 rides.
-
The story made me lol to be honest. Can't imagine that one night some guy just turned to his friend, beer in hand and said: "Mate. Let's steal a penguin."
-
The front is the best IMO for the view on the drop. I hate that my resistance for coasters is for some reason getting lower, not sure if I was just having a bad day but I was feeling really dizzy on the first drop on every ride, never happened before. I was also blacking out like crazy on Superman, though Ive come to accept that as part of the ride lol. The right side on green lantern sure is terrifying on the outwards turn. I felt myself deathgrip the restraint at that point.

That really is great to hear, as I actually did rate Lethal Weapon as a 3/10. -

I cant believe I'm saying this, but the new Vekoma trains look better than the KumbaKs. But at least the KumbaK ones are 100000 times better than the old Vekoma trains. -
It shut down late 2010 for no real reason, though they say its being replaced. However it seems its just sitting there to rot.

Technically just saying POV is incorrect and vague. There are on ride POV's and off ride POV's. As you said it just means point of view. -

They seem to be saying its their own. Either they stole it from Movieworld or Movieworld used theirs as the official POV. -

Woo, mounted POV! And the name Arkham Asylum Shock Therapy really seemed like it was thrown together at the last minute, it sounds terrible, and now I think they kind of regret that. By the way speaking of the website, has anyone noticed that weird video on the Scooby Doo page? It goes for less than a second, not sure what happened when they uploaded that. I do love the POV of Superman, I haven't noticed it until now. However, in true Movieworld style, the video cuts off before the end of the POV. Oh little 16 year old that manages the website, you so silly. -

Superman can be a bit rough in the back seat, but nothing to extreme. Not enough to spoil the ride experience at least. And I really hope they get the flooded staircase working again, that was my favorite effect in the dark ride section. -

Except their churros. I never eat at theme parks as I'm too busy riding the rides. But I always have time for Movieworld's churros. -
Yeah I saw that, makes me want to cry when an awesome coaster is treated that way.
-
Well that was necessary. Normal people may notice theres a smaller red coaster underneath it.

What did dippin dots guy say? -
For anyone interested in Portaventura's B&M hyper coaster, Shambhala (which seems to be just me) here's an arial photo of the track layout (its obviously the large silver coaster). I love the figure 8 banked turnaround helix thing, looks insane. Believe me when I say it craps all over Leviathan now?

I've said it before, the marketing department of our theme parks (mainly Village Roadshow, not so much Dreamworld) is really atrocious.
