  1. Yeah that's what you were seeing, the floats. I saw them all sitting behind WWF as I was evacuated from the ride once.
  2. Even those little pouches that they have overseas. I couldn't believe how amazed I was at a little pouch when I saw it ? It just makes so much sense!
  3. It says 'a monstrous looping ride'. My guess is a Larson SuperLoop? Six flags have installed a lot of these lately! This is just a guess though, there are heaps of rides that loop. ?
  4. World of Colour at CA doesn't have a human element does it? Im sure others could mention other shows that don't have a human element but it's still a fantastic show. I don't think you NEED a human element?
  5. If they do Beatbox again next Summer (which they should because it was an awesome show), they should scrap the 'DJ' and focus everything on their lights & effects.
  6. I thought the Roller Coaster was coming next year? Does New Years fall on September this year?
  7. I think it has although we just aren't used to seeing the stage like that with that big tree gone.
  8. Yeah if they do end up using it for the ride, I hope they utilise that building well. Have an awesome pre section of the ride before the lift hill, launch or whatever it turns out to be. I'm pretty sure a lot of people on here love dark rides, including myself. I was only saying that comment as a joke, because we all know how much Push loves his dark rides hahaha Their last attraction (besides Driving School) was Justice League, which is a dark ride.. So you normally don't see b2b dark rides at one park unless you're at Disney or Universal.
  9. Its definitely not a family coaster if it says on RCDB its 'Extreme', right? Has to be something bigger and more intense than that. For some reason I've always thought a wing rider coaster or a dive coaster would be a big drawing card. In the GP's eyes it would look insane to them. I haven't ridden either but I've heard that they aren't as intense as they look.
  10. Yeah nah I agree haha they are a lot of fun! Transformers is my favourite Although they do cost a bit if you want a really well themed awesome ride.
  11. A flat would be nice, although there must be a reason why they don't put in many flats. It must be the direction they would like the park to go in? Six Flags MM has hardly any flats and its still a great park. Also, if the GP saw a flat & then a coaster, most would pick the coaster.
  12. Hmmm.. Maybe Hyper is an account made by Movie World which has been used to tell us in code what the ride will be I see.. I see. hahahaha
  13. Maybe? Could they be changing the theme in that area? Then theme the ride & a new show around that theme? Or would it be too close to the western area?
  14. I think Cobra's Curse is a worlds best Spinning Coaster. Well.. It spins for half of it ? Although, it is a family ride & Movie World just got a family ride.
  15. Exciting! Thanks for the pictures @Hypermarket Hero If that rumour is true & it turns out to be a Mack, what coaster would it be? Mega? Launch? Spinning? Has anyone experienced one of these & how was it?
  16. Totally agree. The ones I had were crispy & had a great seasoning. I just call fries, chips haha. I should have said FRIES, sorry. I guess they do look like Maccas fries, however looks & taste are a big difference. Also, not sure if it is just me.. but i prefer the long crispy fries rather than the thicker chips haha Heard Movie World were using it for their new Dark Ride they are getting!
  17. Yes! Have been there and it was well worth it ?? I went to The Flying Cock last night in Fortitude Valley. It came with a massive serve of chips & sauce. $18 for the lot. @joz This is what the chips should look like ??
  18. No they don't come with ketchup, they come with all different kinds of sauces. From Chur Burger & Ze Pickles Menu. Some me places chips must be purchased as a side and some other places they come with the burger.
  19. Haha yeah I guess it is a bit pointless in the metal basket. They also had regular fries in the basket & sweet potato fries in the basket which I thought was kind of weird. Other burger places I've been to you can choose if you want regular or sweet potato. Also.. they didn't even serve sauce with the chips Anyway, the burger was the main part of the meal and it didn't disappoint! I haven't tried Dreamworlds burgers lately so I must do that when I go next
  20. The last time I visited the parks we did half a day at Movie World then half a day at Sea World. Instead of buying food at the park, on the way to Sea World we stopped off for a quick burger at Obsessions on Chevron. The burger was $16.50 and was very tasty. When ordering my burger, I always ask for Medium Rare as that's how I like my meat cooked. You should always ask them to cook it how you want it cooked because it isnt always going to be cooked how you like it. I really would love to sit down at one of the parks and have a nice burger, however the burgers at the parks at the moment aren't all that great. I remember a few years back when we ate burgers from Movie World we used to joke around saying they used ibis meat in their burgers ?. If I had to choose between paying ~$15 for a burger meal at Movie World or travel to get a ~$15 burger & chips meal at a burger joint, I would travel. If the parks brought in a decent juicy burger for a price between $15 - $25 I'd happily stay at the park & eat there.
