  1. The mazes in the Soundstages are always amazing but I feel like the Show Stage is a bit neglected by the community. They can still put something just as good as the Soundstages in the Show Stage. The first moment I walked past the Hillbilly Slasher junkyard, I had the same reaction as walking up to Herschel's Barn in the Walking Dead.
  2. I would love in the summer holidays if the VRTP parks stayed open a little bit later. As much as I would love them to stay open til 10 if this did happen, it would much more realistically go until about 8 or 9 since they have to be considerate to nearby residents. As for a link between WnW and MW, my dream would be to see a Downtown Disney/ Citywalk type of deal, but would we probably be slumped with just a pathway.
  3. I always found Dreamworld's Western area/s to be all over the place. What is even the point of having Rocky Hollow? Why not just merge Gold Rush Country and Rocky Hollow into one major western area?
  4. Yeah, there is definitely a lot of advertising here in Brisbane. May be different down in Sydney or in other cities but here they are going all out. I was kinda hoping for morse code but we can't always get what we want... ;(
  5. Seeing how popular the VIP Passes and such have been over the past few years, I couldn't exactly see them offering those for a higher price then what they currently are. If anything, I would see the parks adding more up-charge attractions, ramping up the prices for special events (Screamworld, Fright Nights), or just adding more opportunities to spend money in the parks (e.g. more food and beverage, merchandise). It's a real pity because the parks could have some spectacular rides that could be competitive with those overseas but the parks just don't have the capital in order to make a "Twisted Colossus". I agree. I feel like this could all be solved, however, with just teaching ride operators a quicker procedure. That's just my two cents though.
  6. ^Wow. That thumbing looks pretty bloody impressive. I am extremely looking forward to this maze and the Ripper out of all the available mazes.
  7. Seeing how quickly Cannibal Clowns has appeared, it's maze location and how long until opening day, I have very low expectations for Cannibal Clowns. Also, any word on the "Entertainment Precincts" and the shows yet?
  8. The themeing looked really well done. It looks as if most of the scares are concentrated in two main areas, with long gaps in between.
  9. I would really like to know how someone could get into a position in the maze design team, as well as if they have an plans to increase the number of mazes or running dates in the future.
  10. WWF at night would be a logistical nightmare. Having actors on the course wouldn't make it much easier in my opinion. Would be very cool to see, however.
  11. What makes you think about the tent or splitting a soundstage? Have they not started anything in Scooby?
  12. Oh ok. Easy fix. I kinda feel like an idiot now but thats kinda deserved.
  13. Oh! Sorry about that. Took it the wrong way I guess. They're not hot linked on my end, so I dont know whats gone on there.
  14. Fast Track is now available for the rides. It costs $30 and is only available for Green Lantern, Superman Escape and Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster
  15. I dont care whether its old news or brand spanking new. Just thought it might be worth posting since a couple people on here always complain about the perceived lack of advertising
  16. Thats pretty cool that they showed the proper documentation. It's something I always love to have a look at if I'm given the chance
  17. Advertising for Fright Nights has gone into full swing. Nova is having a quiz every morning from 6-9 where the winner receives a free Ultimate Terror Tour, advertisements are being posted in the Gold Coast Bulletin and posters are being put up at Bus Stops. The following are from Theme Park Social Network on Facebook.
  18. There are two separate queues. One to get a licence and ride and on to just ride.
  19. Wet 'n' Wild Junior is officially open! This was posted on WnW Facebook page today.
  20. JDS is no way a set of Dodgems, so please stop referring to it as such. This is a unique ride for most kids. Where else can they drive a car with some sense of freedom without being arrested? Sure, Dreamworld has the Model- T's but they are on rails. There is no sense of freedom. Don't compare JDS to Dodgems. That's like comparing the Bermuda Triangle to the WB Kids Splash Zone; it's just not right.
