  1. Zach, I think they're rebuilding it because on their website it says they're bringing a new re-vamped of the Wipeout.
  2. Earlier this morning I saw that the Wipeout will be closed from the; 03/02/2014 till the 30/06/2014, then on top of the maitence page, it says What do you guys think or know what the outcome will be or what they will do to it?
  3. I would love to see film vault again but I didn't like the whole chained fences thing, I'd prefer to see it as like Hollywood Horrors that travels the country with its individual movies in their individual rooms instead of having a chain fence and seeing the characters walking around.
  4. I know that it's 11 months away but thought we could discuss some ideas or thoughts for what should be there/ done for next years (2014) Fright Nights. I am personally hoping for a Carrie maze for next year as I watched the movie yesterday (the remake with Chole Grace Moretz) and boy it was fantastic, I had ideas of what scenes etc could be placed in the movie and thought it seemed pretty good (or bad)... it would an awesome maze! What are your guys ideas and thoughts?
  5. Most intense ride in my opinion would have to be either the Cyclone or Arkham Asykum both rattle you around like crazy!
  6. I was stuck on the Wipe-Out, not once but four times! I forgot, was also stuck on TOT2 and Green Lantern!
  7. Went to movie world today and watched Overdrive, it was ood but I found it the same as Carnevil with the motorbike stunts, wasn't all the interesting but was good. I'd rate it a (5.5/10).
  8. I had a few favourite scares this year, of which are: 1. The hospital bed scene in WD; We were walking around the bed and I had little clue that there was a a scare actor behind one of the fake walls, so he flung open the fake wall and full on came running at me! This scared the shh out of me. 2. The car scene just before entering the house in WD; Our group was just walking into the house when a zombie comes running across the bonnets of the cars (with flashing strobes so it looked like he was there then right infront of you) and jumped right next to me! Scared me alot. and last but not least the guy sitting on the couch in ED; I knew he was an actor and all but wasn't expecting him to jump right out infront of me and chase me down the passage way! All in all, these were my favourite scares, I had many others
  9. Just got back from fright nights an hour ago and had an awesome night once again! I started off the night with Green Lantern and Batwing Spaceshot and both were pretty awesome at night especially Batwing! Then we grabbed our fast tracks but headed over to Scooby Doo first, we were the next group to be put through (via the extension queue) but they had technical difficulties, we decided to hang around for a bit but that was 15 to 20 minutes, so we decided to leave and head over to the darkness maze. Since I had fast track, I had got to go at the front and that was pretty scary yet awesome, the actors got right up in your face and everything, (8.5/10). After the darkness we went over to the soundstage mazes and went on Walking Dead first, this was diffently upped the anti since two weeks ago, heaps of scares and great scenery, (9/10). After WD, we went on ED and was a bit of a let down from last time, first of all, Mia wasn't at the first scene, second of all, the girl with the electric cutting knife wasn't there (guessing on her break) and lastly the girl with the chainsawn was awesome, (8/10). After ED, we headed over to the HS2, I also got the front on this one and once again and was awesome! The scene with the pig woman in the cage, it reaked of feces!!! but thats all, otherwise it was great, (8.5/10). All in all, I would recommend buying a fast track as we got all the mazes done, saw Carnevil and did two rides all before 9:30 and also, Carnevil was pretty awesome, but pretty short in my opinion. Thanks for reading my review
  10. I first went in to Zombie Evilution at Screamworld was a pretty good maze, I thought the theming was very well done, the scares were very good. I liked the theatre scare the most, that one got me good. I think this will do as a Laster Tag but sounds kind of random at the same time... Will have to test it out next time I'm at Dreamworld!
  11. Hi Zanstabar, I would recommend WD first because the queue line reached half way down Zombie Alley
  12. I as well attended Fright Nights last night and was a great night. I must say that it wasn't as good as last year (atmosphere wise) but was still an awesome experience. I arrived at 5:30 - 5:45, and was very quick to get inside. I caught a glimpse of the ringmaster on the top of Club Blood where he announced that "Fright Night was offically open." I started the night off with the Arkham Asylum and got the 2nd ride of the night, it felt quite different at night compared to day time! After Arkham, we headed over to the Walking Dead maze. The queue was right out to the entrance but took about 1/2 an hour to an hour to get on. In my opinion, it was quite a let down, and was a random set out, first you're in a hospital (I think), then you're in a forest etc. The scares weren't all that scary/ spectacular except the hand which reached over the wall got me good ahaha, overall I'd give it a, (7.5/10). After WD, we headed right over to Evil Dead was a 1/2 hour queue, this was by far my favourite maze of the night, they had great theming and the best scares, especially the staplegun (could feel the air on my arm) and the electric cutting knife. While lining up I could hear a chainsaw but both times I went through didn't see the actor with it... however I'd score this (9.5/10). We headed back down towards Main Street and I was amazed off how long the Walking Dead maze queue line was, it reached half way down Zombie Alley! TBH, while walking down Main Street, there was that much smoke I couldn't see what was infront of me for atleast 5 metres, and was a few centimetres away from walking in to the back of a zombie, my friend walked in to her though by accident, woops! Anyway, we headed for Hillbilly Slasher but to be confronted with the queue line reaching out towards the Scooby Doo, queue line (for Fright Nights). We decided to come back to Hillbilly so went on The Darkness instead, the queue was 1/2 an hour long but the maze itself was very good, it lives up to its name and had plenty of scares, (7.5/10). After TD we headed back down main street and grabbed something to drink and decided to on Hillbilly Slasher 2, it was a close tie to Evil Dead, but wasn't as good as ED. It has great theming, to be quite frank, the best theming! It had plenty of scares throughout and was extremely good maze, (9/10). After Hillbilly we went back on Evil Dead and it was 10:50 by the time we got out. I would highly recommend attending this years Fright Nights
