Good photos. I think by the end of next month parts of the slide will have arrived and it can start to be joined together.

But I would say that the decisions they have made this year have been good.

I didn't mean it in that way. I meant I was expecting the layout to be the same (but on a smaller scale). When I first heard about the ride I was thinking kids would enter through the main gates and could drive near/around rides, down main street and into the western and kids wb areas. But I understand that they would have had to work with the space and it couldn't be an exact replica.

Has anyone been to WWW in the past few days? If so, anymore changes?

Obviously it is the patching is not an exact replica of the park. They have done it so it fits into the space.

They weren't overly bad and I have only gotten them twice (Arm was near shoulder, hit on the restraint, and leg was just below knee). But I am just making a point that the seating and ride itself is uncomfortable, thats why it needs fixing/changing. I don't think they need it. Yes Claw needs a fresh coat of paint, but I think that is all it needs.

I think they should fix the cyclone so I don't come off it with a sore neck and brused legs and arms. Now I just don't even bother going on it because it doesn't provide any joy. So yes they should replace the train, repaint it and fix up the queue line and station. But as Brad said, it doesn't provide a complete makeover to the ride. If they do this to cyclone I won't be complaining, but it would be good also if they refurbished the river rapids or log ride.

^I just think that with the Wipeout re-opening next month and the new water slide and thrill ride opening this September, the parks might want to make these the key focus for the year. And if they were to close another major ride after these all open, then depending on how major refurbishment it is, it may run into the summer holidays, when parks try to have all of their rides open. I think, like we have this year, will see what ride will be getting the upgrade in January on the scheduled maintenance list, it will close after holidays and then work will begin. That is just my opinion though.

WOW. It really has worn out. It was a ride definitely deserving of the refurbishment. The claw is another ride which needs a fresh coat of paint.

I never realised how worn out the ride had become and the effects they had taken away from the ride. The repurbishment is definetly going to make the ride like it originally was. Also, if you watch episode 1 of the Dreamworld archieve, it is of the bushranger show guests watched when on the paddle boat. At 6:40 there is a waterfall that goes into the river, if DW turned this back on it might make the river a bit cleaner.

I personally don't think we will see the another makeover until next year.

Wouldn't water running down the wave cause the paint to fade quicker, meaning the sharks and other details won't be visible after a couple of months?

Ok thanks for that. Does anyone know if fluffy will be returning? And with the theatrical elements do people think it will be water bring sprayed at/around riders?

I know right. But seriously, I was thinking maybe creatures of the deep would be something good to have. I don't know what else they could have at the park (apart from whales, but I think thats wrong and SW do not support whales in captivity anyway).

Yeah it was a smart move for MW to do that. I would except now an extra couple of nights will be added throughout July. I think if they do this event again next year, they should either do it every weekend in June or July.

Movie World has added an extra night on the 30th.

Source? If this is true then I am expecting the new attractions to be added to the reclaimed land (Maybe more sea creatures and a ride). And maybe the show will be fish detectives.

I would have thought that the area that the new ride would take would only be this much (red line) and not them stalls. Also, is this where the new fence line of Wipeout is (Purple Line) (Blue is original fence line)?
