  1. The wheel did move to surfers and then I don't know what happened. The one in Brisbane was there before it went to surfers (I think)
  2. Ok thanks for clearing that up. I thought it was a great addition though. It offered great views. It was a shame when I first heard it was being rover. But I can understand why environmentalists would want it removed.
  3. It's good to hear that they are installing a slide which hasn't been seen on the GC before. If people do have to carry up there raft, they widen the stairs. I don't see them using the lift them they use for the RIP.
  4. The wheel was 50m high. So why is there a restriction of 30m? So why was the wheel installed if there was a restriction and did it have to be removed due to height?
  5. I can't see MW getting this tower ride when they already have a a tower ride. I think it would be a great addition to Sea World though.
  6. ^^If you read the 2014 Dreamworld forum you will find that this was announced a couple of days ago and there is an update on everything to do with this ride and everything else at Dreamworld.
  7. ^Wipeoutdreamworldfan is right. If you look to the very left of the photo, you can see a nickelodeon sign.
  8. Just because it says Drop Zone on the sign, doesn't mean it will be it's final name. It might just be hinting what the ride will be.
  9. ^and Zombie Evilutuon. The cyclone caused the Flowriders wave to grow to the size of the wipeout. After the giant claw has destroyed the dock, zombies have risen.
  10. You make a very good point reanimated. If people continue to go on these types of rides, why not keep on installing them, with a unique experience to them. Yes, it would be good to see them install a new coaster, or a ride that hasn't been seen on the Gold Coast before but as long as if they put effort into the rides they install, I don't have a major problem with it.
  11. ^Agreed. I've been on Pandamonium hard style once and I felt very sick for about 4 hours afterwards. The claw does. Shockwave sometimes does. Reef Diver did. Hopefully if the new ride is a star flyer, it won't spin too fast.
  12. ^^This doesn't definetly mean that this is the final statistics of the ride. Someone may have just edited the ride information and put this as their own on opinion on what they believe the ride will be. I do agree and believe that it will be a star fly though.
  13. I drove past yesturday and it still looks like there is plenty of ground work going on. It's meant to open this September. I'm hoping they have a mini tornado, and a mini kamikaze would be good.
  14. Here is the link to it: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152284000383613&set=a.10151930269868613.1073741832.30639128612&type=1&theater
  15. ^Yep. It's almost been an hour and they have almost got 1000 Likes. Maybe in a couple of hours.
  16. In the background of the photo you can see them testing the Wipeout as well. Also, I haven't noticed this on the other thrill rides, but do they all say on the safety sign "High Thrill Ride". If not, is it hinting something.
  17. If the number is a code, I would expect the 09 part to just mean Thrill Ride 9. I don't know what the 20 part would be.
  18. Dreamworld have said if their most recent post gets 900 likes they will provide some information about the thrill ride.
  19. And someone said that the pathway is all finished now, so it seems all they need to do now is testing. Depending on how it does will depend on when it opens. I would expect it to open on Monday at the earliest.
