  1. Hopefully the park is allowed to reopen before the end of the month, otherwise there will be no more BuzzSaw
  2. When is it getting removed. I know there was talk years ago about it, but I thought that had been scrapped
  3. I can’t imagine the path I proposed would even cost that much more either. The GD entry is roughly at the same level as ST and the distance between isn’t that far either. There would be some steel works involved, but it isn’t a major span. I guess the other major cost would be the fencing and shelter to seperate guest moving through the area from the track, which does get low and tight at some points
  4. How I imagined they would link the paths is across where I have marked up. And if they did that, then it would be worth while and does cut out a fair distance
  5. The only other rockwork I would have like to have seen is in this banked turn as shown in the video But providing they add some decent landscaping and real rockwork, I don’t think it will look too bad. I think the site just needs to feel full, as in, just put gardens in areas where possible. I’m not expecting it to be a jungle, as they need to allow for machinery access during maintenance. How do people feel about the fact they aren’t linking the paths between TS and GD? I was really hoping for this connection to return. Right now going to BuzzSaw creates a dead end and ST is going to have that same feel. And since you can see the whole area from the GD entry, bringing back this path would’ve been nice to see
  6. It doesn’t appear so, unfortunately. I couldn’t see any more meshing on the site. So I think the tunnel and this arch we can see in the photos is all there will be. Hopefully they plants some trees against the SV building to hide it somewhat
  7. These are definitely mine, I always take my own photos and if I share someone else’s I credit them
  8. Just been on BuzzSaw for the first time in at least 4 years. For a one trick pony, it’s alright, especially when you only have to wait one cycle. But definitely not worth much of a wait. I asked the ride op the last time to ride had a decent wait time and he couldn’t remember it had been that long. So definitely not a loss for the park.
  9. Looks like the original attraction entry arch won’t be returning And the track has been repainted
  10. It appears that they could be removing this useless structure Some vintage dreamworld that hasn’t been seen for a long time has been revealed
  11. Dreamworld will be closing at 2pm today due to lockdown
  12. Unfortunately not anymore these days. My career has taken off, so only have time for visits on the weekends now I can assure you, any photos I post I have taken myself. If they are other peoples photos I always credit them. In regards to the incorrect info posted this morning. I was talking to a mate about the new attraction at WNW and he said ‘oh btw I saw they were installing the tower, it’s almost done’. So apparently not. My bad. Sorry @Gazza for causing you to waste time. I’ll be sure to check these things for myself before sharing in the future.
  13. @Gazza shit sorry about that @Brad2912 someone very much did. They are no longer a reliable source
  14. Construction of the tower is well underway. Almost reached its max height
  15. If they did a snake skin look, it would take much longer and be a lot more costly. And when it fades, it won’t look as good and start to loose its details. At least with what they’ve done with, it won’t look as bad when faded and it’s much easier to redo
  16. I see it as, taipans are in the desert, the concrete has a desert tone to it, so i think it works very well as is.
  17. Just looking at this drawing again, it doesn’t actually look like there is a path that connects from ST to GD. You can see the two foot paths which are currently being laid, but these are access the queue and exit from the station. There are access paths, but I imagine they will be fenced off and are access for staff/maintenance
  18. The concrete paths are being poured that will lead from SV to the queue and through to the GD. I love the colourisation and style they’ve gone with this path to give that Aussie outback look
  19. Apparently because of COVID, Sea World has reduced its operating hours The way they’ve presented it looks confusing, but basically it’s 9:30 to 3:30 everyday except Saturday’s. Saturday’s will continue to be 9:30 to 5.
  20. That’s a very good point. Looking through posts I’ve made on GCTP, I’ve only done 2 updates all year on Leviathan construction and the last one was over two months ago. VRTP should be pushing hard with marketing for the summer holidays. There are the smaller ads for the annual passes that very briefly mentions the rides opening, but they should do a full campaign only focusing on the new land. The ad for Rivals is the last campaign we’ve seen from VRTP that only focuses on the new attraction and not passes and then briefly mentions the new thing
