  1. All references for Sidewinder (except for a couple images and the track shown on the map) have been removed from the parks website I would assume they’ve done this so they can update day the ride information, etc in preparation for an announcement of its new name, etc
  2. The parks went from one of the busiest days in the year yesterday to one of quietest days today
  3. Very busy day at DW and WWW, with the carpark almost full again. This was the first time I witnessed the entry process. Red entry stairs are closed off and everyone enters towards the LEGO store. Signs are everyone telling you that you must scan the QR code and register your details before entering. But of course, this being the general public, they weren’t able to understand this simple concept. I saw heaps of people trying to walk up and the staff would have to tell them to stop and scan the code, but they still didn’t get why. They have also updated the signage within the carpark, as seen above
  4. Maybe the gate was open (I have seen it be left open before) and he’s done a sneaky and walked in
  5. Driving past DW this afternoon, the carpark was completely full and WWW had decent queue down all the attraction towers
  6. When Storm opened it was advertised as a family coaster, but it’s also listed as Max thrill. You can’t trust VRTP’s interruption because they list WWF and Scooby as thrill rides too. Based off other coasters of similar thrill that the Gravity Group have done, I’d say it’s minimum height will be 120cm
  7. @AheadMatthewawsome thank you for your review of opening day. When you say physical distancing just doesn’t exist, did the park not have floor markings to show where people needed to stand? Or was it just people being incapable of standing on a marker and staff weren’t enforcing it? Because there are multiple slides on each tower, how did that queuing work? Was it just like normal (before COVID) or did the park try and encourage spacing for each queue within the tower?
  8. Will there be fountains underneath though? In all the concept images there has been, but from all the photos taken of the ride, there doesn’t appear to be any. When I’ve taken my big lens, I’ve zoomed in on the ride and couldn’t see any either. In saying that, they could be hidden or maybe we just can’t see it
  9. I agree, but with the the way the park has been designed, it just wouldn’t work because that area includes the back of house, staff area, maintenance area and the storage area for the stunt show
  10. But there will be 3 access points into the land, so it can’t be that bad. Yes the area isn’t massive, but it will work as well as the rest of the areas across the park
  11. It’s definitely a low budget event from whats in the park right now. There is a lot of additional lighting across the park, so I assume it will look great at night. But theming wise, not a lot going for it
  12. @T-bone cheers for that. I wonder if they’re going to trim back the plants there
  13. Not sure if this is new or if I’ve never noticed it before; but here’s a sign
  14. I do like the running water effect they’ve installed around vortex IMG_3607.MOV
  15. That name is almost as good as Justice League: Alien Invasion 3D - The Ride
  16. Theme park capacity will be increasing from 50% to 75% from October 1. Great news, but I haven’t heard any of the parks reach the 50% capacity since reopening
