  1. Is the water heated at all, or is it just the natural temperature?
  2. Did you see any noticeable changes to the ride since last time? And is Sea Viper back open yet?
  3. I also agree that this event if more particularly focused for adults. White Christmas is aimed at kids and families and Fright Night is focused at teenagers. I think this could be a really good addition to the parks evening events. But as it is new this year they will really need to advertise, so people know about it.
  4. Maybe they will add some water mist sprayers above each seat, so at certain points you get a bit wet. Anyway, why was Fluffy and the water removed from the ride. Was it for similar reasoning of the Surfrider having the spray removed?
  5. For those people who don't watch the video they are: Repainting everyone Putting new seats in place Changing the entrance queue to make it quicker Moving the viewing area closer to the ride Adding theatrical elements to the ride
  6. Since I said this Dreamworld haven revealed some of the changes they are making on the Wipeout
  7. Dreamworld's Minor Mayor has been announced and he has given some info about Wipeout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SO_t0WBOmPQ
  8. I agree. An example is during the construction of the Storm Coaster. Sea World never posted any photos of it, until a week before it opened. There have been times when they have given hints (Such as when GL was being constructed, Movie World posted small separate images which were parts of a puzzle). I don't know if other theme parks across the world post images during construction, but I think the GC parks should. Even if they only ever post one or two, it would be good to get some hints from them about what is going on and what the attraction will look like or be. I do hope Dreamworld give some hints about what their two new rides will be in the next month or so.
  9. If it does get delayed and it is a good attraction, then thats fine. I think Dreamworld may try to open the Wipeout at the next Screamworld (July 4). That probably won't be the case, but it may be their aim
  10. Why have the different coloured lasers and the amount of smoke been minimised on Scooby-Doo?
  11. The only thing is I don't belive it could be constructed in 4 months. I could be wrong though.
  12. Whatever it is at least they are adding another slide. WWW desperately need more slides. I don't know how much land Dreamworld own, which could be expanded to make WWW bigger. they may never be able to have as many slides as WnW, but they need to add more to compete.
  13. That is true, but I really do hope they don't do that. A ride like the Taipan at Jamberoo Action Park would be really good.
  14. That's what I was thinking as well. If they put it behind little rippers there is very little land to clear, as there isn't much there. I also don't think they will use another tower. I know people have said they did that with wedgie and no one expected, but I can't honestly see how they will do it this time. If they do build another tower, then that may allow for future slides to be added to it as well. For all we know the pieces of the slide could be on there way right now. I don't think they will get a S&S Screamin' Swing. It is too similar to the claw. We will just have to wait and see. I would expect that by the end of the month work will have started.
  15. What waterslide do people want to see WWW get? I personally want to see something similar to WNW Sydney's Bombora or Typhoon.
  16. Dreamworld have updated their website again, announcing that the Big 9 Thrill Ride and waterside will be opening in September. And - New Food Outlets and Coffee Shop - Opening Soon (I think if WWW are extending their land for the waterside, they will put the new shops there).
  17. I also think JL is better ban batman adventure. I'm mixed about whether I prefer Bermuda Triangle or storm though. what about other ride changes. Such as the speed coaster and twister to aqualoop. And the upgrade to the kids area at Dreamworld? I think they are better now
  18. I love the sound of that. But would that be a quite expensive transition and is it possible to do to the GD?
  19. I think that a Star Flyer will be a good addition to the park and will fit well in that area. The thing is though, on the sign it says opening in September (so it will be most likely opening for the school holidays). It is now May. They have got to get rid of the Reef Diver (I would say it will be gone by the end of the month) and then they only have 4 months before it opens. What ever it is, it isn't going to a something that isn't to complicated to build in a short time. So if it is a star flyer, this could be done. My bets for the make over is on either the cyclone, or river rapids.
  20. I don't think it will be the cinema because it says a major attraction. I don't see the cinema as a major attraction. The cyclone, log ride and river rapids are the best bet.
  21. I just think they haven't had a new ride there for a few years now, so they must (hopefully) have a good water slide in the plan. I don't see where else they could put a new ride.
  22. Well Dreamworld have posted on there website that two major attractions will be getting a major makeover within the next year so maybe cyclone is one of them
