  1. Now they change it. When I last checked on DWs website there no time of operation next to it and on the giant drops info page it had weekdays outside school holidays closed like the vintage cars.
  2. Well when I went there 3-4 weeks ago the vintage were operating 11:00 - 4:00 unless it's changed since then.
  3. I rote early in the forum that the vintage cars are closed during weekdays and for some reason DW has closed the giant drop during weekdays it started operating these hours after it's 2 day maintenance. I found it a bit strange for one of the big 9 thrill rides
  4. Well look on the bright side if cyclone is themed to redline we can at least say that is slightly separate to ocean parade and that redline doesn't stick out, as cyclone is still part of the ocean parade or least currently is.
  5. My apologies last time I knew the camera was un-operational as when I went there 4 weeks ago there photos were not available. Now think about it the odds of cyclone re-theming to redline are low as the whole ride has nothing to do with V8 supercars (paint job, cars, queue) and they would never be able completely re-theme the whole ride in about a month. Redline is probably just getting an upgrade or something as the second attraction for tiger islands 20th year there are other things which are started or be ready before 2015 ends. ABC kids world is one attraction, redline probably the other attraction.
  6. Well I when the redline was added I know one of the camera cables for the cyclone was destroyed not allowing photos so they could be fixing the damaged cable or starting some back of house stuff for the cyclones maintenance starting from the 12/10 until 15/11.
  7. He is cute. But DW said on there page on the website that the tiger club will be brought in the tiger island nursery for the public in mid August
  8. Well for tiger islands 20th anniversary on the DW website they did say 2 big new attractions coming and we have already seen one attraction ABC kids world which might be one of the attractions and the other could be redline. Unless it's something simple I don't think will have anything planned to upgrade tiger island as most of the year is already gone, will be in 2016 before we know it.
  9. Correct When I rote that message about ABC kids world I wasn't really thinking at the time. Speaking of the topic theming the cyclone to V8 supercars would be pretty cool, I know they put v8 supercars in ocean parade for silly reason I couldn't see them re-theming cyclone to it. I will say this much cyclone is closing for maintenance for about 1 month later this year so the odds of at least a new coaster car is high, we can hope that over that time it's closed it will also get a bit of TLC.
  10. There goes ABC kids world. Just saw this on DW website about opening hours for the vintage cars OPENING HOURSMon - Fri (Outside of School holidays): CLOSEDWeekends & School Holidays: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM It's only operating 10hrs a week I don't know why they bother. I know there more a kids ride but that's another ride down for kids just like how they re-placed the avalanche with a thrill ride in a kids area.
  11. This is what adventure world said about the there water slide opening date. Adventure World’s mega slide will open in early October this year, shortly after WA’s favourite theme park opens for the summer season on Thursday, 24 September for the start of the school holidays. So it'll be opening sooner then we thought.
  12. Good point about whitewater world but look on the bright side they've done something with the park more then what wet n wilds done recently unless they've opened without me knowing. What I meant about winter lasting longer is up here in Toowoomba it's like it's only 2 seasons winter and summer. It usually only starts warm up mid to late September and summer feels like it lasts for ever it starts to cool down half way though Autumn. Last year for us we only had like 2 weeks of cold days in winter (in total) the rest felt like it was summer or spring.
  13. Well it certainly is a good idea opening there attraction at the end of the year as that is one of the busiest times for a popular theme park and also as it's a water slide so would certainly aim for that time of year summer rather then opening slides like Whitewater World in early spring seeing winter can last a lot longer these days.
  14. A wild mouse roller coaster like the mine cart track on hoodwinked, only with loops as well.
  15. Yes I've been there during xmas holidays and haven't seen it full probably because I arrive early when people are still arriving and leave when most people have left, always a first but.
  16. Why do they need an overflow car park anyway, shortly after whitewater world was completed did they re-do the car park so it would hold enough cars to cater for whitewater world and Dreamworld, they should've of sold any of there land anyway it just gives them less room to expand the park. Isn't that why Sydney's wonderland closed cause they didn't have expansion room and went broke.
  17. Well they don't only have that pile of land to use theirs the Mississippi river and it's island as well as some of the old thunderbolt site. Something what I thought would be cool in the old blue lagoon area is a boat ride (like the Bermuda triangle) and put it though the blue lagoon mountain and make the auditorium the station we all know that the 2 water rides what are there are some of the most popular rides in the a 3 water ride would be even better.
  18. It is Disneyworld one of the biggest theme parks in the world so they would have money coming out there ears so this probably was just a bump in there money. I would spend 9m on a new roller coaster of some kind wouldn't go to that much effort for toilets but presentation is everything I suppose.
  19. Well I won't say I have solid prove but I can say DW theming eureka mine ride to redline would be pretty silly I know that they have done strange stuff in the past but this strange I don't think so. I have asked DW themselves about mine ride and it closed because it would cost a lot of dollars to fix up it's not that they wanted it to close it was very un-predictable so seeing there doing testing on the ride we know that there probably going to do something with it. They wouldn't be testing just to get people talking cause people have been talking about it for ages as it's been SDNO since 2006.
  20. I was at DW 2 weeks ago and noticed that the mine cart in the old unload station had moved threw to the loading station so something being done with it for sure, but it won't have anything to do with redline. It has nothing to do with the town of gold rush look on the bright side redline it not the first thing you see in ocean parade and if you don't go down where the cyclone is you won't know that anything is out of place. The mine ride could be themed to a none gold mine or something cause the name of gold rush country was changed to town of gold rush after the buzzsaw was built but at least we might know that eureka is finally going to be used again can't say the same for the old skylink chairlift.
  21. Hi this is my first message on forums I noticed this on my map as well and it's only just come up on there new maps and it also is saying in the what's new section on the map, We're revved up, new motor sport attractions launching this summer perhaps redline could not only be being refurbished but moved into river town and theme the Motocoaster to it and while they are at it they can give the Motocoaster a bit of TLC as they seem to be doing up the whole park. First re-painting main street plaza, DW corroboree, doing up ocean parade and changing nick central and now ABC kids world and there is also work going on in the town of gold rush with eureka mine ride probably for town of gold rushes 30 year next year.
