  1. Not sure if it’s been mentioned anywhere, but is there any reason as to why the IT maze hasn’t been removed at all? Is this common that mazes stay each year for the next years event, or do they get de-constructed each year?
  2. At White Water World today, heaps of work happening on the Temple of Huey. The stairs are all getting repainted, as well as what looks to be like filters/motors. Also looks like the top of the Screaming Right Handers has begun repainting (as seen in the picture). The end of each of the slides has also gotten a lick of paint. Looks nice!
  3. Screaming right handers? A very, very edited screaming right handers.
  4. Interesting that they have a billboard advertising the pass, however it's not available online?
  5. That's odd. And at the beginning of the summer season too?
  6. Sorry. Did a bit of research, looks like this logo will be used for everything. Motion pictures, tv, marketing and social platforms. It'll appear on screens early 2020. Yikes. https://www.warnerbros.com/news/press-releases/warner-bros-reveals-brand-refresh-updated-logo
  7. I believe the new logo is just used for their marketing platforms, and the original one is used for the movies. They changed it on their youtube and instagram accounts, but movies have still stayed the same.
  8. I don’t know if it’s just me, but there is something very unusual about Movieworld’s marketing for White Christmas this year. I love the event, but these ads are kind of pointless. I understand the gimmick, it’s all to do with the song, but ‘ten children waving’? What does that have anything to do with the event?
  9. I think it would be stupid of them to have an individual line for each slide. They do that at Raging Waters and it's a complete mess.
  10. There's also the September school holidays.. and the Christmas holidays.. and the winter holidays.
  11. Oops, my mistake. I didn't know it had two cars. Curious to know, if anyone has ridden it.. is it a good experience? I'm going to Abu Dhabi in January, so keen to know what it's like. Does it have a kick like TOT did?
  12. I understand the faster loading, but Turbo Track has a smaller capacity than TOT? The former only has 12 seats, whereas TOT has 14.
  13. Great news for the park. Although, makes me wonder, what was the reason it was removed?
  14. I believe someone mentioned it, but I can't find the post anywhere.. A duelling coaster similar to Battlestar Galactica at USS would be a great fit for the Arkham space. The 'Human' side would make for a good bridge for the younger thrill enthusiasts who aren't quite ready to tackle the bigger thrills of a multi-inversion coaster, and those looking for a thrilling experience can take on the 'Cylon' side. Basically, Movieworld would get a brand new, much smoother, launched SLC, and also pick up a new family thrill ride. Although incredibly unlikely, the park could reinvent the running theme of DC attractions and go for a 'Fantastic beasts' experience. But - since this is Movieworld, it could be something like Batman & Robin, or Harley Quinn/Joker.
  15. Nothing I say is going to get me out of being in trouble from reacting the way I did. With Skeeta's post, it came across to me as a bit know-it-all(ish), but that was just my perception of it. I'm sorry for that particular reaction, but I stand by my reactions to the other 3 posts, as they are totally fair and reasonable circumstances for using the reaction. I still stand by my comments about how wrong it is to publicly shame me and other members for using certain reactions. If any admins are reading, it would be nice to remove these recent few posts as it has veered way off the topic. I'm sorry for my part in this, but I think it should be put to bed.
  16. I'm sorry if the reaction upset you, but I am allowed to use it. Not necessarily directed straight at you, as there were obviously other people involved, but I wasn't going to go ahead and use the reaction on every post, as I know people who have done that in the past have met the wrath of various members because they don't like the use of the reaction. Again, if it bothers people so much, simply remove it, and the issue won't come up again.
  17. I can make out 4 of them, but i can't make out MickeyD's comment. In @blurrybilly's comment, I reacted with the sick face because I disliked the new VRTP Website cover - as I believed it's a bit too 'in your face' with the your themepark's slogan. (I wasn't reacting to his specific comment, rather the new addition to the websites) I sick faced @Sarahscott's comment because of the constant negativity she has been sharing about Dreamworld - and again, in my opinion, the park has been looking better than ever lately. I fountain reacted to @Yes. Me.'s post, because of how vague his comment was about the TOT closure. Had I known this was true, I wouldn't have reacted in that way. With @Skeeta's post, I reacted in that way because of the numerous posts beforehand about fire safety. I hope that's enough justification for you as to why I used a reaction emoji. And again, I think it's totally unfair that you are going into each post, seeing who reacts to it, and making a PSA about why you think it's wrong. If the use of a sick face offends you this much, then make a complaint and get it removed.
  18. Only negative reacted to you. Just 1 reaction. It's there for a reason, and if people get so upset about it being used, then simply remove the option to 'negative' react to someone? I'll admit I shouldn't have used 'everyone' so broadly. I am more referring to anyone I know - and they have all had poor experiences on the ride, even with the new trains. But just because I disagree with something your saying by using a completely acceptable reaction, it doesn't mean you need to make a whole post about it, publicly shaming me about it.
  19. MDMC is good/bad depending on the rider. Typically larger or tall riders find it quite uncomfortable and even painful. However, for smaller riders and kids in the sidecar, MDMC is actually pretty enjoyable. For Arkham, everyone gets leg bashing and head/neck bashing. Easily the worst coaster in Australia for me (excluding travelling rides).
  20. So, MovieWorld gets a $30+ million Hypercoaster... Seaworld gets a wooden coaster, a Huss top spin and a star flyer.. and Wet n Wild gets a projector and a sound system for movies.
  21. Just as quickly as VRTP updated their sites, they have changed them back to their original style. Movieworld now says: 'The perfect escape' Wet n Wild says: 'Australia's #1 waterpark' and Seaworld says: 'Amazing Adventures'.
  22. A coaster cannot fit in both the Wipeout and Sidewinder plot - as in between these two rides is all back of house area.
  23. I get that - i'm saying it would be highly unusual for WnW to install another rollercoaster even though they already have one. You'd think their focus would be slides, given their rather lacklustre lineup compared to other parks?
