Great, solid logic there. Dont know why some people even go to theme parks when clearly they are so evil. -

Again what is with this negativity bullshit. Why wouldnt they let you wear glasses UNDER a headset that is fully enclosed and attached to your head? Im all for fair discussion but some of this Movie World bashing when there is no valid reason to be negative is really starting to get annoying. -

Yeah exactly... If you could tell anything the park has been doing that could be considered anything other than great things lately Id love to hear them. This is why the enthusiast community pisses me off most of the time. As for upcharge if it's an option then what's the problem? No one is forcing you do to it. And if you want to say they shouldn't make you pay more for new things then I will point out its the majority of members here that winge the entry price is too low. So ffs stop complaining just to complain. -

A bunch of the VR coasters have a gaming element. You shoot with but buttons on the side. -

Perfect ride for it because it's meant to have a DC theme but obviously the second you enter the lift and have a nice view of BOH and the studios that's destroyed. This should provide a truly immersive experience as isn't 'ruining' a quality coaster like say Revolution at Magic Mountain. My experience is that the guests riding with VR absolutely loved it, and I'm sure it won't be compulsory anyway. Everywhere else I've seen VR isn't available in the front row anyway so you can still get your front seat ride the traditional way. -
I feel like if China Alley (well what used to be, let's stop calling something that doesn't exist anymore China Alley) was open Id be coming on here and reading all about how there is the ugly unthemed corridor that you have to walk down. So I feel like it's a no win situation here and the park would be damned either way. Id kinda be sooner reading about how awesome it is that two aging attractions are getting a nice makeover and how this time in 12 months the park is going to be looking amazing. Half of Disneyland is closed right now, well seems like, growing pains are a thing any park is gonna have.

Ah that's good to know. If if they are painting superman it would be way too dangerous to have guests in the area and also impractical from an operations standpoint to change guest routes daily depending on work being carried out.
-
I was thinking though. Are there a lot of guests now that don't even go to the booths with the way ticketing has changed the last few years? Maybe the turnstiles need the signage too? Its tough. You want the rides getting this kind of refurb love but in a small park with mostly major attractions it's hard when more than one has to go down.

It's green. The manufacturer was previously known as Arrow so it almost works

I'm saying expedition G force is not that big and if that's all we got I'd be kinda bummed -

That coaster seems a bit small Hope we get something better than that -
Well this wouldn't be an enthusiast forum without everyone finding problems with an artistic rendering of a proposed carpark would it
-
Do you mean like the current car park that has one entry point and no dedicated pedestrian paths? lol
-
Yes as AlexB mentioned. If you're expecting the park to have an entertainment predict, hotel, etc literally the only place they could build these in where the current car park is.
-
Why not a tunnel? Look at Knott's, they've done it. Obviously Movie World's carpark will disappear with all they have planned. This carpark idea makes perfect sense!

There is no way you would use a solid metal piece to check clearance. You want to use something that breaks easy without causing damage. -

I'm not so fussed with inversions so that wouldn't be a deal breaker for me -

Couple points. Yes the unload gives them an extra block however you can just have a hood block before the station to achieve the same thing. If the ride is loaded like a boss you also don't need the block because the train would leave the station before the other launches. But that's hard to achieve. As for immersion... That's grasping at straws. It's clearly a roller coaster and I don't think unloading would really make it any less immersive than it already is. I think you'll find the main reason for the lockers is they can insure no one has any lose items before they que which saves a lot of time loading the train. The reason that ride is so strict is more because it travels over people more so than for the people on the ride themselves. If this new coaster doesn't travel over people it might not be as strict. -

Doubt we'd be getting a B&M due to high cost and the cost of maintaining their trains. At the risk of going off topic, can't believe someone said AA is more intense than BTR. After riding the latter today, there is just no way. -

I would say superman was designed that way to be a more immersive experience and that most all other rides were that way when it was built. The park has kinda changed focus now (and also doesn't run the ride with 7 staff like when it opened) so I'd have no issue with superman sharing a single station. -

The ride does have a dropping floor. You would pretty much lose your legs otherwise. I wouldn't be so sure about the coaster. I recon if superman was built today there is NO WAY it would have a separate unload station. It pretty much achieves nothing.
