  1. Really? Are there some attractions that don't use the automated system with the cards you take through the que?
  2. Wow I must have missed that... They only run the train on weekends now?????? WTF
  3. Parks last bit of credibility as a 'theme park' gone right there. I'd honestly be ashamed to be part of that business right now.
  4. Yeah I guess it's not so much the story but the detail. If you have time to check out some of the standby ques I would, just to see how much detail goes into them. As Alex says its not really STORY you miss but some amazing detail has been put into most if the ques and if you get some time. Check em out.
  5. I'm going to disagree somewhat here. You definitely loose much of the que atmosphere with fast pass at many attractions. Racers is certainly one, heaps of the que story is lost in the fastpass que.
  6. yeah ispy is most definitely WRONG the boats leave the track and float freely post drop
  7. ^ WE NEED A LIKE BUTTON JUST FOR THIS GUY RIGHT HERE!!
  8. OMG What is it with all the members lately complaining about credit for their posts? You should be part of this community to enjoy sharing and discussion with the fellow members, not for some sort of glory and admoration. If that's what you're after I suggest you join another forum, if staying here please enough with the "oh where is my credit for xyx" posts please.
  9. Yeah I can't take the credit for that, wish I had that much spare time!! But given MW has never done twitter and focuses on FB I thought it was pretty obvious. Don't know the technicalities though on if what they were doing was wrong.
  10. I don't think anyone has said there are six mazes, I think people are getting a little ahead of themselves. Shall we start the speculation of where 6 mazes will be located?
  11. I'm sorry but I have to play devils advocate here... Exactly how does a twitter post equal confirmed?
  12. No actually it's not clean. The majority of the guests at the park are foul, ride operations are slow and the operators are more focused on what they appear to think is some new novelty item in the rides PA system, and the food is pretty poor. It has amazing coasters and pretty well zero atmosphere. I'm not saying dont go, but I don't care how sick of it someone may be I'm not going to sugar coat my opinion of the place. My biggest suggestion is visit Disney after the other two or you may be disappointed.
  13. SFMM is a well shit hole with amazing coasters, nothing more. Knotts you can do in the off season in 1/2 day and its an easy cab ride from Disney. Universal is a solid day. I'd recommend staying at universal for a night or 2 and driving from there to SFMM. The drive from Disney down that way is nasty and worth not doing 4 times if you can.
  14. If you've ever seen the show Shamu Rocks then the line between showcases and exploiting animals becomes very clear. You'll notice that in something like the dolphin show at Sea World, there really isn't any of the over the top, flashy show crap that the US parks have, and there is a lot of the space at SW where animals are just left to their own devices in pools that are not used for shows.
  15. It actually looks like a really good film. I thought the cove was amazing and I think there will be some interesting content in this film also. Sea World in the US seems to have very different attitudes towards its animals than the Australian park, I've long though this and it will be interesting to see what this brings to light. I doubt Australia would ever have Orcas because they really are just too damn big for captivity. Our dolphins have more room than they do overseas.
  16. How can someone get a copy of this in Australia?
  17. That building underneath the bunny hop before the splashdown looks to have come up quick.
  18. No originally it also used elevators at the beginning where you now go up the stairs.
  19. I'd dare say as with always (remember the park (and rides) close at 5pm daily) the closing time is likely the time the LINE closes. Which means they want to be able to have the mazes run out by 10:30pm. That's just a guess, but would make sense.
  20. I dunno, I just know every time I've been at the park for Fright Nights and walked past at around that time the ride has been down, maybe just a coincidence.
  21. Only thing to keep and eye out for is Scooby has a tendency to 'break down' around 4pm on the Fright Night days so don't leave it until last.
  22. There's a shocker. Not that I'm not sad about this, but I never expected it to get off the ground
  23. I'm not saying it won't. I'm suggesting they can probably attract more guests by spending less money on a car park coaster so that's what they'll do. I don't agree with it, but it's sadly true. I would LOVE to see a highly themed spinning coaster go into that space but u just can't see it as a realistic possibility.
