  1. I don't think so, there was alot of people that got the passes just because they were so cheap; had they been dearer (normal price) they wouldn't have sold those passes. My friend got a pass just cause it's cheap and we were talking to the guy doing the photos that said they've had alot of people that have purchased it just because its cheap and they will come back to make good use out of it. I think the fact that MW can lower the price on more than one occasion, even extending it an extra 24(?) days says just how well they are doing with money. They don't need to up their prices even though they do have 3 new attractions, they don't need to hammer on with thier ads (like wnw), they can offer these cheap passes on more then one occasion for so long because they CAN afford it. Is it under selling if you can afford it? Well I don't know about you Gazza but a lot of people are struggling with money, debts, mortgages, bank loans etc that is what I meant by money is tight. We're (well some more than others) all doing everything we can to hang on to what cash we have so a saving here and there is good. There's some families who go to the parks that have saved up for 2 or more years just for 4 or 5 days and I can imagine the $79 pass deal was a god send if they wanted to get a pass. I myself got a new pass through the $79 deal because it was a few dollars cheaper then renewing and I forgot to renew my pass while I was on the gc so the web deal came in handy.
  2. I actually enjoy it more if my head/ears bang against the restraint. It doesn't bother me at all anymore, it use to but that was because LW was my first suspended coaster so it took a little to get use to it
  3. Yeah the price isn't crazy, since when is a discount considered crazy any how? Australia is in a time where money is tight so any saving you can get from a theme park is a blessing especially if you have a family and considering most of you think the parks are about families now don't you think $79 is a good thing? I'm sure there are a lot of families who got the passes for this price, in fact when I was there last month there was 4 families of 4/5 kids/teens and 2/3 adults getting the MW pass..that's a huge saving right there. The prices are back to normal now though.
  4. Same way you get Terror Canyon, black hole and sidewinder tubes....just line up and then get given one once someone is finished with them?
  5. I would like to ride it without hitting my head at some point during the ride but it seriously isn't as bad as you are making it out to be. I think the head/ear banging makes the ride. I actually wouldn't mine MW getting another coaster like LW but something a little more thrilling.
  6. My view exactly only without the Big Brother stuff lol. When we went to MW we were there from 11am until 1:30pm and left, we did all of the rides (cept the kids of course) in that space of time and decided to just go to pacific fair and do some shopping.
  7. That would be cool to experience and it'll be an australian first.
  8. Yeah its kinda long lines because it's the holiday season hehe but once you get the ticket it's all good. What I do with the Pharohs Curse is I lift my legs up when the bar comes down that way the bar doesnt go allll the way down on my legs and they don't get squashed Enterprise is so much better than the reef diver not only does it go fully around but you really get the feeling of gravity holding you in since you aren't strapped in. You should def wait to go again once school hols are finished and go on sat as dreamworld_rulz said, 12 hours at LPM is great fun and there's heaps and heaps of food places around that area if you get hungry and don't feel like paying LP prices for food.

    The Wii

Nah dont want 64, got it on the DS lol. NExt year? aw man. It just stinks there is no Mario Kart
  10. Great report, thanks. You sure do like using the word fat to describe larger people, eh? Wasn't the attendant joking? that's what I thought when I read his post. "we cant send you backwards" but he does anyway? the attendant on tornado said that to my friend and sent her backwards while he was laughing as she screamed down the tunnel.

    The Wii

Man when are they bringing out Mario Kart for the Snes? I can't believe they release the system with no Mario games (store purchased) and no Mario Kart (wii shop purchased). I'm sure if they could bring out 3 or 4 Mario games on the DS they can bring out one on the Wii or make one available for download
  12. They are asking if you have to hire your own tube and take it on the rides at wnw, not if they are free or anything dreamworld. The only thing you need a tube for is the wave pool (although thats not a necessity; you CAN go in there tubeless) and the lazy river (tube a must). All the slides at wnw have thier own tubes apart from the body slides on the mountain, twister and the speed slides off the Mach V which are tubeless. Super 8 has it's own mat.
  13. The ops on LW have dark blue/black t-shirts that say Lethal Weapon on them and they wear it with I think it's black pants or jeans? Not to nick pick or anything but the Nick shirts are actually orange and the logo is usually orange with white but some have a purple logo. I've never seen anyone in NC with a purple shirt and orange logo because that's not nickelodeon's colours and DW have the image to represent.
  14. Yea its about 2-3 minutes but it's quite good although if they cover all the parks then it'll be like 30 seconds per park.
  15. I think it's a personal thing too. I personally prefer DW to MW. The only discount you get in terms of food is at Rick's, you can only buy stuff at the WB store with a discount..which is just utter crap imo. You SHOuLD be able to get discount on all in park food..it cost you enough to buy it after all and sometimes the WB store doesn't have the stuff you wan't and the other store (looney tunes) does but if you want to save a few $ then you can't go to looney tunes and get it. They don't do a good job at marketing the discounts though, I went and got my mum a shirt from the LT store and only after I went to pay for it the lady said I couldn't use my annual pass there, only at the WB store. At least DW tell you when you buy the pass that you get all these cool discounts; MW don't do jack.
  16. KK's are so bloody yummy, so glad we finally got some stores here! we get a dozen glazed (free) when we buy a dozen so we get twice as fat lol. It's nice to see them getting promotion even though I dont think they need it.. Perhaps wnw's attendance right now is due to this new doughnut offer? (if its even started yet) 'eat a doughnut and spend the rest of the day working it off on our slides' lol.
  17. Just to answer this since no one has yet..when I went on (nov 30th) they were working but I'm not sure where you could get them from because there was no sign or anything that we saw so we didnt check to see how good they came out. I actually like the 2 person one but I havent used the cloaver leaf so I'm not sure if its better but my brother was saying that they are heavy and are so hard to carry up the stairs...is this true??
  18. It lasts 28 seconds according to www site.
  19. Saw the world pass ad just before on 10 during back to the future..I still think they should've shown some of the bowl instead of just the tornado.
  20. Lol I wonder why you felt sick on the Sting Ray... I've always wanted to go on the UFO thing but I always chicken out lol.
  21. The enterprise/reef diver is tame as a ride itself; the problem is the people who ride it, they either feel sick or they love it and re-ride it. I love the Enterprise, the one at LPM goes higher than Reef Diver and it actually suspends you in a full circle with no restraints, always great sitting forward and looking around..gives a good head rush. The Claw is a good one to re-do, just don't do it twice and then go and do the wipeout straight after lol (and I mean straight after..going from the claw to straight on the wipeout without lining up)..we almost passed out on it.
  22. Would a coaster scare the Tigers if it went around TI and not in TI? I dont think Dream would install a Boomerang (that's what your pic is of, right?) I liked the one at WL but I just don't think DW would install one..I think they would go for something like an Aussie first to kind of take the challenge to MW.
  23. Lol good advice. Never been on the aqua racer so going on the bro should be totally interesting!
  24. Awesome, thanks! In relation to you saying you were air born on the BRO..
  25. Hey Matt, are adults allowed on the Nick slides?? we always get kicked off the one's at wnw.
