  1. News here too (JR started testing go check out that forum) inside the motocoaster shop is a car! Also got signage now too! Bad lighting but it says collectables refreshments merchandise.
  2. When I get home haha still at dw this was the first thing I did when I saw it testing
  3. Bother I’ll screenshot the vid Horrendous quality but oh well it’s there.
  4. DONT HAVE THE HD VIDEO CONVERTED BY I CAN CONFIRM ITS TESTING!!!! IMG_0706.mov
  5. Definitely possible, Moto has always been unreliable IMO. I doubt it will last another ten years anyway. If it was up to me, I'd get rid of it now, it's just not getting the TLC it needs, and if it doesn't get a retheme, I doubt it will. I still hope JR and MM open in time though, even if Moto doesn't, at least the entrance is themed.
  6. Looks like I’ll be taking a walk down that road. Thanks a lot! I would take my drone over but it’s now covered in trees so I’m not sure if I’d see it. Also when was this roughly?
  7. I will attach a draft of the email I want to send. I am double checking because I only have one chance at this. Do you think this is good or are there any changes that you may recommend.
  8. Thanks. I'll give it a shot. The reason I was hesitant to write an email in the first place is because I once wrote to them regarding Blue Lagoon, and the reply stated that 'nothing' exists from the attraction, even though there is a MOUNTAIN just towering over the exit of ST. But I'll give it a shot, thanks.
  9. No it involved literally spending hours online, including looking through every mention of the Thunderbolt on this site and looking through about 40 pages. I just can't find any recent info since it was demolished so long ago.
  10. I have been doing some research recently, and I was wondering if Dreamworld still had some of the track and a train from the ride in back of house areas. Also, if anyone has images of it's demolition (files from the og posts were so old i couldn't open it) that would be amazing.
  11. Just conveying what DW is saying, don't blame me blame the maintanence guys for being lazy.
  12. They're closed. The maintanence schedule has updated it to reopening tomorrow.
  13. Well Triple Vortex, The Little Rippers, and Temple of Huey have all reopened, bringing the parks lineup back to normal (aside from fully 4/6)
  14. Not to mention that Dreamworld is still confident for a December opening. When you think about the progress they've made in the past two weeks on Murrisippi Motors, I'm pretty confident myself they are on track to opening. We can also see that JR is almost complete, so they can focus most of their attention on the ride now. I'm really excited to see the plane put in from the concept art.
  15. All I'm saying is, I won't believe they could be selling unless they find another asset first. It makes no financial sense to sell then buy, because if they can't find anything to buy then they're screwed.
  16. I was thinking the exact same thing. Just because some theme park companies sell their assets, doesn’t mean all of them do. I think Coast has settled in for the long run, and why sell? Dreamworld is on the rise again thanks to coast, and they wouldn’t dare sell now. If they ever sell, it would be due to bankruptcy.
  17. Can't wait to play the new version of dodgeball! Also would help ease traffic...
  18. I was thinking of saying that, but I refrained from it, because although the feet aren't there, I'm sure there will be many more thematic elements considering what they've been doing recently with the likes of Jungle Rush and Rivertown.
  19. Definitely agree there. The Claw was imposing, but with the entrance right in front of you as you walk down mainstreet, and the arm swinging out in front of you, it will sure be pretty crazy. It's also nice to have a different view now. The theming and colour scheme of King Claw also seem to fit in much better with ocean parade than The Claw ever did.
  20. Interesting stuff! It looks like it will have a very different queue line to the claw, and there will be a different sign on top of it. I love the theming of it!
  21. It would be cool, but next time you go past the motorway, just look at the gold coaster. It will be bigger than that. However, I’m just worried it may pull a lot of attention, and IMO, I like it because it’s not normally too busy. With everyone knowing it exists, and with it being the largest gyro swing in the world, it may become one of the busiest rides.
  22. I honestly Don't know what to feel about this. As long as they keep the claw's name (King Claw is fine too), and they keep the theming it would be fine. I doubt they would do this within the next year though. As @Tricoart said, I would also expect this to be a 2026 thing. It would be cool to have another record at Dreamworld though, and it would definitely boost their advertisments. I do worry though about the size of it. It may just be me, but it seems a little big. Imagine going past the motorway and you see the claw raising it's arm above gold coaster.
  23. It would be great if this had a wild/soft style, one that went 120 degrees or 360 degrees, like Serpent slayer or Sledge Hammer 360 at Luna Park Sydney. I highly doubt they would get rid of the theme of the ride, and instead just replace it and keep the name etc. It makes sense with The Claw having it's 20th Birthday this year.
  24. I somewhat doubt it will be a water coaster. Although it would be cool, I feel like if it is anything water related, DW doesn't need another coaster, with them already having 3 major ones, one kiddie coaster, and a brand new coaster being built, which will soon total to 5. Besides, we already have Storm at SeaWorld. I could see some sort of log flume however being built.
