Someone's got to fill in for Daniel!! I want some funny and all these boards are is just a bunch of people who take seriously funny jokes seriously. Some people laugh about Michael Jackson's surgery, others think its discrimination, now if you can find the similarities between this and what we're talking about i'm sure you'll understand, and then when that happens, you can tell me what i'm going on about.

Maybe from all the steel left over from the Bid Dipper they could construct something, seeming it is no longer running due to the appartment residents... NEWS FLASH - The Big Dipper is going to Dreamworld, and suggestions have been made to call it Cow-ster, stay tuned for more ground-breaking news that is five years too late...... Now let's see how many people take my sarcasm the wrong way. Time to get that Java counter out.

Hmm..... sounds like those electricians have sabotaged section #2!!!! Either that or no-one has taken their pills yet... Anyone else have photos of "When jokes go bad at roller-coaster.com.au?"

Hopefully this weekend you'll find that The Claw will be actually in its testing phases, such as actually swinging. This was just quickly posted so it was "easier" to find the crap that I say.... But to my knowledge all seats have been now bolted on and a lot of the welding jobs on the steel work has finally finished. So there you go, now post in retaliation MUAHAHAHAHAHA! *cracks whip*

And who's that pointed to? Me or LPS. For both, the answer is simple, soggy newspaper on a stick.

Good for you mate. Daniel?

Well....... sometimes you don't have time to click and wait, especially on a shared adsl. That's just life.

It is the Mondial Ultra Max, found at www.mondialrides.com . Now that would be cool.
-
Well its not as if we're in a hurry as such..... Oh I just remembered, the first Claw tests will be done this weekend!!!!!! So it will hopefully be swining by Sunday, but that's about it though, not actually opening for any of you "dolts" or anything.....

I think some people have very large imaginations. One word, meh.

Sports Carnivals. Beauty. Seeming I wasn't in anything, and "team spirit" just means sitting on a grass hill exposed to the "elements", I'd rather be in LPM than at school. Besides, it was optional anyway!!

No it doesn't. It swings 110 degrees each way.

If you look closely I would say it was the author's intent to make the photo like that.

Obviously not. Some of the Dreamworld ride-ops are the most funniest people. Yesterday I was on an E-brake on the Tower and they both jumped out going "e-brake, ooh yeah, half an hour brake, ooh yeah, e-brake..." actually I forget the song now but the point is is that some Dreamworld ride-ops and Wonderland ride-ops are the coolest people i've ever met. "...How did you know about the Cherry Picker....... oohh, I bet you you're that Slick guy aren't you?" "...Yeah the one that knows too much and has funny photos of Dreamworld stuff..." "...Yeah, it's a tough life, but some one has to annoy the crap out of the admin....and ride-ops...."

TOT -"Yeah, i'm just afraid it'll stop at the top and we'll be stuck up there." -"So how fast does this thing go." "I Think it was about 260 kilometres." -"I hope we don't blast of the top of the tower!!" Wipeout -"Yeah there was this once where they were stuck upside down for 3 hours." -"If there's no power they just leave you there." Thunderbolt -"I remember when it got stuck upside down for an hour and then they sent a man up there to get everyone out." -"last one just less pathetic" -"the reason why they closed it was because one of the trains fell off the track." There all the ones I can think off the top of my head. Must play counter-strike now!

We went on a Sunday and the place was empty. The only thing that had a "real" wait was Goldrush of about 5 minutes. The CCCC had no wait whatsoever, so we got about 15 rides in about an hour.

You know there's a saying that rove says that...... WHAT THE...????

That way they can build up the suspense......

Hmmmm... yes quite.

Especially the dome cinema! That thing was horrible on the neck, and the quality of video was terrible (probably because it was made from Real Player )!!!

On Friday it was like a very bad headache, Saturday afternoon when I was waiting with ops for the GD's power to come back on I began to have a very intense cough. Apparently now I have a viral infection, and are still very sick.

Hey joz, you've never noticed the emergency stairs everyone uses now? Everything else though is fully understandable though, the dilema having to wait another 3 minutes just because one little toddler is too small to ride is just unreasonable. This was also a problem for TOT once when a great friend was operating. A large group of indian people (11 to be exact) joined up with two people at the front of the line, making a lot of noise and testing the ride-ops perseverance (hopefully I nailed that one) and finally when they came through there was one boy who was too small, but they let him through to go up with his mum but not ride. But the little boy didn't understand what was going on so when the gates opened and he was about to be seperated from the group he just erupted into tears, his mum was eager to go on, so they had to unlock the harnesses, then they spoke to the boy for quite a number of minutes, then finally on of the ride-ops had to stay with the boy behind the gates. Nightmares sometimes just to get one ride.

Hi everyone, sorry about not giving any two cent coins this week but I have had some major illnesses since Friday. But that didn't stop me going to dw on saturday, ooohh, and I have a couple of photos except, I will be posting them on Saturday because I will be near my lovely friend ADSL which makes life easier. Well I guess we've all heard about about Queensland's big 700 mil upgrade in power and funny thing was that on Saturday Dreamworld was quite severely affected. The Log Flumes were all jammed up on the first lift hill, but the new lift construction did come in handy said the ride-op at the time. Then there was Cyclone, which had its train stuck halfway up the lift hill and had to have a ride-op sent up to manually release the harnesses and get everyone down. Luckily I was able to venture into areas of "staff only" origin and there is some seriously whacked stuff under the Cyclone queue line, ahem, moving on..... Giant Drop had both side's winches stuck somewhere on the tower, one was on the magnets the other was sitting at the top. River Rapids was fully drained, not to mention that one of the Rapid cars were half-sunk in the river! And the park had hundreds of screaming guests which I also have photos of and plenty more, but you have to wait for photos. Buh-bye

Dreamworld's new attraction is made official
Slick replied to Richard's topic in Theme Park Discussion
While a long name, I thought that maybe ThunderBolt Vengence might be an interesting theme idea. Now before you get your pitchforks out, Dreamworld still have one of the trains and one piece of track left, which they are going to use as scenery somewhere so you can hop into it and get your photo taken on it. So the "Vengence" would be this overkill of ThunderBolt and that the nature of the ride (the spinning etc.) would create a whirlwind causing one of the trains to be sucked into the themeing. Sorry, that makes no sense, I have had the biggest headache I have ever had this weekend and the GD just sparked it yesterday, go figure.
