If you want performance, graphics and realism, then I suggest NL. It's a lot more difficult to learn, but boy is it worth it, even without theming! I guess it really all comes down to personal preference...

NL is more a ride simulator than a park simulator... 1. You can theme them, although it is much more difficult IMO and you usually have to make the theming yourself, unless you can find some on the internet floating around. 2. Yes, I think it's definitely harder than RCT3 as you have to completely 'sculpt' the track, not just pick pre-defined pieces. It's definitely much more accurate, but time consuming, and requires patience. 3. If you buy NL Coaster v1.6, it includes Euro-Fighters, Vekoma Motorbikes, and Intamin Hyper Coasters which you can add a LIM Launch. As far as I know, there isn't a launch coaster with Intamin's new OSTR's. Hope that helps you out, I highly recommend NL, although try the demo first. It's significantly harder to get the hang of compared to RCT3.

Well I use Soaked with some funky patch from Atari, and I get billboards, which are included with Wild!... Soaked does come with Motorbike Coasters, but no Euro-Fighters...

I don't know if a Screamin' Swing would be a good ride to theme to Happy Feet, purely because Happy Feet is a kids movie IMO. I wouldn't mind one though!

I love the side ones, I've seen lots of people graze their elbows on the sides. Do they still tell you to put your hands behind you head or is it across your chest on your shoulders as many US Parks instruct? It'd solve the grazed elbow problem anyway...

Sorry for all these unnecessary posts, but I have to agree, 'Rappin' is crap! DANCE MUSIK 4 LYF SPAM SPAM SPAM! Nah, seriously though, it's good to see they've started to have regular events, and not just teen oriented ones... Now all we need is to have WWW open at night, how good would that be? Huge event at both parks or something... What could they do instead of Dive-In Movies?
-
Define: FFT?
-
Any idea who the DJ's on the night will be? Four people at $25 sounds promising, have they fixed the crowd problem yet?
-
Yay thanks! I love the way they hint things indirectly through the questions, although most are already obvious to members.

Great photos, a bit disappointed mine didn't make it although the one's you took are much more vivid. Great to hear you'll be covering DW & WWW again!

Meh, don't believe half the things I see on Wikipedia... A while back on the MW page it said they were getting Wonderland's Space Probe... They got the 60m bit right at the least. The rapids are half-decent, but I doubt I'd miss them, and seeing though Gold Rush Town is declining fast it mightn't be a wise move, unless the replaced it with something even better!

Only 20 metres? I swear that someone said we were getting a second-hand one from somewhere in Japan that was 30 metres... :S

^That looks AMAZING! I love the idea of transparent water slides passing through aquariums etc! Wow! Truly amazing! Definitely visiting if I ever get a chance!

^Because if they named it the Titans' Tornado you'd have all sorts of licensing issues and Bronco's fans *cough* would boycott the park! 'Tornado' isn't really an original name, but at the end of the day, if it's a good ride, it doesn't matter too much to the GP IMO...

*Pointless Post* Mmm, custard... Is it a whole building or just a 'background/set' if you know what I mean?

Not everyone can be bothered looking through all the posts, and they're a new member... I myself usually only use the recent posts section on the front page. -
That's not fair the place looks almost empty! When we went you couldn't even get a tube for the CoW, there were a few but some mental case of a kid had them all to himself and I wasn't going to risk trying to take one. When I went they did have two ops running STHC and they did have two rafts on the loading platform at a time. Kind of added to the suspense a bit IMO seeing tho you were seated in the tube, but you didn't know when it was going to dispatch. Seen some great facial expressions on people as the tubes start to move!

Long? Well maybe, but you can't complain. I'd much rather a long one to a shorter one any day providing it wasn't just one huge un-punctuated block of text. I didn't have a problem with reading it at all.

Great report and some awesome photos! You're daring taking your camera on PP, I wouldn't risk it. The day I was the lines were huge so I couldn't get any photos from the towers. Glad to hear you had a good time though.

What I meant was where did you get your information from? Otherwise I've overlooked something... I guess a new ride concept is good, even if it's only a family ride, it's still a coaster and it should be half-decent too. -

Eh? What makes you say that? -

Well what else could they be for if they're not something to do with a new ride? -
The 'Shack' is at White Water World between the Cave of Waves and the Green Room splashdown.
-
Yeah, I noticed that when I was at WWW the other day. The only thing the show has going for it is that one of the 'Hosts' is a graduate of my high school. Never really either of the shows though...

Then what's the point in having a Subscribers-Only Forum if they're just going to tell everyone what it says? I know, maybe you could subscribe, then you would be able to see what it said? See the logic? Easy money!
