  1. look this is our options for the 15mill mark: B&M looping: http://www.rcdb.com/ig2504.htm?picture=26 wooden: http://www.rcdb.com/ig3183.htm?picture=8 And by the way, arguing is not going to achieve anything. Zane.
  2. I think Aussie needs a Wooden coaster, manufactured either by Intamin or Great Coasters International, one could easily fit into the back area behind Scooby. woody.zip
  3. what day would you suggest to go (again ) which is the lest busiest day? Zane.
  4. "Well, the ones at SW are on top of each other" true. "And anyway, I never gave a specific location. I don't think they would care where it went as the rides at MW don't seem to follow any sort of pattern anyway" there is no where else to put it except in that area. It would be cool if they did open a Simpsons land and had a river rapids ride theme to the polluted river where Bart cached Blinky (the three eyed fish) in the "Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish" episode. Zane.
  5. Its definitely true about the noise, that's why the drop has a scream shield on one side. I personally don't think MW would add another water ride right next to Wild west falls, but you never know? although it would be cool to have a highly themed river rapids And for the available area/land, there is a "HUGE" amount of space behind the scooby-doo ride building, its so big it could fit a few "lands" in it. "I'm hopeing for an indoor family ride to take the place of the old western show stage. Perhaps a Dark ride? " Scooby-doo dose a good job at this. I would love to see a B&M coaster behind scoody-coo.
  6. There wont be any major rides that's for sure, because the area behind the park is all residential, they are complaining about the noise Wild west falls makes which is hardly noisy at all? If it weren't for the whining neighbors a good screamin swing would fit nicely in there \ S&S power swing
  7. I didn't see the brakes off ride, but when I was on the ride it looked like they where just the typical metal friction plates, and from what I can remember (wasn't paying much attention lol)they had hoses going to each plate? if true they are electromagnetic, but I cant see the main brake run having brakes that can fail? I suspect there rare earth magnets like all there (Intamim) other coasters.
  8. Anyone noticed the brakes on this coaster? there like metal plates and don't look magnetic but when the coaster brakes it makes the sound of magnetic brakes (whoosh) I think they might be friction brakes? I don't know. Zane.
  9. "will it get over the last hill with more ease" Hard to say, just have to wait for now
  10. Hi all just some footage of Intencity sorry about the poor quality and the moving about (was in a rush) and using my phone camera http://ridehost.com/uploads/Intencity.mp4 Zane.
  11. Once you get off you will want to ride it again (but you have to get on first hahahah) its very addictive (the launch) bye the way the first too cars provide the most airtime (being ejected form seat) but that pack provides constant speed (I would go for the back seats if I were you)
  12. The most major sensations are being pushed into your seat as well as being ejected for it, you really cant prepare for this experiance but your sure in for a wild ride! (especially the launch) leathal weapon was my first coaster (I was 8 when I first went on it) I suggest too go on that first and if you like it try his buddy next door (aka superman) good luck (by the sounds of it you just might need it ) Zane.
  13. I'm 6'2 and very thick boned (not fat) it was a tight fix but the only part that was very uncomfortable was my feet (size 15 shoe lol) the ride ops don't have a clue how to run the thing, everything looks rushed to be finished, there is still no sound effects for the station launch which they said it would have (apart form the accumulator pumps buzzing right under your feet ) Don't rush to ride this piece of "cr**" its truly a - "family thrill ride where the whole family can also sleep and ride at the same time, its a world first!" I would rather runaway raptor ride to be serious
  14. I also rode it today (2nd ride ) the launch is cool but the back/spine support hurt my back when it did launch. the ride is very smooth though as you expect of intamin but the overall ride layout design after the first 2 hill's absolutely "suck" its really boring the last hill was "were going to stall" sort of thing. the station is very budget as with everything else (e.g the Que) they really should have like a smoking tyre effect when it launches or something to make it a bit more exiting and intriguing. 6/10. Zane.
  15. one or more of the LSM (linear synchronized motors) that line the lower section of the track and which launch the surf board are probably becoming out of sync that's the usual problem with new LSM/LIM coasters but they usually work out the "glitches" pretty fast. Good to hear great ride experiences coming from peoples, it beats that other "new" (crappy) coaster hands down. Here's a bit more on LSM/LIM: LSM/LIM explanation and my corny pic of what they do Zane.
  16. are you talking in mph or kmh because You don't even pull 1G going from 0-60mph in 3sec? anyway back on topic, it would of been better launching at 80km/h or even 75km
  17. Yeah the launch dose have a lot of "grunt" in it clocking in at 1.02G's on launch, that's only 0.40G less than superman! and we can also finally get the correct length of the launch track which is 20 meters, and then if you add the extra 10-15 flat track after the launch (where the empty brackets sit) it is around 30-35 meters in total length. It looks cool but boring Thank you Richard! Zane.
  18. Look at dreamworlds website page for updated motocoaster page its pretty cool! Motocoaster official page I will be definitely going tomorrow!
  19. That is exactly what I was thinking it looks a bit weired having a giant cat jumping up to grad nothing and for the support behind it, Its there to stay frog hopper tree support
  20. Well the mystery is no more, the new coaster is called Fahrenheit official page It looks AWSOME and best of all its a intamin! take a look! Zane.
