  1. See that's the one thing that seems to be lacking since the new management. While cheap passes on the whole I think have been good, I think they could stand to be a bit pricier, not like the days wherer the parks were way too expensive for what they were. Whatever we've been over it a million times. I think what's really lacking is the CEO walking through the park, seeing something tacky like that and saying 'What the fuck is that? Get rid of it!'

  2. Well at least that sort of makes more sense than the previous version

  3. Ok well I'm gonna go against the grain and say I am disappointed with the new show. I mean they brought the storyline back and made a few corny attempts at humour with a couple of cops, but it's still just 20 minutes of burnouts. All the other good stunts have been pulled, such as the 3 cars balancing on 2 wheels simultaneously (which was my fave from HSD1) and the dummy car being shot in half. There were a couple of buggy jumps and a fireball but the rest was still just your run of the mill skidding around, 'near miss' stunts. Watch footage of the first one on YouTube again and you'll see how much is missing and how much better it was with an ongoing comic relief character (Marty) etc. My conclusion... better than the temp show, but still not as good as the first and nowhere near as good as Police Academy.

  4. https://www.facebook.com/AdventureWorldOfficialPage/videos/vb.92438924563/10153280084799564/?type=2&theater&notif_t=notify_me Mark is doing the CEO sleepout for charity here in Perth. Would be good if people from here could get behind him. (brief mention of the $7 million slide again in the video)

  5. One already has... Given Spotty is a former ride operator who has conducted the morning 'track walk' - I'd be comfortable in considering him one of the 'experts' on the subject in this forum. An integrated track \ effect control system has layers of complexity that clearly aren't needed. When all you need is an 'invisible eye' trigger for each effect, why do to the effort of having computer controlled sensors integrated into the ride control? Justice League is a different kettle of fish. Clearly - the ride control is integrated - hence why you can get a score, which is also imprinted on your ride photo, plus the triggering of both physical motion effects as well as video screens means a lot more is required than just 'breaking a beam' - however Scooby's effects are far more simplistic, as well as the fact that it is around 10 years older than JL... why complicate things that don't need to be?
