  1. Open all 3 rides same time with a massive bang!!! 😁
  2. Argh.. sorry. Yes I do see what you mean. When I read Bridge I didn't think of flight control but an actual bridge. Ops My bad. Still think it's a cool part of story which most public wouldn't pick. 👍😁
  3. Yes but they covered themselves as they says something about "tell them it's prisoner transportation". Till they get busted and retreat.
  4. Tech issues for a brand new ride opening I could understand. But 8 month late opening tech issues when the delay wasn't even ride related. 🤔
  5. I am excited for the triple launch but I think it being add on to existing model will be a let down and here is why. Blue fire uses the whole launch to get to it's desired speed of first turn, and this is the same length of track that DW coaster is using. However because it's doing a triple launch it won't accelerator the whole way as it needs to reverse. (Even see the launch track on the video they don't go whole way). So the launch will be somewhat slow and then coast down the length before reverse. Then do same back before final launch to speed BF runs to make the hill. The small amount of LSM launch track could give underwhelming launch fitting to an existing design that uses LSM the whole length. Hope I'm wrong. I'd also prefer a half loop design rather than the corkscrew. The hang time at the back would be awesome and make more exciting. But that's just my opinion. Also the mid track brake run. Being Australia will probably only get 2 trains I'd prefer to see an element in here. Also the first hill will look cool above SV when viewing from main Street. Edit- just noted alot of my points were stated in the parkz main post. Great minds something something...
  6. I believe and answer I had for a different question would suit here. Answer I got is that if the last carriage had a 2nd last row of seats they may collide heat rests with the carriage in front (last forward facing seats) when it goes through its tight dips and twists.
  7. Testing has started!!!!! Well on the lighting anyways. On way home today they had crews playing with coloured purple spot lights on the Stengel dive supports. Looked awesome!
  8. I hope they have 3 trains, and then always use 2. That way you can have one in for maintenance at all times and the coaster will always be a 2 train system.
  9. Looking at this photo has me wondering. Why not have 4 seats backwards at the back. Looking at the space around the seats I wonder if the last row can rotate and run forward. Hence the need for extra clearance. Otherwise why not put in an extra forward or backward row. "And you can ride it back backwards" for some extra cash...... ???
  10. Yes that's the area. It looks live a very sharp twist. It could be the angle of view from the road but it looks like a fast transition.
  11. Man that last twist installed to go from left to right hand bend looks nasty.
  12. Dropped past MW this morning with the DSLR for some snap. Nothing new in the way of construction photos but i thought some might like to see some of my shots anyway When going past on way home there is another piece of track added to the spaghetti bowl. Too dark to get a decent shot.
  13. Here is a comparison to Green lantern at 108ft. This "thing" will be almost double green lantern height.
  14. If they do a Non-inverting loop, I wonder if the coaster will have any inversions at all? That is as long as you don't count the current turn around as an inversion.
  15. Show your SUPPORT guys. They are everywhere. Definitely and loop or non inverting loop going in just before current installed track. Sorry for phone low light poor pics.
  16. I did post the photos of blade runner. However I don't think it will be the theme. Even big bosses of movieworld recently said that DC theme stuff is a more timeless and dosent age as quickly as one off movies like the recent madmax. It also doesn't sell as well to public. I'd like to see it themed to DC sirens. Catwoman, Poison ivy and Harley quinn. The pink/magenta coaster could tie the feminine theme together. Also to keep the theming interesting without going nuts I'd do 3 viewing rooms in the queue with statues like poison ivy in the villian area. But have a section for each character. Add a speaker and voice changer and have staff make fun of the public from the characters perspective. Always funny to be told your hat is ugly etc from a statue your not expecting to talk to you. Simple to do. Fun and interactive. As for having big name characters needing grand theming. Batman's ride currently in the park has almost zero themeing, And that name doesn't get much bigger for WB and DC. If I was able to blank canvas the project I'd would have liked it to be a Batman ride. I think the Mack trains look like a little like batman tumber at the front. The two biggest coasters in the park would be the two biggest DC names and before anyone says they wouldn't do two batman themed rides, It didn't stop them putting in batwing when they had the batman motion sim. But! It's fuschia!! Still looks good. I'll stop rambling now.
  17. Found these colours interesting in the new Warner Bros Blade Runner movie due out soon.
  18. It's a twisty hill (technical terms now) Just went past. No invert there.
  19. I'm no expert but with them working on the braking area I'd say these supports are for the return to station not the bottom of first drop. Maybe they will complete the circuit from where the current track is to the brake run before starting on the higher sections which will need larger cranes.
  20. Looking at the skyline of the park and everyone saying it will be the height of batwing at 200ft. Now its hard to imagine 200ft lift hill out the front of the park. Batwing (200ft) as a comparison is further back from where the lift hill will be and therefore looks smaller. So I have done a quick Photoshop and doubled the height of Green lantern (108 ft) give or take a few ft and doubled it in height to show where the lift hill height will roughly be.
  21. Few follow up shots just now. Another piece installed. Also not the angle of the support to turn back over that dive. The angle is almost 90 degs and will create and awesome head chop!
  22. My mistake. Thought you were calling the current track part of the turn around. All good
  23. Current track is not in the turn around area. The bottom of the hill where current track is would be the start of the turn around section.
