Maybe they are expanding people around the park, because I have noticed you get alot of clusters in certain areas of the park. Last time I went to dreamworld I notice they were building new paths, leading to the area you described. I think its good where they are building, they are expanding there park, and you never know, it could become a whole new 'world' (ok that may be pushing it) but other attractions may be erected in that area in the future.

free advertising... im sorry but do you watch when the show the starts up, especially evictions, 'AND NOW LIVE FROM DREAMWORLD' yeah I think they advertise the place enough just as the show starts, showing the claw, and the sphere with the halo at the end

OMG! WHY ARE THE FORUMS SO DEAD! The parks seem to have gone really silent lately and from what I hear not much construction has been going on. Will be exciting when track pieces start getting layed down

Oh now something is wrong if thrill history is covering this more than us. You see IMO I think the reason the forums have gone dead is because noone has been really visiting the parks lately (on holidays). I know reading other posts that when a ride is being constructed and one of us is on holidays there we take pics straight away and post them. long time no postie postie.... Im not sure but who actually said the ride was closed due to structural issues with the ride? Was it in an article or anything? As someone said earlier on this pages (page 3) it could also be a change of lay out or theming? I just wish we ALL knew what was really going on with this ride.

Just watched the SHAK. Today's episode was all mainly about attractions at dreamworld and whitewater world. The used the wipeout and showed cassowaries, and show on ride footage of the slides in the whitewater world. Something a bit ridiculous I found was that they were saying the hydrocoaster coasts 60 mil. I think they meant to say the park was 60 mil. Anyway, anyone else watch it?

hmm interesting, I have never noticed the blur, next time I am up I will have a look. The last time I was there but you could barely hear superman speak, and when u were in the 2nd car you couldn't even hear him, just the catch car latch on. So the mirrors have been removed? When did this happen?

lol u bet me to the punch. I was gunna say, uncle took pictures of it and you can see the engine room at the end of the track, also can see pulleys along the track AND AND you can hear the cable go through the pulleys... oh thats an awesome sound

Serious! I spent 100 and rode non stop from 10 till 2 last time I went, and I got 2 rides on the wild mouse coaster and the one that use to b a sea world.

Mach V... the center slides, I have seen so many accidents on this. Last time I was there I saw SIX children get off this ride crying, not because they were scared... because they got airborn and smacked there head on the slide. I however really like it though, even if you do end up with welts on your back afterwards:)

Its like the Back to the Future: The Ride at Universal Studios. There has been talk of the ride closing, not all the stages for the ride are operating anymore and the ride is in terrible state, they are saying they are going to close the ride down and replace it with a Simpson's themed ride... hmmm?

Correct me if I am wrong, but in TAFE we were talking about hydraulic motors, my teacher said Hydraulic motors are the most efficient of motors and engines out there, with a high amount of torque... he said it all depends on the pump size, number of hydraulics in the system and the load its pushing or pulling. Not sure if he is right or not. I though LIM and LSM were pretty much the same thing?
