  1. 1. I don't know one Theme park in Australia that does it. 2. DW just made a 90 million dollar lost. 3. The faux-facades examples you show serve a purpose because it’s scaffolding safety wrap. The wrapping would have been there regardless and Disney print on it to make it look nice. 4. Disney run fences like DW too. 5. Scaffolding cost. $2800 for 4 m metre scaffold, 1.3m wide x 2.5m long A. DW would require 63m (I’ll round it down to 50) B. 50/2.5x2800 = $56000. (did I mention that’s a week) If DW required scaffolding with wrap for a long period of time they might do it also.
  2. Why waste the money on building a fake facade only to tear it down again?
  3. That's a nice river in the background. Does it come in any other colour?
  4. @Brad2912 why don't Lego people like going to the hospital? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Because plastic surgery is expensive.
  5. Did your parents kick you out of home and you need a place to sleep?
  6. It's not the point and it doesn't need to be MW focus. (MW can fix their shortcomings and move on). Slick makes some good points with stripping out the shed. I have a new code for MW success. Strip it. Fill it. (endless option) Match it. (turn it into an indoor themed world) Picture this: It’s raining cats & dogs and Timmy and his sister Tammy are bored and have nowhere to play or go when Timmy’s dad, Tommy remembers MW have an indoor kids world (with a min of 4 rides and other activities😊) they can enjoy in all weather. The family go to MW and spend loads of money. Now picture this: It’s raining cats & dogs and Paul and his sister Paulene are bored and have nowhere to play or go when Paul’s dad, Peter remembers DW doesn’t have an indoor kids’ world, so they stay home and spend no money at DW.
  7. How shit are those props? History lesson for Ardent, this is not a point of difference because the train hold up was once a thing.
  8. See Skeet had the idea that MW DC direction focused on the wrong age demographics. Teen Titans might have been a cool to bring the DC theme into the park and the main DC theme should have only been in one themed area. MW do have an issue of it not big enough to justify having 20 different license deals going at once, but I would hope MW are smart enough to create some generic movie themed areas that don’t require doing a license deal. MW already have a well themed Wild West area crying for some loving which that could easily add a ride to that wouldn’t require paying a 2nd party. MW could have another themed area paying tribute to horror flick and by FrightNight success people would embrace it. Back to Kids If MW are set on keeping “Bugs no friends” than MW should take a leaf out of DW book (did I just say that) and have 2 kids areas. One for 1 to 5 and one for 6 to 10.
  9. Because you didn't solve the clues I'll give you the answer. Bye Looney Tunes Bye, Bye Looney Tunes No more Looney Tunes. @themagicianWarner Bros don't do bugs bunny anymore so why should MW?
  10. Why do you continue to not listen to me.😝 Looney Tunes is dead. Since 2013 WB has a group dedicated to theatrical animated films so I am hopeful the pickings will get stronger for MW. They are making movies like Dr. Seuss The Cat in the Hat. The Lego Movie. The Ice Dragon. ToTo The Wonderful Wizard of OZ. Time for a Disney reference. You don’t go to Disney and only see 40-year-old characters you see a blend of old and new. MW have old, old & more old that kids don’t relate to it. You say Looney Tunes show I say Lego Show.
  11. Bahaha @AlexB you didn't even know @Timeforver was a thing!!!
  12. Here's some clues on what I think needs to happen to the kid’s area. Before I get hate mail a good portion of the kids will be removed before we blow it up. The area is so old parents are taking their kids on rides they rode when they were kids. Problem is things that were cool 27 years ago now remind you of grandma’s house.
  13. If you're having trouble accessing Parkz on the go could I interest you in a Ipad?
  14. Oh you're back @AlexB I want to change my statement. @AlexBwasn't hit by a tank and died.
  15. I'm still shaking my head. Skypoint ranges $75.00 to $105.00. Someone at Village has been on the loopy juice. I would love Village to explain why the Rivals climb is better than Skypoint. I paid $85.00 at Skypoint and the experience took around 90min plus I got a $20.00 dining voucher.
  16. What is the f***ing point of the climb? I prefer the VIP option where I get to sit down all the way to the top.
  17. Problem with people comparing WWW with WnW is: WnW is a standalone park and WWW is a world within DW. You can’t get a one-day pass for WWW anymore. That’s the theory anyway but for Village it’s not how it works. WnW & SW have become a free bonus park when you purchase a 3-park season park. Skeets financial expert radar (which is nil) tells him this giving away 3 theme parks for the price of one is hurting the business. An enthusiast or even a non- enthusiast would benefit if all 3 parks were run separately. 15 Years ago, the Gold Coast had 4 different parks, now the Gold Coast has 2, Village and DW. Village have taken the wrong path in running multiple parks because MW has gone forwards and SW & WnW have gone backwards. The problem is 110% due to the fact the Village treat the parks as one identity now. Back in the “olden days” every time one park received a new addition the other park would react with a new addition of their own but Village thinking these days is we just installed Rivals at MW so that’s our one big ticket item and SW can get a half-ass Jelly exhibit. I’m in full support of Village owning all 3 parks because the sharing of resources can be a good thing in reducing cost, but the sharing of attraction shows & events only hurts everybody. Village have literally turned 3 successful parks into 1 park. Unto DW recently had to give away the gate to get people in the park DW and Village pricing was the same which doesn’t make sense. SW was always a competitor with DW and now it’s a bonus park for MW. Skeets season passes grouping to compete with DW offerings. DW & WWW & Q1 MW & WnW & PC SW & WnW & PC But never MW & SW & WnW & PC. No need to give SW away because MW hold its own and 10 years ago so did SW.
