How awesome would it be! I love looking at them as well. Check out the 'Adam The Woo' channel on YT, he has lots of uploads of abandoned places walkthroughs, including numerous theme parks. Six Flags New Orleans has been one I've followed closely. I forgot to mention in my last post... the new bridge appears to be well and truly completed now. However it's still barricaded off to the public. Not sure why, but it's certainly not helping with the current detouring situation. Does anyone have any ideas why they think Sea World would be delaying it's opening?

Hmm I doubt it. They only just announced the Golf attraction. I dare say they will probably be planning to stagger them a bit, even if it's only by a few weeks

I know exactly what's wrong with ToTII. Water leaked into one of the engines during the massive downpour we had a few weeks ago and killed it. So they have been trying to get it repaired and back up to scratch again, which obviously they are struggling with. I feel for them, being school holidays and all. Not the best time to have one of your thrill rides not co-operating!

You can NEVER have too many rollercoasters. Have you seen how many they have in theme parks overseas? They have entire parks dedicated to rollercoasters. Many of the Six Flags parks are full of them. Not to mention that since the removal of the Thunderbolt, we still don't have a decent sized one that lasts more than a minute or two long (bar SDSC, but it's a small wild mouse and not one of full size) so the Gold Coast is really lacking compared to some of the big impressive coasters overseas. If this new and upcoming Movieworld Coaster is as big and 'world first' as they are claiming it to be, then this could finally be the answer we've been waiting for! Bring it on, I say. I'm so damned excited about this ???

I'm gonna have to strongly disagree with this. For months now, all that has been played in main street is Disney music (both orchestral and movie songs, like Hakuna Matata and Be My Guest) and I strongly dislike it, as does hubby. In our opinion the music was heaps better when it was top 40 pop music, especially when it's the area where you're walking into the park and feeling pumped and excited. I know that Dreamworld was originally made as an re-imagination of a Disney Park, but it's long since changed and gone down its own path. As @The Original Belinda Brown previously mentioned, it has become a park to celebrate Australia and also emphasises and prides itself on being a park for thrill rides (ie. The Big9). So why oh why are we playing classical old Disney music in main street? I actually posted this same feedback on Dreamworld's FB page a few months back, but the post for some reason never saw the light of day. Please bring the top 40 dance and pop music back for this area. It suits the modern Dreamworld a lot more than what's playing now. It's Dreamworld, not Disneyland. Be proud of being the unique park that you are and we all have come to know and love ??❤️❤️
