  1. That promotional picture was really poor and made it look pretty basic.
  2. Maybe the profits will go towards MW's next ride/attraction BTW how much would these be worth?
  3. Yep, thats what the article says.
  4. Using a sarcasm smiley would have helped.
  5. And It can't be to expensive to fix. They are only speakers.
  6. It says that the discount is 50% Cheers
  7. Wow! I was just about to post up the exact same thing. They sure are discounting heavily and making many money saving deals over at WVTP. How are they going attendance wise?
  8. Remember Whitsy that we as paying customers have the right to complain and ask for better service (or guest experience in this case) if it is below par. The entry fee is already high so once inside the gates all guest should be getting top quality customer service, attractions and entertainment.
  9. Well when I went on, some things were not working. I did not say they were off all day but the post regarding my experience 2 Sundays ago was directly relating to the time I rode during the day. I agree with Gazza's post above, each guest should get the same experience each time. I cannot say how the effects are as of today but when I went they wern't all that great. Cheers to WVTP if they have fixed up the problems.
  10. The reverse drop follows directly after entering the mountain for the first time.
  11. Yeah but swimming in the ocean is a totally different experience.
  12. He is ripping off Wet'n'Wild Why would anyone be so determined to bring the virtual racing cars to Australia. I mean come on they aren't that great and people can just go to a shopping to get a simplified version.
  13. Yeah I don't understand why the drinks aren't included in the already outrageously high meal price. Soft Drink is so cheap these days.
  14. Holy Cow The savings are just getting better and better. Become a myfun member (free of charge) and you can get into MW $6.05 cheaper than DW. Now thats a bargin.
  15. Mmm, I wonder when or if it will ever happen. It seems to me that they don't really care anymore which is annoying seeing such a waste of potential of what could be such a great ride.
  16. I rode on Sunday. The first time was OK but still gave my head a beating. Second time round was absolutely terrible. I spent the whole ride shielding my head from the sides of the harness and wishing the ride would end. IMO the maintenance has done nothing, time for some new restraints.
  17. Just got back from my first trip to Sea World and am now thinking I might have to change my list around . Corkscrew was smooth but really short. There was only one guy running the ride all day so cycles took a relatively long time. Jet Rescue however was absolutely fantastic, amazing ride, very fun, very enjoyable, very satisfying. I went on it about 15 times and loved it. The right hand turn after the second launch throws your neck around though if you aren't prepared for it. The banked s-bends were very fast and I could really feel the g's.
  18. I went to MW on Sunday it was working, what about today? A few thoughts from when I rode, The mechanical Scooby just before the lift had the light on and mouth moving. The Disco room had no visible smoke which left the track very visible. The lasers were good but would have been better with fog. They had a new laser I had not seen before that sort of traced over the hairpins and then waved across the room. As previously mentioned the spider is really well done and is welcome addition. The last room had lights on Scooby but he wasn't working, which looks really bad when you can hear the talking but he is motionless. The laser on the final drop wasn't working and was just a red light, though some really small bits were lit up on the spooky arch. On the left hand side of the arch on the floor I noticed what I think was a temporary smoke machine. It was a large rectangular, plastic bottle filled with liquid and from the lid area ran a small tube which fed into something else. Anyway there was only a small wisp of smoke coming from the rig which did nothing except leave a sort of sweet choking smell in the room and the brake run.
  19. It probably didn't change during the two rides, correct me if I am wrong but I doubt it. Re the speed, The end drop is 20m and travels at 70kmph.
  20. Interesting stuff, 7th place world wide is excellent. How much bigger land wise is Typhoon Lagoon compared to WnW? I would love to see that list with every major themepark and waterpark in the world included; I wonder where MW or DW would place.

I don't what it is but it still can't be played in the simulator. The track file comes up but when loaded in the simulator it just goes to the main menu.

Ok, I have updated Raw hide and here is the new version. The ride is now complete with Terraforming but remember it is my first coaster to be fully terraformed so expect errors. All g-spikes have now been fixed and the g's only get to yellow about once or twice and it is only for a split second. Some minor improvements have also been made to the ride to make it smother. Please download and give feedback wherever possible. Thanks and Cheers Raw_Hide.zip
  24. Don't forget Expidition Everest and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Now they would be two pretty sweet themed coasters to have in Australia.
