  1. Just because one entrance is from the DC villains area, doesn't mean they can't enter from one of the emergency exit points or such which would completely bypass the DC area and negate the licensing issues...
  2. Given that the designs for the characters in the JL3D ride and the Superman costume are based on The New 52 Justice League... Batman, Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, The Atom, Element Woman, Firestorm, Shazam, Lex Luthor, Captain Cold, Power Ring Take out what they already have... Batman, Superman, Green Lantern... They currently have costume characters of Flash and Wonder Woman... Funnily enough Supergirl was not in the original New 52 but was in the Justice League United version where a lot of the others weren't... Not being a water ride I doubt Aquaman would be a fit... I would also think for a large coaster they would go with a more well known character... Due to location I also doubt a villian would be chosen unless it is something more tied into Darkseid vs JL... Flash or Wonder Woman are my bets... To a smaller degree Cyborg and Supergirl...
  3. Damn you @reanimated35... Just purchased and now trying to figure out how to tell the wife... Actually... I do the budgeting... She need not know
  4. Black fence poles are being put in today... Placed around swamp area bent towards swamp
  5. WTF Happened here!!!! The stand was a seasonal food outlet. Usually only ran from September to end of January.
  6. Wear something similar to what you would see people working in that department wearing.
  7. Movie World is usually $20 a photo or you can get an unlimited digital photos for the day bracelet for $45 I believe... I would think Sea World and Wet n Wild would be the same or very similar...
  8. Got to admit... Tempted... Very tempted... I'll see how next week starts off and look again
  9. For anyone interested... They are looking for a Lego Store Manager on indeed
  10. Or just let people access near the ride as @reanimated35 has said and have a large sign stating "Elite and Premier member special event access" People want to complain...
  11. But didn't they also say they would get a special viewing of the Nick beach area before the official opening... I know Scooby was doing an hour or so each afternoon for about a month before the official opening
  12. recent: having happened, begun, or been done not long ago; The phrase "a while ago" generally means any time before the present not within the last few minutes. So... Means: A horror movie franchise that was done not long ago but more than the last few months? So perhaps the last few years? Since say 2012 ish? Yeah trying to make sense of it is doing my head in... Time for some lunch me thinks...
  13. My 4yo son is taller than most of the 6yo kids who are at after school care at his kindy... Currently 109cm tall when the average height for a 4yo is approx 101cm... The whole combined must be X tall and be able to X as required is the best way to try and ensure safety... Age is never a completely good indicator of height or cognitive ability especially in younger children...
  14. I could do any ride at any of our GC parkz... Just cannot handle a Merry Go Round... Can't even stand there and watch them operating...
  15. Instead of thinking 3-2-1 why not Hard-Medium-Soft and go something like H-M-H-S... I really do think running more than 2 cycle types is going to be a headache to figure out but that is their issue not ours ... Hopefully they do it better than the current Fast Pass system where people join the Fast Pass lane in JL when the normal queue is 4 rows deep and they still end up waiting almost just as long...
  16. Another one to add... And figured since I'm splashing some cash will finally splurge and pay for my Parkz Crew badge
  17. While everyone is saying that value for money is fantastic, being an ex Night Auditor I work best with facts and figures... Going to borrow from @Theme Park Girl's review and instead of running heaps of quote boxes will put info from her review in italics... You start off your morning at 7.20am, where you drive into your VIP parking spot at the front of the park Unknown dollar value (nothing really) Your tour immediately kicks off with your first of many back of house experiences- a strenuous climb up to the top of Arkham Asylum's lift hill, ... ... before a group photo is taken (no personal cameras allowed to be taken up) ☺️ Unable to price as not otherwise available ... you'll be whisked off to the Village Cafe to recover from your climb with a delicious morning tea, plus a private visit and photo opportunity with the Dark Knight & his Batmobile. We enjoyed fresh fruit & baked pastry/muffin platters with our hot drinks ordered earlier on, which were personally labelled and delivered to us ☺️ Photos shoots with characters are $20 each during the day, drinks from Village Cafe up to $5, most items of food up to $4 as well Next up, the Justice League track walk. Unable to price as not otherwise available Back out into the park again, and it's a short walk over to the rear entrance of the Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster building, ... Unable to price as not otherwise available ... we were instead treated to a sit through of the Green Lantern rollercoaster going through its morning safety check procedures. This was followed by a visit down underneath into its maintenance bay to learn more about its trains, and more interesting ride and park facts. You'll also get to enjoy the very first ride of the day, once the safety checks are completed and she's good to go! Unable to price as not otherwise available Your tour group will be taken into the STARS building kitchen to be introduced to some of the busy kitchen staff, and taste test some of the lovely treats being cooked up. Unable to price as not otherwise available Next, you'll be whisked down to the track of Stunt Driver 2, to check out the back of house areas and meet some of the talented drivers of the show. When the first Stunt Driver show of the morning begins shortly afterwards, a roped off VIP section of seating will be waiting for you and your tour buddies in the audience seating area, complete with cushy padded seats and a prompt visit from a mobiles attendant to deliver you a fresh cup of popcorn. Now this is watching the show in style ? After the show and just before heading off to lunch, the tour Director will take you up to the control room to meet the SFX staff and see the technology used during the Stunt Driver show. This is about half of the perks of the Behind the scenes pass for HWSD2 which is value of $179... Lets call it $80 and be generous... Popcorn is approx $5. Now it's time for lunch at the Dirty Harry bar! A formally set table will be awaiting your arrival, and jugs of water and soft drinks delivered whilst your lunch of choice is freshly prepared. Expect a couple more exclusive special character visits in the meanwhile (in our case, it was Superman and Bugs Bunny!) and more photo opportunities. Average meal from Dirty Harry is approx $15, plus drink $4, 2 more photo shoot opportunities $40 (2x $20) memorabilia bags are handed out, and wristbands for both fast track rides and unlimited ride photos individually handed out. After lunch, you'll be briefly escorted to lockers to store your belongings whilst you enjoy these benefits at your own leisure for the rest of the afternoon, along with a VIP section reserved for the tour group at the 3.30pm parade. Fast track rides $60, unlimited photos $40 , locker for day $10 So that pretty much wraps up what to expect with the Star Tour! So... $283 approx of items you can purchase in the park normally... Then add to that the extra behind the scenes stuff that you cannot do... Worth well more than the remaining $16... * I did not calculate park entry as either way you already have a pass and don't have to pay, or you don't have a pass and have to pay for park entry, and this is a requirement for the tour and not a part of it... ** Now just to get my wife to read this so I can do the tour As an aside to this post... And for anyone else wondering... Spoke to Guest Services regarding the ride fast pass... While I am wanting to do this tour my wife does not and I then have no interest in the rides afterwards... I asked if it was possible to (after the tour was completed) give the fast pass to my wife as she will have been looking after our son all morning while I am on the tour, and I would look after him and she can fast pass rides all afternoon... They confirmed that this is able to be done...
  18. They are also saying Doomsday is a coaster and that's not correct either...
