I'd say maybe more of a rumbling sound. Is there any sounds in there at the moment? It's been ages since I attended.

Seaworlds New Kids Area Announced
Reanimated35 replied to Cooper Olsen's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Lol... Alexander Van Der Blom Prior to this advertisement they advertised it would be open a week before school holidays. We booked accommodation, flights and unlimited passes based on this fact and sure enough it was closed. I've screenshotted this ad and am making a complaint to the ACCC and I suggest everyone does the same. I complained to Sea World and all they gave was an apology. They're happy to take your hard earned though at the expense of your children's disappointment and tears. Disgraceful business practice Sea World.Like · Reply · 1 · 2 hrsGeoff Meers This is false advertising sea world. We went today as it is now school holiday s and Nickelodian land looks nowhere near finished thinking of contacting accc to get you to stop this blatent misleading advertisingLike · Reply · 3 · 19 hrsAlso, looks like it may have originally been planned to open yesterday. -
Eureka Mountain Mine Ride reopening discussion

I wouldn't be so sure yet, I'd be more looking at they "want" to reopen it, but realised for the time being the carnival games aren't making enough money to be viable. I'd say we'll likely see a replacement in that area before the ride reopens. Wouldn't surprise me if it was those stupid sales people from outside the rapids. Although, wheeling in a couple of popcorn machines, churro machines and drinks freezers could be a nice addition to the area. Especially now summer's almost here. -
That's because all he sees is his own posts....

Dreamworlds Next Rollercoaster?

B&M flying coaster, Eureka location, themed to motorbikes. -
Yes it sucks, but isn't it like $150 max to replace the plates at vicroads?

Sea World and Killer Whales
Reanimated35 replied to White Water World's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I don't get it. We go from full words and almost correct grammar to "ur" and "u". I was going to ask who died and made you mod, then I realised the person you were responding to and all was well again. -
Is that the control panel from LTRR?

Great to see someone who's contracted/employed by the park, even in a temp basis for a special event to be a terrible representative for the park and the event itself. I sincerely hope MW find out who this is and terminate their employment prior to the commencement of FN.

Seaworlds New Kids Area Announced
Reanimated35 replied to Cooper Olsen's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Was about to say that looks fine and ready to open, then I realised it was SeaWorld, not Dreamworld -
Really? Never heard that mentioned before. Looked it up and Fan Turn or Fan Curve – A turn on a wooden coaster designed with a sweeping curve from the entrance to the exit of the turn. Fan curves are usually used to describe a change of direction of less than 90-degrees and turn is used to describe a change of direction of 90-degrees or more. Banked Turn – Describes a section of track that is banked (laterally angled) while turning. Designers bank the turns on roller coasters to reduce the lateral G-forces. Do you have anything to back that up, or did you mean to say "I hope there will be a Dead Rising 2 scare zone"?
-
What would you really do for dying light? You can't parkour your way though a maze. Other than that you're looking at generic zombie theme.
-
Oh that's awesome! More stuff to block main street! Just what they need on a busy fright night. They should have moved it to the alley running towards the kids area, or better yet, ditch the crappy show they put on in the arena and stick 2 scare zones/mazes in there and have them exit/enter out each side of the arena. - or there's probably a 3rd exit they could have utilised for it.

Where was it confirmed sorry, I missed that.

Gold Coast almost got Disneyland.

Was it that important to you to be the thread starter that you just couldn't wait until you got home in case someone else created the thread? If you have a phone capable of posting on the forum, you have a phone capable of copying and pasting an article, or at least a link to the article. http://www.goldcoastbulletin.com.au/entertainment/how-the-gold-coast-almost-became-the-happiest-place-on-earth/story-fnj94hgr-1227513359485 The lion-hearted man behind the mouse-eared plan, Runaway Bay-based developer Gordon McAlister, said the 1990s deal was down to formalities when Disney chief executive Michael Eisner pulled out. ... “We got to the last meeting in Burbank, California, when Michael Eisner stepped in and said ‘No, I want to go to China’. ... “We estimated about five million visitors each year, which is small for Disney but huge for us. That was one of the arguments against us, that we would be too small — and yet that’s exactly what Hong Kong Disney turns over. -
Yes.....2.....what overkill..... It could be themed to the care bears and people would still ride it. No one it going to pass up trying a ride just because of the theming around it. It will be an "all new experience", which, depending on what exactly they do with it, might be true. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6PQ49B5Gpw Makes sense enough. Keeping with the V8 Supercars theme, the chain is the cars on the warm up lap, reaching the top of the chain is the beginning of the AZ (acceleration zone), from there the cars complete the circuit and return to the grid. If only they had a transfer track they could theme as pit lane.
