Were the dippin dots on sale this week?

Not at present sorry, I remember a few being out of whack when I went through all the parks to fill my profile. If I get a bit of time later I'll have a look through and see what I can find.

Oh ok. Nah I was looking for pics if it was the bird sign, all good. Was a bit shocked they would have removed that one.

I found it easier to look at the park's listing then just select all the rides in that park, then move on to the next one. At least that way you'll know you're looking at the right location* instead of across the country/world. *although some rides are listed in the wrong parks.

Except for the obvious track you can see. It's just a storage shed in there now. Go poke your head through the door opposite GD next time you're there.

See that disappoints me. They've clearly gone to a lot of effort to theme the buildings so well and then they go and do that with the walls. It would look great if they do the roof and the lights too.

So basically what you're saying is "all" they need to do is rebuild the entire thing? Log ride doesn't need a new path. It just needs some new theming and something to make the journey a little more exciting.

It's possible that the log ride might be done, but it's also possible someone in management either read these forums or actually went on the ride themselves, saw the mushrooms and thought "what the fuck are these doing here?"

What makes you say that about chinatown? Looks like they just put some ads up?

Thank you. Are they not just thrown in some kind of dishwaser type thing? Just on that, if they do make a mini version of the rides, do you think they'll have mini ride ops? Maybe you could get a photo of your face stuck to the one operating Taz's cars?

Eh, it's been a pain in the ass getting people to like my photography page, I think I'll stick to that and avoid jumping on the themepark bandwagon.

Maybe I should quickly start my own facebook page for themeparks so I can get some photos while it's empty on media day

If you've got a dslr, I don't care how noisy it comes up but see if you can up the ISO a bit and get some clear shots so we can actually see what's on there please.

Since when has painting only ever been done in one coat? As for the path. I'd like to see it stay sandy coloured so that the whole "ocean parade" thing makes sense. I hope they blasted it back to add a fresh coat of paint on the path in that whole area.

Not with the rock formations all around it it doesn't. Next time someone heads there, could we please get a better shot if possible? I don't currently have a pass to MW to do it myself.

Far right maybe. But it would then mean it's in the complete wrong area so if it is that, their attention to detail clearly only stretches to the main street buildings.

No, but it would be awesome if they did. I wonder if any of the rides would actually make it into the design. Looking at that pic, the road is conveniently placed where RR would be, leaving only that little island in the middle for something. Whether that be a merry-go-round or just something generic we'll have to wait and see. I really do hope they make miniature versions of the rides though.

Looking at that to me it's hardly taking up much room at all. In that shot you can see where the road ends on the right side. All they need to fit in on the left is WWF, superman and AA. Given the size of the stuff we can see, that's not going to need a huge amount of space. I'd say it's only half the building, if that. (This could be completely wrong given we have no plans or other pics to go by)

I'd take a guess as fountains in the water or some water sprays either on the wave or on the gondola itself. The water wouldn't need to be that deep to put a pump in. IMO that would be one of the last things to go in after they put the gondola back and get the cars/equipment out of the way.
