  1. Seaworld WWW WnW Movieworld Dreamworld If we're only talking about the majors
  2. Oh so you don't have any approval for this yet? Maybe try something smaller like aussieworld as a test park
  3. Why not just have the solar panels charge a battery anyway? Also, how much effort did it take you to get the parks to agree to this? If it was my decision I'd be pretty hesitant about a bunch of teens wanting to add their own stuff to my park
  4. Yes people will understand, but people will not accept it. Just look at all the negative comments on apps in the market and istore - people don't think, they just complain
  5. There we go, that's a more formulated response you could learn something from this guy, harrison.
  6. Speaking of posts, I must post a lot of shit on here to be at 654 posts. and why did my post just autosave?
  7. Oh of course, it's nothing like a q4u, the q4u doesnt show wait times of rides on it's list, or if those rides are closed. good point. You should be saying 'yes it is similar to a q4u, however....'
  8. So pretty much q4u without the queuing part
  9. 2 mins for superman. We walked into the queue just as it broke down and everyone bailed and we just walked to the front of the line and they reset the ride and we were on
  10. I'm a little disappointed with the more modern look TBH. The pool fence (I know it was stupid regulations) but the lack of rust on the drop and the missing supports almost ruin the illusion of the west
  11. Assuming it was turned into a paid app eventually, don't Movieworld provide this service (on a board at least) for free and as far as paying goes, DW has Q4U? I agree with Richard, a nice fun novelty and good on you for giving something a go, but he's right, pass-holders can tell and tourists/non-frequent visitors will queue for anything. PLUS, compare our queues to pretty much any park overseas and they're nothing. (In terms of theming as well )
  12. If it was to the size of WWW/WnW then I'd say yes. I seriously doubt there will be a new park any time soon, if ever. Although.... Richard Branson has the cash and the business knowledge to establish one. But where? IMO you would need to look to Sydney since they get most tourists
  13. Can the e-peen discussion be taken to PM or site discussion or something? Does Parkz really need guests to drop in to look at this topic only to see a s--t fight between members?
  14. New site concept design. I can tell you like it already. It's promoting fright night.
  15. Just paid $50,000 for our new, professionally designed logo.
  16. Yea I got excited about an actual competition too Since it seems all the cool kids are doing it, I shall start a new site too. I'm thinking "PaЯkz" Notice how the R is backwards? It's because I'm cool like that. Who's in?
  17. Looking at the clearance in the pics, it seems to be more just the angle the shot is taken at. *I hope*
  18. That drop on WWF, is it just me or does it no longer seem as steep? Also, why the scream-shield? Are they planning on running the park later? Just found a picture of mine from a year or so ago, and I must say I've never noticed the shield before but it was always there.
  19. I like this dave guy Even if it was WWW3, 6 months to me seems a bit rushed, keep in mind though I have absolutely no idea how long these things take, I would just assume for a multi-million (assuming) investment, it might take a bit longer to plan, get approval, and order everything.
  20. Doesn't that get uncomfortable? Surely you could rent a house or something?
  21. As for the more expensive merch, what about all the movie merch at movieworld. that can be upwards of $250 iirc
  22. I have not met anyone that I'm aware of
  23. I couldn't really see Happy Feet being something that would last though. They would have to replace it in a couple of years once the hype wore off (hasn't it already though?). IMO they should stick with a generic water theme like BT was.
