  1. haha true, but zooming in, the supports re-appear but look very stupid as they sort of glitch through the pool. without the u-turns in the slide you painfully break your legs on the pool wall and bounce back to the slide end piece
  2. In what way? It was the first attempt i made at a waterpark, but it was downloaded then i modified it a bit
  3. Maintenance door, and possible sheds......
  4. That park was nowhere near finished, but unfortunately I could not continue as it kept crashing due to the amount of custom objects
  5. I can just imagine the amount of guys lining up for a ride on the miley coaster
  6. it's a sad day for me... turns out i was using to much cso's for the game to handle and any time i tried to do something it would just crash. ive managed to save a couple of ride designs and am now working on individually themed parks (jungle/desert/speed stc)
  7. c'mon, it was 1am lol but yeah, where did the train go? also, whats behind that rollerdoor in the maintenance bay?
  8. It kind of ruins the ride when that happens
  9. So it's been nearly a year since anything was mentioned here, but did the red train ever come back? I havent seen it in ages.
  10. umm, actually I dont see anything in the background. what am i missing?
  11. i nearly once came to a complete stop on those breaks before you start the drops (4 adults in the car and i think the one in front was 2 kids)
  12. Another key to safety is the control of the roller coaster's operating computers: programmable logic controllers (often called PLCs). A PLC detects faults associated with the mechanism and makes decisions to operate roller coaster elements (e.g. lift, track-switches and brakes) based on configured state and operator actions. Periodic maintenance and inspection are required to verify structures and materials are within expected wear tolerances and are in sound working order. Sound operating procedures are also a key to safety.
  13. A MICHAEL Jackson theme park featuring a Thriller rollercoaster is being planned in the singer's hometown. The 100-acre Michael Jackson entertainment complex in Gary, Indiana, will feature a museum, performing arts centre, hotel, golf course and theme park inspired by the pop singer’s Neverland Ranch. The $1 billion project will also feature a carousel, big wheel and bumper cars. Odie Anderson, president of the Jackson family project, told the LA Times work on the theme park is expected to begin sometime this year. The project is said to be constructed over a 10-year period.
  14. speaking of paradise country.....where is it in relation to the parks?
  15. Still, wouldn't a ride/attraction have a separate category again? And commercial structure...maybe a ride but I'm leaning more towards a building. Is it possible that this is just a back of house upgrade for staff only though? Like a new bunch of offices or something? Btw- Where did this information come from?
  16. So here is a little follow up to this park I'm working on. Already I dont like it because its hard to get people to the other side.... so I thought. I since discovered somewhere along the line I managed to pick up a nice little CSO...a peep generator! Now I can easily have people starting from all sides of the park. Anyway, here is 10 pictures of the on-going constructions.... AND THE NEW WATER TREATMENT PLANT I JUST BUILT (mainly just to take up some spare space)
  17. Constructing a new building? Another upcharge?
  18. Yeah I figured that was more like it, looks like you would just have to be pretty careful where you walk though
  19. yea but how long does it take to refill? and wouldnt the holes be dangerous to walk on? unless they get covered
  20. Would it drain/raise up to load and unload or would you just walk through ankle/knee deep water?
  21. I must say I was very impressed with scooby today, (after the 40min queue wait) the final room was nearly pitch black and the lights on scooby wernt lit at all, but the final drop was black and masked with a red laser just like the green one after the backwards drop
  22. plus if you watch the clock, it skips all the time when the park closes. as an example of why this is the only way it could work, I'm always messing around with giant parks with nearly 2000 people. It takes about 20-30 minutes to clear the park in normal speed. if you can survive that wait, about 5-10 years in game time passes.
  23. I was watching it the other day when JetRescue was broken down and thought its stopping pattern was weird, then i realised it stopped just outside the station on those initial brakes. Then it just sat there for 5-10 minutes, then when it finally made it back, it sat in the station for ages then left empty... then that cycle repeated itself. Fortunately they managed to get everything sorted after that, and JR opened again (had to fix some valve looking thing under the station) but for a short while, SeaWorld had 2 broken coasters :S
