there was an odd rattling sound at the back of it (on the bikes just before the sidecars) not sure if thats normal though but something did sound loose.

i swear the launch must have only been 50-something. we seemed to be the only ones on the ride who had been on it before as everyone else said it was great but as soon as we launched, we sat up and went "somethings wrong". didnt even need to hold on (not that you really do normally though)

i was talking to a guy at dreamworld today that told me superman was breaking down yesterday about every hour. due to this, im not taking chances and now im going back to dreamworld tomorrow

what do you think the dummies are attached to the winch for? they dont do test runs with people on the ride. we were the first ones to get a q4u today apparantly and the q4u made a massive difference. we would get ours scanned on the cylcone, re-book the cyclone and once the ride ends we would have to wait 1min to ride again. the two girls running the cyclone were so friendly today. one even let us on again before the q4u was ready (although by this stage we were on our 3rd ride in a row )

motocoaster had more problems this morning. this time with the launch... it got nowhere near its top speed (but i doubt it ever does) but anyway, we were lucky to make it around the track. as soon as it crept back to the station, they closed it for maintenance

only problem we had with early entry this morning was the cyclone. we had a chat to the girl running it and she said they cant usually send a car until about 9.45 as it needs nearly a full load to make it around the track and they were really pushing on the first circuit. other than that it was excellent... we went on cyclone, went one motocoaster....which had more problems.. we barely made it back to the station and they had to close it and call engineers to fix it. we then grabbed a q4u which made the rest of the day sooo easy

wouldnt you be able to find out for us since you work there?

The latest addition. with a little more theming....

lets not talk about the car park. 4-5hrs work went into that..... (its custom scenery i found online) but stupid me forget to check the size of the cars that come with the game and made the carparks about half the size they needed to be. that took about 2hrs, then its took another 2hrs to remove and replace the carparks so they were the correct size. then i had to add an assortment of cars in various colours.

^i was at seaworld on the 1st and there wasnt any water on the left of that room then either. didnt notice much water in the boat at all and i still am yet to see the pre-show even in busier times.

every now and then, i fire up rct3 and build another random park. here are some shots of the latest.

first time on cyclone today and i was wondering, was the queue originally inside the spiral building and did it have a functioning pre-show with that wind turbine thing? i noticted what appeared to be a shredded balloon-like thing sitting on the top of the turbine and the pipes running up the side were sounding like they were blowing heaps of air but it wasnt windy at all. as for avp first time i went on it today and while the lines were annoying, i was just happy to try it out

lol, yes i was there today. first time i have been in 6 years so i was quite impressed with the park overall. was a bit annoyed at the line time with AVP but didnt know it was supposed to be shorter. we were in line around 30mins. hey is the choice and entry of team random or does it always depend on which wall you walk to and does the blue team always enter the top level and get the advantage? didnt end up going on TOT today as it only seemed to randomly reach speeds enough to get near the top of the tower, also again off this topic sorry but whats with wipeout? no queue all day and no water

very impressed with this attraction. as you would expect, everyone shot the op pretty much right away.

martys car drives up top and parks there. there is yet another car parked behind the doors. iirc earlier i asked how many cars there was and i think it ended up being: 4 red - 1 to do stunts, 1 on the track, 1 to drive backwards, and 1 to leave the building (that last one is weird as i thought they would use the normal stunt car or the reversed one to drive out, but i saw it parked there at the start of the show) 5 black - 4 stunt, 1 to split in half

interesting. there was only 2 there on monday. maybe they are just modifying the show slightly and thought 2 looked better than 4 for a while, or maybe some of the drivers took time off so they had less cars available. was funny to see the fabric doors blowing in the wind and being able to see the red car parked and waiting for the finale too

they were using 2 people on monday. there was no preshow as the lines were moving too fast. basically walked right onto the boat. when i went during the easter hols, they were using 3 people to work the ride.

the ride appears to have a revolving station, well, used to. does it still work? if so, when is it used? saw the wheels for it today and they look extremely rusted so im assuming its no longer used. what was its purpose?

was down until around 1pm today. no explination why, first (10.30) it was 'hopefully be open later today'. then at 11.30 'closed for the day' then around 1, OPEN. didnt seem as good as other times

i wont be getting an annual pass. too many bills coming now with wedding plans and paying off a home loan. i am going to movieworld on monday with my sister though.
