    I saw a maintenance engineer walking into the ride carrying three small boxes. Could these have had replacement parts in them. Or just tools.

    What would have caused the breakdown? And where would they have been for it to happen.

    I just went to Movie World and the flooding scene where the water come down the stairs was not working. Also the ride closed in the afternoon and I saw people coming out of the emergency exit. Does anyone know what happened?

    Just went to Movie World. There is some smoke lingering at ground level but it does not add to the effect of the ride.

    Thanks. It seems Movie World does sometimes let their rides deteriorate. I wonder if they are doing what they did to Batman, Looney Tunes and Bermuda triangle and letting it waste away before they close it down and leave it dormant of a year.

    The second lift hill looks as if it has a chain system. And what has happened to MickeyD the person who started this thread?

    The ride has no mist anymore though. t was the lack of that that i was referring to.

    I just found this article in the database and it makes the Scooby Doo spooky coaster sound much better than it actually is. Was it actually like this when it first opened? If so it is sad it is no longer like this.

    Just looking through this. It's sad that the islands that were going to be in the middle didn't get built. That would have been something!

    That's awesome! I would really like to know the actual layout of the ride so if anyone has a map of the layout could they post it here and I'd also like to see the ride with all the lights on. Also, how does the lift hill system work as it doesn't look like a chain lift hill?

    A good dark ride would be awesome. Something on the scale of Bermuda Triangle would be great but I don't think they could do that in the time they have. Maybe that's what they have in store for next year with LTRR and BT replacements.

    Matt, I think we would all like to know who this person is that your getting all this information from? I would certainly like to know! I hope this will be some kind of high tech dark ride. Or two.

    I just thought that it would be good to create a new thread about both new rides the attraction announced for spring 2012 on the MW FB page for the park this year. I am really wondering what the new ride in the batman building will be. That's if it will be inside the building.

    My friend went to dreamworld yesterday and cain that only the track and frame remain of the coaster as it is now just dirt underneath and around. Has anyone got images?

    It was just a suggestion. It would need many refinements.

    This isn't related to the topic very much but why can't they just close down the studios and join up wet'n'wild, Paradise country and movie world with new attractions and make the area they are on one big theme park. Keep the studios as they would be good as an attraction or themed land. You could have this new park as a themed area in the new mega park.
