I agree, hopefully it gets the point across to hold the headset in your hands until you're seated. The amount of people I have seen putting them on and trying walk blindly to the gates astonishes me. Though I have to say most culprits appear to be non-English speaking tourists so not sure how much impact the video will have. I think it would have been awesome if they found someone to play Harley Quinn dressed as a nurse giving the spiel. As it currently stands the video is jarring with the story of the queue line that the Joker has already taken over the Asylum.

Nostalgia is one thing that Dreamworld has over Movie World though, they should use it to their advantage. Many of Disneyland's rides rely heavily on the nostalgia factor, what are Dumbo's flying elephants or Alice's teacups without nostalgia, just dressed up carnival rides, yet they are iconic rides of the park. Would Disney really open a Small World in every one of its parks if it wasn't for the nostalgia factor? I doubt it.

I get this, but he clearly said they would be aiming for September - which they are not they are aiming for October and if it is ready earlier so be it. If they honestly knew it would be ready and open for September, they would be pushing the campaign as being open for the September school holidays would they not?

Is it just me, or is the poll attached to this thread more useless than most? - every option is essentially a "maybe" I don't think that the hypercoaster will do very much damage to the already slipping attendance. If anything it may help, this coaster will attract interstate visitors who will already be familiar with Dreamworld, many of whom would probably be willing to add an extra day their trip to visit Dreamworld whilst their already here.

They say the Southern Hemispheres tallest and fastest hypercoaster - which is correct as it is the only hypercoaster in the Southern Hemisphere

Also says it features the worlds first non-inverting loop. Perhaps the track is 61.6m and with the Jokers head included the ride tops out at 75.5m?

I don't think updating the wall murals by painting a part of the hypercoaster and doomsday will cost much. Although they may not be able to decide which paint colour to pick up from Bunnings for the new track 😜

Well yes everyday has a 50% chance, as there are only 2 options - they either do or don't announce it. Though one could also argue that as opening day approaches the chances of an announcement also increase, but Movie World seems to want no one to know 😜

Well weren't they wrong, Tarzan was a financial flop and King Arthur is on track to be an even bigger financial disappointment.

No the disclaimer was for the store that no longer exists. Any merchandise sold will always have its own trademark disclaimer printed on its packaging.

the trademark disclaimer would relate directly to the Harry Potter store and Saw Maze (both of which are now gone) if you look the trademark list still has Lethal Weapon, Ice Age, and Rio on it (all long gone), They did have some Harry Potter Merchandise in the movie store next to the 4D cinema. They sell a whole range of movie memorabilia in there, even Avatar items. I doubt the trademark disclaimers would relate to the individual merchandise though as each product would have its own trademark printed on it.

They do not have the rights, this is a trademark disclaimer from when the Harry Potter Shop was in Movie World basically telling people the exact opposite - that they do not own Harry Potter, and any reference to it is owned by Warner Bros and JK Rowling.
