  1. It's been unavailable for much longer than that. Like 2 years or something. . .
  2. Wow that funnel really is coming together quickly. I just love the scale of the funnel- it's massive compared to Shotgun next door.
  3. I agree. GD scares the shit out of me. AW- One of these 3: build a new kids coaster so they can get rid of Dragon Express for good, a Larson Drop Tower to replace Freefall or give Water Mountain an overhaul. DW- One of these 3: Refurb Cyclone and give it new trains and paint, reopen Eureka or demolish and replace with Gerstlauer Spinning Coaster. SW- Build a new ride in the old Sea Viper and Pirate space. MW- Refurb Superman. LPS- Build a new Big Dipper in some way.
  4. Paying 9 million dollars for something people piss and spew in is outrageous. I would spend 9 million dollars on a Chance Hyper GT-X coaster.
  5. Maybe Bounty's will be rethemed to suit the area surrounded by Mi2
  6. Iwata, Nintendo's president has died. http://kotaku.com/the-video-game-community-pays-tribute-to-satoru-iwata-1717397315
  7. I have also noticed on the map DW are sponsoring FlowRider, using Billabong as it's sponsor. Has this always been the case or is it new?
  8. It would take them a month just to clean up the cobwebs in the station.
  9. Sorry guys I've been without Internet since I've been to LPS. First off the Ranger has seemed to get a refresh. The ride supports have been repainted white and the lights have been modified. On the other side of the coin the Tango Train and Tumble Bug have seen better days. Nothing has been done with the Flying Saucer area at the moment. I wasn't bothered to go on the Ferris wheel so I don't know if the plane decals are still there. Ive noticed a sign on the way down to Maloney's corner about an upcoming ride called the Mystery Manor- I'm certain it's a temporary ride like that Maze Runner thing they had but I could be wrong. The Freak Out is back for the holidays and it is indeed a good ride. I wish LPS installed this ride for permanent.
  10. Hi everyone I'll be popping into LPS later this afternoon. When I'm back I'll post a TR.
  11. Dragon Express is gold… it's called the back breaker for a reason. If RCDB's claims that's its a Zamperla turn out to be true, Cyclone might have a run for its money. IMO the majority of Zamperla coasters are crap, from their kids coaster to the much loved Volare. Even the Thunderbolt at Coney Island is rough and it's just 1 year old.
  12. For flats I wouldn't mind a Sky Fly, an Air Race or a Power Surge. A blue sky dream for a coaster would be a custom built Intamin Mega-Lite. That would top all the coasters in the Gold Coast including Superman. I could also suggest buying a used Schwarzkopf Looping Star since their forceful, compact and overall thrilling but many of them have exceeded their design life. I'm pretty keen on the Iron Shark clone- it's small, cheap and cheerful for a park as small as LPS. DisneyDoll, the Big Dipper (wood and steel) never had supports going through the Big Top. The Big Top was designed to replace the Big Dipper. No. Just no. Boomerangs are horribly rough (when they have Arrow trains) and the majority of them are really really old.
  13. I'd love to see a Chance Hyper GT-X or Eurofighter at SW. Unfortunately I'm sure that a Blue Fire clone exceeds SW's height limit, its 130ft (the height limit is 100ft?), maybe a mini Blue Fire that suits SW's height restrictions.
  14. I havent found Little Mac or Villager yet. I bought Captain Falcon during the first run. Also just letting everyone know Mega Man has also been restocked.
  15. Don't just think about off the shelf models. I would much rather prefer an X-Car, a Premier Sky Rocket II, a Eurofighter or a Chance Hyper GT-X coaster like the one at Kentucky Kingdom. These could be custom fit and they would work out great on Maloney's Corner. maybe an element over the water.
  16. Arkham is a special kind of SLC- the SLCs in the States are really rough… And also DJRappa Arrow designed their trains differently to most other manufacturers… they focussed on the chest while B&M focused on the heart with their restraints…
