  1. They own a lrage parcel of land to the left or the park. The park has been recently buying more lots of the recent years.
  2. @djrappa yeah and well AW is working with Intamin now so I don't see why they won't consider working with them agian. However I don't see Inferno lasting much more than a a few more seasons as it was brought second hand and was a prototype.
  3. Nah they won't go with Huss again so maybe one from Intamin or S&S. 😝 You know one that is actualy reliable.
  4. The MI name tag is more of an advertising line. Maximum Impact attraction. They have advertised this ride as MI-3 nobody know the name yet. So they always refer to it as the code name.
  5. @themagician I would say yes. It would be very good for capcity soaking as they can hold a big chunk of people and with AWS theming standards could be very well themed and AW have stated they want more capcity soaking rides. But personally I would think a lazy river would cost a few mill. So they could do it in a non major capital year. Keep in they also spent 1.5 million this year on a high voltage power ring, last season 1.5mill on a new car park and Mark said they will be expanding the car park agian soon and that means offices and maintenance areas need moving. But in a few years when they have less infunstructer cost they could do it then.
  6. Keep in mind 1 year ago Mark asked us what our thoughts were regarding a lazy river. Perhaps MI-4 could be a lazy river.
  7. We'll I think this ride is an excellent addition. All my friends are talking about this ride and they all can't wait to ride it. (Non enthusisast) This ride will defiantly be a hit with the teen/young adults market and will help AW's flat ride lineup. Since they lost BR and Inferno is unpredictable it's good they now have 3 flat rides that are reliable. Keeping in mind during fright nights last year they only had 3 major dry rides. Abyss, black widow and Rampage. (I know there are others but in terms of thrilling rides)
  8. Well the park has been buying more land recently to the left of the park. So more room for future expansion.
  9. To me it looks just smaller than Abyss. Abyss being 32 metres I would have thought it was the 25 metre version. Now Andrew Sherry said it had a 15 metre pendulum meaning maybe the tower height itself is around 20 metres?
  10. Mark said from day one it will be the biggest of its kind in Australia. So I gather slightly taller than Claw. But they are targeting Perth people for this ride that don't ride the Claw. This ride has gotten a pretty big response for local people and all my non enthusiast friends are talking about it.
  11. True I suppose the Sound Stages are closer to the new Hyper Coaster. Does anyone know when Aqua man finishes filming?
  12. Seems like there are new signs up with MI-3 teasers at the park. People were talking about them on the TT video comments. Also in 2 hours we got a Teaser video, a teaser poem, pictures and a reveal video with information about the ride. AW have defiantly built up the hype with this ride and hopefully they can keep it going with their campaign. (Follow the journey) and the Giants Awakening. Plus 150k video views in 24 hours is not bad.
  13. Could they clean up the stuff in the other half of LTRR building and use that as a maze location?
  14. I am only joking and I was talking about the logos inside the park.
  15. @Richard it must be so people remember what park they are in. Just in case they forget by the big sign at the front of the park.
  16. @ABYSS It was intense drumming and phrases like, Join the journey, something about drums and then it said our new world class ride coming in September.
  17. The video they posted on Facebook is doing ok. 4.2k views in 20 minutes from the video plus all those who saw it on TV. I know all my non theme park enthusiast friends are messaging me saying they saw it and the new ride looks awesome. Theming teasers are out. Now the speculation on the theme begins. I think some sort of medieval monster theme. So they picked up the ball now. Let's hope they throw it foward now. Sorry to double post but they have updated their website to add MI-3. Very interesting theme and story line. Defiantly some animal or mythical creature it sounds like. https://adventureworld.net.au/rides-and-attractions/mi3/
  18. For Those who missed the video. TT decided to play on the MI theme.
