  1. So lap bars Interesting. Some of the theming teasers look very interesting. They said the theme was made in Spain, Thailand and a few other places I missed. This ride looks like an amazing ride to AW's line up and I cannot wait to find out the theme and name. The theme and name are still top secret however the theming took 12 shipping containers. Is a almost identical clone to Loke meaning it will swing around 45 metres at full height. Geez 5 cranes required at once to build the tower.
  2. They don't post today tonight videos on 7plus I don't think. today tonight post all their videos on to Facebook and adventure world always uploads the new stories on their YouTube page also. Should be cool to watch.
  3. I think it already had that title. I know Mark Shaw had his eyes set on number one park Australia wide. It was the highest rated amusement park/water park/theme park for the 2014/15 season according to Mark.
  4. Abyss goes to -1 G force also. But you should get some decant air time on that hill. (For DC Rivals)
  5. Keep in mind DC Rivals will only pull a max of 4.3 Gs. Abyss pulls up to 4.5Gs so this will not be the most intense ride in terms of G force. However it will beat Superman Escape by 0.1 Gs.
  6. Adventure world is back from the dead. Finally posting about the today tonight story and acknowledging MI-3. Also AW are now doing their group additions for their seasonal employees.
  7. Did you manage to see the rest of the tower? To me that blue and orange thing behind the bushes on the left of the picture looks like part of the tower. I do hope they paint it to suit the Inferno theme. Its an interesting view of the underneath and trailer mounted part of Inferno. I know the ride was closed down and taken apart during the last 2 weeks of the season hopefully its working ok and Huss hasn't let AW down again like 2015/2016 season.
  8. Yeah MI-3 is much bigger. MI-3 looks exactly like Loke's support structured. Meaning it's much bigger than the Claw. Plus it's the new version of the Intamin Gyro Swing.
  9. @Aw hype Claw cost 6million back in 2004. However Mark said last year that MI-3 will be the largest of its kind in Australia. So it will be Bigger than the claw.
  10. With both Abyss and Kraken they revealed the ride type and stuff in the first today tonight video. Then in both cases in September they do a follow up story which revels the name, theme and so on. Hopefully they keep this format. I do expect to see Season Passes on sale within a few weeks. But different team different ways of doing things.
  11. @AlexB I was only joking. Yes they dropped the ball because the Kraken and Abyss teasers appeared in January. However the offical reveal for Kraken and Abyss were done via a news report. However they have teased on a TV report last summer about MI-3. But yes in terms of teasing try have definatly dropped the ball on MI-3. It seems they have gone the route of VRTP in just announcing t in a video and no big trading campaign like they did in the past. Which is a bit said as the teaser campgains get people interested. However if you look on their Facebook page they already have had around 5 people asking if a new ride is coming like promoised due to AW being quiet on the ride.
  12. This model we be the largest of its kind in Australia. The new version Intamin gyro swings are much bigger then the claw.
  13. @Reanimated35 so it will have inversions? I knew it.
  14. They set it up in Perth then the council shut it down I believe because they didn't file proper permits.
  15. So they dropped the ball???? MI-3 is coming and it safe to say is a Loke clone (Intamin Gyro Swing judging from these promos) Posted on Todays Tonight's Facebook page. The full story will be on Monday night.
  16. Keep in mind most states are on the last week of school holidays. But I am surprised most rides aren't longer. But I suppose DW's advantage of have lots of rides means less queues.
  17. The 2 units are the same ride @Gazza. They painted it a few years ago to the new red and green colour and renamed Spinning Coaster. If you notice the control both/front of the ride still says crazy coaster.
  18. Note saying they are. But if DW are found responsible for the accident for whatever reason what are the consequences? A lot of money?
  19. I have read somewhere that they are banned from every operating rides in Australia again and non of the shows want them anyway.
  20. @Theme Park we do know that SW are getting a major attraction in 2019 to replace Vikings Revenge.
  21. @Skeeta was joking. Plus he said it was for a 2017 attraction. Their is no way VRTP would buy 2 major coasters in one year.
  22. When someone is paying 30+ million they would care actually. But I think this is the cheapest and most safe option they could do without changing footings and he whole support.
  23. I have once ridden the Bounty's Revenge 30 times in a row. I did have to get of and re queue but its high capcity I never had to wait.
  24. Yes but passes come out late July early Auguest. So when passes become valuable I am sure we will here a lot about MI3.
