  1. I definitely think that the refurb of Tiger Island proved they have the facilities, knowledge and skills to design and build a world class attraction. I definitely think it is one of the best animal exhibits I've ever seen, especially for tigers. The left extensions aren't that great, but the main island, seating area and shop are awesome. And for Tailspin, a very simple ride, but I definitely think it was very well executed
  2. I definitly say that the images that have been teased aren’t linked to this, and it is just an add on to the Star Tour to try and get interest in it again (that’s if it hasn’t been as popular lately). Maybe they won’t do the AA one anymore, or will alternate, or they will always do Rivals, but if it’s under maintenance do AA instead.
  3. I would get if they left a couple marketing images throughout the park, that has a small mention of it. But the fact the major signage for the attractions entrance are still up in appalling. @Roachie is right DW, we know you can do way way way better. It’s at the point now that it’s coming across that you don’t even care. It’s the minor things that make a big difference, and for a struggling park, you should be doing everything in your power to make the park the best it can be
  4. It’s such a nice facade to, and i think would be a perfect entrance for the new ride. And I doubt what they do for the facade will be anywhere near as good. But maybe they wanted to keep it, and it comes down to the fact the ride can’t be installed inside without demolition. But I’m sure there would’ve been a way
  5. Absolutely, and if they did queue theming like they did with Conjuring 2, it would be amazing
  6. The most common request I heard last year was IT, and it’s the same this year. So hopefully it is true.
  7. That is true, but surely they could’ve put the door in the middle, and built a smaller facade either side to match what was there
  8. This image I think summarises the park today. They’ve taken the old stuff, and ruined it or removed the magic that was there. They could have adult out those doors in the middle, and yet they are too the side. And they probably could have even left the original lower facade, and just widened the door to make flow easier. But no... they did this
  9. There is a new roaming character in the western area at MW. This photo is also stolen from TPSN
  10. I really hope they do keep the facade as is, and it will really ruin the area if they change it. The only they should do to it is repaint it (with the same colour) and change the signage. And hopefully that bit of facade at the top they’ve removed is just for access and they replace the timber and it matches what was there I’m wondering if they will transform the the old Boost Juice store to the exit, and the main entrance and queue area will be inside. I also hope they don’t add queue posts outside the building and keep the area clean as is now. If the queues become that long, then set up a temporary queue area outside to the right, but that’s it
  11. A couple of shipping containers and a small crane were in the fenced off area outside of dreamworld this evening
  12. As far as I know they started #sodagate in April/May and has continued since (except during the most recent holidays)
  13. When did DW say it was closed for I-ride construction?
  14. This is still the offical published reasoning for its closure @AlexB you’re right with that bridge wait being a max of 2 tonne. But they wouldn’t need to go over that bridge if they were wanting to access the Dreamworld cinema with machinery. BuzzSaws entrance is before that bridge
  15. That northern waterway does connect to the main lake. They installed a large pipe connecting the two, and installed a concrete bridge over. And I’d say they kept it, so they could clearly seperate the two areas of land. I wonder if that strip of land between the water and Nickelodeon Land was left clear they can expand the kids area too in the future.
  16. An update of the reclaimed land works from July 17
  17. @MARK28 are you able to see/tell if the building has been constructed large enough to allow for expansions? Or is the entrity of the building used, and they would have to expand the building itself to be able to add new rides?
  18. The worst part is, the majority of this stuff could easily be fixed within a week
  19. I love that it is now free, but the way they present this system now just isn't at the standard the whole area is it at
  20. As @Theme Park said... does anyone know why Zipline never operated (or if it did, for such a short period) And why is it still there VRTP? And the Frozen Coke stand is getting a refurb And I think they should really just remove this now pointless shelter to open up the area a little
  21. So they said everything would open when the park does... and yet as you can see below. Hardly anything was. WWF only operates from 11-4 and they have now got these even crappier plastic cards on the chain for the villains area. Photos taken at 10:20
  22. The attraction is still on some of the park maps, but all signage in and around it have gone
  23. TOT2 has just done 5 test runs within a 10 minute period
  24. The castle is undergoing a repaint. You can really see the difference in the last photo. And the rides information and safety board is gone too.
