  1. MW posted this on FB. They have said that Roxy Theatre will have flashing lights: It looks like there will be a fountain at the beginning of Main Street.
  2. Thrillz Updates: - Tail Spin: http://www.thrillz.com.au/tailspin-construction-9th-september/ - Throughout Dreamworld: http://www.thrillz.com.au/worlds-update-dreamworld-9th-september/ Tail Spin: The large plane has been put in place and the concrete has been painted blue. Throughout Dreamworld: Cameras haven't been installed yet on GD. The timber walkway next to the GD (leading down to log ride) has been lacquered.
  3. It looks like Buccaneer Bay is loosing its name and will become a part of WnW Junior.
  4. Just went past DW and it appeared that the GD gondola had a camera on it. Couldn't 100% tell though, can anyone confirm this.
  5. ^Yes and No. It seems the first 3 nights are $30, then the next 2 nights are $40, then the next 4 are $50. It seems strange that they have done this though.
  6. Posted by MW on FB. Here is a closer look at the cars:
  7. Tickets are now available for non-pass holders.
  8. ^Exactly. When families go to parks they want to ensure that their kids have a great time, because for most parent seeing smiles on their kids faces is all they want at the end of the day. And it seems like Driving School will be an attraction which will make kids happy. Being able to drive around and not as limited as you are on the Taxi's. We have had a number of good rides aimed for the thrill seekers installed at MW over the past few years, so it is about time that they install a new attraction just for kids.
  9. ^I don't think the rail would be electrified due to safety reasons. When you press down on the accelerator the motor/engine revs, so I would say a modified engine.
  10. Sea World update, photo source: The Theme Park Social Network The Sea Viper has been completely demolished now. All that lays there now is a large open space: The upper section of the bridge is now gone. It now makes the space look a lot more cleaner and open: The pathway where the train line crossed has been re-laid: Other sections of pathway are having some work done to them:
  11. ^I agree. I didn't get a chance to do the walking dead maze last year, but I did do the HB maze and there was at least 12 actors.I remember there were 3 actors in the one area.
  12. They said last year there were 4 all new mazes. Yes they had walking dead in 2012, but the maze was different last year. So there is a chance that there could be one again this year, but I personally doubt it.
  13. It seems that people forget that they can turn that phone sideways. Especially when they go to themeparks.
  14. ^Maybr it's a soft opening, or they just got some people to try it out, or were filming for an advert
  15. The_Ninja_59 is there any chance you could get some photos of Triple Vortex and see if the fence along river rapids has been replaced yet?
  16. ^There was a billboard in Oxenford, that advertised the ride for about 5 months or so.
  17. The GD reopens on Monday, so the next time people visit could they have a look to see if cameras have been installed.
  18. I do hope they change it to Rio, it would be much better than journey 2.
  19. ^It was a simple arch shape that covered that whole platform where users get on. It appeared to be a metal roof, unlike the usually shade sail.
  20. I haven't been on one of these before, but what I like is how unlike Pandaemonium, where there is the hard and soft styles and there is alternations between them. On this ride both the adrenaline junkies and kids can go on it at the same time and go to the limits they want to. Even if you didn't want to spin upside down, I think the ride will be quite good with the large swinging arm. It doesn't look like the ride will be a spin-n-spew if you didn't spin your plane. The ride also seems to provide that missing link between Zombie Evilution and it fitting into Ocean Parade. The arm on Tail Spin seems to have a similar texture/feel to it as Zombie Evilution, while it has the beach hut look, that Wipeout has.
